Not sure for sure but isn’t a 686 about Double the price of a GP100? More like 1000?

  2. sonny d on November 20, 2022 at 9:41 pm

An excellent list! It comes down to what you own and are trained with. I don’t have the resources you have and I’ll always come down to a 9mm pistol of any size, an AR and a shotgun for home defense. These days you can add a PCC. I have an AK that I love but it’s just not as effective as an AR in terms of the way you can build it. Love my Ruger Blackhawk but it’s not a go to gun. For shotgun my Maverick 88 is accurate enough at close range and indestructible. See TFB/TV video on this gun. Glock. Sheesh. I’ll take my PPQ out of the box over a G whatever even with Glock mods which you absolutely must do. In the end this is a home defense video so I’d go with the PPQ and IWI z-15 AR or maybe a PCC with the Maverick handy. Sorry, long winded reply but then this was a wide open video.

I personally prefer Ruger revolver to S&W Revolver, and Ruger SA revolver to Colt SA revolver. Grew up on them.

  6. Ryan 12 on November 20, 2022 at 9:44 pm

I have a different weapon for home defense and carry but I still have my grandfathers smith and Wesson from the 50s. it’s a 5”, 6 shot, .38 special. It served him well, my father, and now me.

#11 sticks of dynamite and a good lighter

  8. Robert Fandel on November 20, 2022 at 9:46 pm

Everyone told me I was buying junk when I was buying LM5 magazines but I like them. See you have some for the ar.

I’m not a gun freak like Honest Outlaw! And I have only owned 5 guns in my 54yrs of life! My 1st was a black Ruger 9mm with 15 or 16+1 in a clip and got rid of it because I wasn’t accurate with it,so I traded it in on a gray Smith and Wesson 9mm with 10+1 and wasn’t good with it either and got hard up for money and sold it! Went over 10yrs without a gun, until I accidently bought the wrong gun that turned to be the best for me,the M&P Shield Plus! I love it and rock with it! And I also bought another 9mm (Metal M&P 2.0), and my 1st ever shotgun (Mossberg 930 SPX),2 weeks ago! In love this both of them but working 6 days a week on 3rd shift at Honda of America in Marysville Ohio, has prevented me from shooting these guns at the range!😢😭Ps.I think my Mossberg 930 SPX matches up well with your Benelli M4 for a lot less?

  10. travi on November 20, 2022 at 9:47 pm

Lol I’m looking at the comments and surprise surprise everyone thinks he “missed a gun” aka he didn’t talk about their particular gun lol. Why are we like this in the firearms community seems like folks always need validation

  11. sonny d on November 20, 2022 at 9:48 pm

Oh I was wondering why you didn’t have the Remington 870 on there I’ve got the 870 Tactical Express but it’s probably like seven or eight years old so hopefully they made them right I liked it cuz it’s all metal and Mossberg uses the like aluminum for the pump action

Now if only people who live in NJ, NY, and the west coast as a whole could actually enjoy their 2nd amendment.

  13. Robert Borgia on November 20, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Surprised there wasn’t a 1911 on the list. Us military used the 1911 for many years without issues

  14. Walter Reed on November 20, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Thank you for your expertise. Looking for a micro to mainly conceal. Currently use either the Glock 27 and XD9 subcompact for home defense, but would love a reliable micro. S&W it is!!

  15. JUAN JOSE Amaro Aviles on November 20, 2022 at 9:55 pm

And of course Neo choose the HK mp5k 9mm

  16. Ben Maxwell on November 20, 2022 at 9:57 pm

    M9 or 1911
    870 or 1301

    Awesome choices

  21. Toe Jam on November 20, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Influencers are pushing revolvers now, just like a giraffe mount for a red dot, and lvpo. Don’t trust any of them, save your money

  22. Djochar Ablaikan on November 20, 2022 at 9:59 pm

For me, Shotgun, and whatever gun that takes same magazines as police use is a choice for SHTF scenario because ammo will be affordable and everywhere and i am yet to see something beat 12 gauge for home defence and stoping power.

*Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil. For my rod (1911A1) and my staff (Rem 870 AOW) shall comfort me.*

I would rather t bag a bear trap than invade this guys house. I feel like him, his wife, and kids would all shoot me at the same exact time if I stuck one toe thru his door

S&W 686 6" barrel. The Navy let me use it to qualify Expert Pistol w/ .38 ammo. three times.

  27. Gabe Tousey on November 20, 2022 at 10:09 pm

But the mp5 is really expensive

    P-07 vs P-09????

  38. gmctech on November 20, 2022 at 10:17 pm

LoL!! I have LITERALLY defended myself from a few Polar Bears working in the High Arctic of Canada using my Maverick88!!

  39. Drpepperspray1010 on November 20, 2022 at 10:18 pm

I agree with the s&w shield pick. I’ve had one for about 5 years and it never once jammed thru all the times I’ve shot it

  40. Minotaur1776 on November 20, 2022 at 10:20 pm

    Pistol: personal defense in public.
    Shotgun: personal defense at home.
    “Assault” rifle: war.
    Bolt action: long distance war.

  41. Dreamfury on November 20, 2022 at 10:22 pm

    Great "Snatch" reference!

  42. I'm a Friend of Sarah Connor on November 20, 2022 at 10:24 pm

Comes to semi-auto rifles, not knocking AR, it’s an excellent platform. I personally prefer a Springfield Armory M1A/M-14 and an AK-47. The M1A I’ve never had a malfunction in 3K rounds, it fires either .308 Win and 7.62 NATO, cycles, never had misfire, slam fire, jam nor had my safety malfunctioned. I like the placement and operation of the safety, and even best is it’s iron sights. Out of the box, I don’t think you can beat the iron sights, no need for dots and reflexes. Once sighted in, those iron sights place .308 Win or M80 7.62 NATO where the sights were.

I keep seeing posts about ruger revolvers having severe quality issues lately. Also — shotguns have a problem with over-penetration?

  44. kh1129 on November 20, 2022 at 10:28 pm

Thoughts on Springfield XDm and XD series? Pros/cons.

  45. I'm a Friend of Sarah Connor on November 20, 2022 at 10:28 pm

I went with Ruger PC Charger, MP5 is just too pricey. That said, the B&T APC9, APC40, APC10, APC45 is coming up as a rival to Hk MP5

  46. Terry Brady on November 20, 2022 at 10:31 pm

How do you feel about one of my favorites, the CZ P01 compact? All I would add to mine is a set of quality night sights…….

  47. woundedsqrl on November 20, 2022 at 10:31 pm

Beretta 92 over the 226 all day, and of course over the Glocks… the slide design of the Beretta is far superior.

  48. Timothy Dye on November 20, 2022 at 10:33 pm

Have all these guns and more. Great job, but hard to take you seriously when you say hk usp’s aren’t accurate and just move on. Tells me all I need to know about your experience with them. And my hk mark 23 and usp 40 run circles around my stacatto. Please do more research. World militaries using hk’s can’t be wrong. When people put a price on how much they spend to protect themselves and others, I have no use them. No one wants to hear anybody bitching about price. Most of my collection was purchased by cash from skipped meals, second job, and overtime.

  49. Xequalswhat on November 20, 2022 at 10:36 pm

    I have a CZ P10C, P10F, and Scorpion Evo3 S1. Love them….but damn ……I guess I have to go get a P07 now🙂

  50. Patriot Rising on November 20, 2022 at 10:37 pm

When I run into a horde of competition zombies I used my FNP Tactical .45. I have a Mossberg 930 Blackwater edition that is really decked out but in such a way it cuts down on some of the added weight.
Oh yeah, concealed carry weapons I do not really have favorite there? I have a Kimber and a FNP 9 that would do okay I am sure. I mainly like DA/SA pistols so a hammer is actually not a great thing especially if it grabs and snags in clothing.
I also carry a Hawk OTF automatic which I would bet my life on.
I live in a area where crime is relatively low there are break ins but they are also rare because everyone in this state for the most part are very well armed and have serious time on the range.
