I just received my grandfathers 1949 model 90 today. It looked so good I ran about 8 rounds of bird shot through it. A couple times it popped open after the second shot (just a little bit,but it opened) Dont know when the last time it was shot probably more than 30 years ago. shot great tho.

Hi how did you determine manufactured in 1950? Do you know range of years produced? Also can gun shoot modern ammo or magnum loads, target loads, buck shot ect? Thank you for sharing.
