The hand-stamped numbers on the parts look very uniform. I’m used to seeing them more uneven in depth and alignment. I’m guessing that they tended to get sloppy later on as they rushed to get more and more out for the war effort.
What is the best Ak-47 to get? Most durable, best designed and well made, even if it’s more expensive than the others. I’m new to guns, but I plan on watching all your vids.
I really honestly liking your videos because you give a detail and deep information about ak types rifle .
Especially
Very very important thing you also teach how to identify AK type old vs new identify fast
Beautiful how do you even get access to this? Also the bolt has no kind of step or deformation after all of that abuse you can tell all the parts are quality.
I prefer the early AK-74’s to the later ones, the laminate finish on the wood furniture is much more aesthetically pleasing to the later plum furniture in my opinion.
Where are you finding these kits? I just picked up a 1983 AKS74 kit after watching your video! I would LOVE to get my hands on this 77 afghan pick up, please let me know how I can find these 😅😅.
Do you know anything about that type of recoil rod assembly? 4:13
I picked one up a knob creek a while back that is milled and has the grooves smoothed off on the side like that one. Is it possibly some sort of Russian transitional part or something, before they started the wire ones? Haven’t found any info online.
Your content is so amazing that I felt compelled to subscribe to your channel. Keep shining!
My favorite AK is the one that comes with the side-folder like the one used by the VDV guys.
AK-74 variant without a siderail mount, I really like the AK-74N with a siderail mount
Huge ASMR vibes!

Small correction: The top cover is numbers-matching to the rifle. I was not able to see it clearly until rendering this video in HD.
She was let go after a long career in Afghanistan. It was an abrupt layoff. She never even trained her younger M4 replacement
Beautiful piece.
Keep them coming mate

Very early ak74 . Nice maybe if they gave it a bit of a refurbish or a paint job it would be a better looker . Still nice just kinda warn down
A more than wonderful video and a very beautiful and distinctive gun, its slightly wiped paint, I like a lot.. Your friend is from Baghdad
