What a crock . Guaranteed ways to really piss off an attacker . A firearm is what you need .

Mi meraviglio delle Vostre iniziative- quella non e’ difesa e’ violenza senza nessun controllo- cosi’ ogni matto o scemo si sente autorizzato

  15. Chris Thomas on April 30, 2023 at 3:50 am

Pepper spray and a firearm should be your only considerations…every other choice leaves you at a significant legal and tactical disadvantage. Choose at your own peril.

  16. Street Phone on April 30, 2023 at 3:50 am

A wheel nut of decent size, swinging at the end of a cord not long enough to hit yourself with, would give an attacker pause. Separate them while passing security and they’re just two unrelated items.

I have one of those leaf pendant knives that came in a box of like 200 knives. Idk if mine has a chain, but no one is going to be turning that into a kunai chain when panicking 😂

  28. Adam Churvis on April 30, 2023 at 4:02 am

NOT ONE OF YOU noticed that NONE of the FOUR DIFFERENT BATONS shown starting at 5:00 are Zahals! Three are gravity batons — one of which is a Zahal knockoff — and one is a cheap Chinese spring baton.

  29. John Zumpano on April 30, 2023 at 4:02 am

Self defense with whatever means you have at your disposal is important and should be deployed if you or your loved ones are in danger. In the end it really is that simple, yet it never ceases to amaze me that nearly every one of these threads is filled with poorly thought out, poorly spelled, and completely unnecessary arguments and insults hurled around. We are all here because we all agree with the points made in the video, so let’s grow up for a fucking change.

  30. None on April 30, 2023 at 4:04 am

I’m a alterboy, so those prayer beads would come in handy if a priest trys to attack me

  32. Rosemarie Bredahl on April 30, 2023 at 4:07 am

Are there combination weapons with a variety of legal self-defense weapons in a single unit, such as:
combined claw with buttons for knife & house or car key to protrude & tasar & silent cell signal alarm & very loud disorienting alarm & video with sound for both SD card and connectivity to smart phone app with option to include gps location & calling designated emergency numbers w/pre-recorded messages & blinding light & salt bullets & pepper spray & hybrid power source (rechargeable batteries + regular batteries + mechanical energy generator via crank &/or shaking &/or passive motion like "self-winding" watches have & micro usb for recharging cell phone Etc.)? If not, seems like an obvious marketable device!
After all, in emergencies, one can’t assume there will be time for switching between separate devices.
Wouldn’t hurt to offer optional accessories such as holders as wrist bands; belts with hidden compartments +/- belt buckle weapons; stealth jewelry and hair bands/clips/ decor and baseball caps that double as weapons &/or alarms -/or blue tooth vs gps tags; easy access (holster-like) ~ "fanny pack" with accessories for stuff like chemical exposure mitigation incl nose clips and oxygen canister + goggles that may as well also filter out some % of blinding light +/- single lense infrared attachment + eye wash + skin cleanser, and sound assault mitigating ear plugs, + multi tool for escaping car trunk or removing tail light for waving for help &/or leaving a trail of evidence as well as a concealable saw for cutting rope or zip ties; maybe activatable thermal modifiers like hand warmers Etc.; stimulants to partially counter some sedatives; and other accessories such as smart phone "protective cases" with stealth compartments, hidden compartments in shoe heels &/or straps &/or fasteners that local shoe-repair shops could swap with regular heels; bullet-slowing combinations (gels, steel-weave cloth, deflective angles, Etc.) incl ability to integrate separate segments (free-standing but hidden separately, re-purposing parts of containers discussed herein, integrated into normal-looking clothes &/or jackets, &/or umbrellas, Etc.) +/- sleeves for adding "every day stuff such as cooking sheets or griddles, pre-made removable metal sections from your car, Etc.; with eachother to increase coverage; underwire bras with modified wire + closure hooks + standard-looking front padding; various multi- function fabric decor such as studs & rhinestones & appliques & ribbon & inner seam self-adhering holders of misc tiny stuff; ways to limit lay-people’s hand-held (relatively weak) metal-detectors from noticing hidden weapons or create uniform patterns to camouflage what can’t be sufficiently blocked ; Etc.; plus a line of custom-fit items to place inside of these hidden containers.
    Think ‘Q’ on James Bond.
Women and teens particularly would benefit from such devices (+ manufacturers could make additional profits through partnerships with App developers and approved distributors could share profits from tuition for training courses tailored to the use of their proprietary products; Etc..

  36. mortsdans on April 30, 2023 at 4:09 am

Most of these are terrible ideas. baton, folding locking knife, pepper spray and handgun in .380 or 9mm are the only legit options for self defense. Don’t bother with gimmicks

  50. Ghost on April 30, 2023 at 4:28 am

The best self defence a man could ever have is the ability to fight. Ideally boxing because you never wanna end up off your feet in the floor wrestling someone in the streets, you gotta be able to deliver blows.
