you guys do great work. Really enjoy my blazer now that you put the Apple CarPlay in it.
thank you for this video
Est-il possible d’avoir le lien pour le poste à savoir que j’ai les commandes au volant ! Merci
Fortunately for Envoy owners, the bezel (buh-ZELL) only covers the A/C and radio.
Will installing this unit into a 2006 trailblazer LS interfere with the security system?????
Parts used linked in the description of the video!
Do you have to have the smart harness because when I hook my stereo up in the car I have no power but when I hook the stereo up to the battery the stereo comes on
02 trailblazer with Bose ? Don’t care if retains onstar is their a video on that??? Online schematics on wireing are iffy
My radio says Bose on the screen but I do not have steering wheel controls, I’m not sure what harness I would need
Question would this same parts work my 05 trailblazer ext ls i only asked because I’m not sure if the EXTs are different
Thanks in advance
Can i use the same harness as you. No steering wheel controls, no bose, but has onstar. Of course onstar doesn’t work and don’t need it too. Thx
I used the exact same products as you, but mine did not have the interface illumination tab on it, just curious if you remember what color it was or if you had to double up any wires
Good video and well explained. Unfortunately i am building (soldering and heatshrinking) my harness and the whole reason i watched this video was for the illumination wire. I was really hoping for something to the effect of.. "If you have a none bose gps factory unit the pin you need is this one top or bottom row 4th from the left Ex. check for continuity from the pin to the wire to ensure you have the correct one and solder it up." not a huge deal i will figure it out when i put it in. Also i will let you know i didn’t connect my power antenna wire to my remote so i will let you know how that plays out. might have to solder that connection anyways. As i don’t have a power antenna it seems redundant. Haven’t checked the wiring diagram to see what other vehicle systems that powers though..
where does the smaller plug from the car connect to?
Hi again can you explain what about the other harnes connector of the Bose radio the black one please?
what is all i need to buy to replace completely stock stereo. Havent messed with anything i have a stereo to buy but do i need the wiring harness i have an 03 trailblazer
Will this work for the 2009 Saab 9-7x? Pretty sure it will but I just want to be sure! Thank you for this video man 👌🏽
what do i do with the smaller plug?
hi, i want to know what kind of wire adapter i will use, for 2006 gmc envoy? its have booss system, but there are no steering wheel controls.
did u need to run an extra accessory wire to fusebox
I am looking for the actually 7 mm screws. What should I search for?
Does the Smart Harness do anything to activate the Red wire for power? I purchased a harness and wired to spec with my Dual radio and the Red wire out of the harness is not giving power when the ignition is on.
Where is the on star and steering wheel video?
Do you know what kind of butt connectors I would use? Since I wouldn’t be soldering
Hello, what did you use to join all the cables (What looks like black tape)?
I did this EXACT install, I do not have SWC or Bose, but I do have Onstar. For some reason the radio is shutting off every time I open the door, WITH THE ENGINE ON. I plugged in my OE radio to make sure it wasn’t my door switch, it stayed on. Any ideas?
I have a 2002 Bravada oldsmobile, even though it has Onstar system(Which is not activated and I do not require it) just as I would not mind not having the steering wheel controls, can I use the cheaper harness or do I require to use one that retains the steering wheel controls, also the speakers are not heard without the factory radio, with this harness will this be solved also?
I’ve attempted to wire up the harness as described but not getting power to the radio.
The link amazon don’t work?
Do I need both harness that’s are linked on description
Hi thanks for the vídeo one question what did you do with the other connector of the Bose radio?
Hey guys. Had a car audio guy install this as per your amazon links: but the unit wont turn off when I turn ignition off. I have to manually turn off the unit so it turns off and I dont kill my battery. Any ideas?!
Would a 6.8” fit the trailblazer 03-07 I think
Where’d the backup camera video go?
Hey Dude
05 Chevy Trailblazer Lt I would like to know where I can find that same radio system to replace the old radio with an aftermarket radio 📻 system in the SUV. Why do I ask I like it looks In the SUV. Could give me the model # I can find it on web site or here in the Houston TX area.
