Is that a model 10A? or BJ3? Either way, The petina looks awesome! Aged just to perfection! She’s a beauty! Always a thumbs up from me!

  2. D.j. B on November 9, 2021 at 7:12 pm

The spring assist on the Tri-Star is awesome!

  3. Benjamin Davidovich Waals on November 9, 2021 at 7:13 pm

    13:33 this is really cool

  4. John Gifford on November 9, 2021 at 7:13 pm

I like the release on the Stevens. It makes you get away from the "fire the gun" position to do it. I’m thinking the only reason to use that is to unload the gun, or take it out of battery for a malfunction. No need to have hands around the stuff that makes the gun fire for that kind of stuff.

    REM WOODSMASTER

  6. michael allen on November 9, 2021 at 7:14 pm

Pamalo state armory has a g force pump for 140 dollars right now. Very good beater shotgun

  7. pedro taco on November 9, 2021 at 7:15 pm

My dad has a Tri-Star over under and I was pretty impressed with the quality.

  8. RCT21985 on November 9, 2021 at 7:17 pm

Is that a modified Model 10?

  9. James Higginbotham on November 9, 2021 at 7:18 pm

I thought all Remington pump action shotguns were Model 870?

  10. Lone Wanderer on November 9, 2021 at 7:19 pm

Never had any trouble with my Maverick 88. I love it to pieces.

  11. Kasquaskannaché Hukapapánski on November 9, 2021 at 7:19 pm

You get what you pay for.

  12. Mark Fredrickson on November 9, 2021 at 7:20 pm

    Tristar is my stellar favorite.

  13. spirit on November 9, 2021 at 7:20 pm

I should of bought any of these over the weatherby i bought. Realized the front sight was off after getting home.

  14. Harry Tuttle on November 9, 2021 at 7:23 pm

The 88 , the 500 and 590 was and is hard to find in stock , so I bought a Escort Slugger for $175.00 .it Looks kind of like a Benelli Super Nova. It works and is smooth cycling .

  15. Zabian Vela Rex on November 9, 2021 at 7:23 pm

Do they rust easily? It doesn’t look like they would because of that blued finish… My 870 would flash rust so easily and I even oiled it plenty of times too.

  16. Spencer Brotherson on November 9, 2021 at 7:27 pm

I don’t know the model number of the Remington at the end, but my Dad had (may still have, I haven’t seen it in years) one just like that with what I presume was the longer non-cutdown barrel. It was one of the first shotguns I ever put to my shoulder, and the action was just buttery smooth. I loved that gun… Anyway, I have nothing to back this up, but from what he said they were designed as bird guns, but people liked to cut them down and/or thread the end of the barrel to use them as slug guns for deer or to use a tighter choke for turkeys and such. I shot his in the 1980s-’90s when I was in school. I’m pretty sure it was either his father’s or my Mom’s father’s gun originally, and it was still rock solid when I shot it.

  17. Jeff W on November 9, 2021 at 7:27 pm

As a cross dominant shooter. Left hand shouldering the gun that bolt release is perfect as a safety. I usually never use the safety but lock the action on an empty chamber. Then almost don’t have to think about it as I pick it up my trigger finger is right on the bolt release. Easy to release and rack the slide. On the Stevens import that is.
Some of those Turkish guns have plastic rear ghost ring sights, not something I like.

  18. jefftuckercfii on November 9, 2021 at 7:27 pm

I know I’m a few months late, but that looks like an Ithaca model 37 or similar from the downward eject. Very cool shotguns and it looks like you got a good deal on it.

Well, I was wrong. Never expected to see a Remington name on that gun. Now that I think about it, it could be a Model 10.

Just a week or so ago I had a student in my shotgun class who had a Browning BPS which is the same type of action (down eject). His had a tang safety like a Mossberg.

  19. BRYAN WYCHE on November 9, 2021 at 7:28 pm

Got the savage stevens 320 20 gauge with the ghost sites love it

  20. Eric and Erin Millers on November 9, 2021 at 7:29 pm

Model 17 design from a John browing ????

  21. tom bats on November 9, 2021 at 7:32 pm

Friend, something wrong with the sound on this video. Kind a hard on the ears. Extremely difficult to stay on. I hope you find what it is, before you lose everyone. Be good.

  22. Familjen Landberg on November 9, 2021 at 7:34 pm

Why close one eye when you aim with a shotgun always 2 eyes open when you shot shotguns

  23. Larry Floyd on November 9, 2021 at 7:35 pm

My first mossberg was my last,,it had issues right out the box!!!!

  24. David McGilvray on November 9, 2021 at 7:39 pm

I don’t like the idea of letting go of the weapon and only holding it with the fire hand with live gun.

  25. mirrorblue100 on November 9, 2021 at 7:39 pm

    Great video – thanks.

  26. Keith Hayes on November 9, 2021 at 7:40 pm

20+ years ago I bought a Mossberg 500 Slugger combo. Love it and have 0 issues with it. 10+ years ago got a H&R youth model 20gauge pump specifically for basement home defense. Well pleased and confident with either.

  27. Johnny BB Goode on November 9, 2021 at 7:41 pm

I choose the TriStar just from the table top review.

  28. Random Man on November 9, 2021 at 7:41 pm

These are great guns. I would like to say something about guns and cars. There is no gun or car that is made 100% in the USA, NONE. In fact, between 50% to 100% of guns and cars in the USA are made in foreign countries, especially China. Ford for instance 65% made in China.

  29. James Orth on November 9, 2021 at 7:44 pm

I have bought and sold over 20 Mossberg pumps (Mavericks and 500s) in the last four years.
They are very durable and trouble-free.
The only single thing I cannot like is the safety location on the Mav., but that is a personal thing. They just work, and when or if you need parts they are VERY CHEAP and available everywhere.

  30. mistalion1 on November 9, 2021 at 7:45 pm

ATA Arm is not actually this cheap. it has higher quality than its price. it is about the current currency adventage.

  31. Travis on November 9, 2021 at 7:46 pm

    is it a fieldmaster?

  32. Bikelife 973 on November 9, 2021 at 7:48 pm

Went to my local store and they had no mossbergs. I ended up going with the tri star combat 3 marine. So far i like it and really do like that assisted pump feature

I just picked up a mav88 and it ran like a champ. Lynx 12 is probably my favorite and can be found cheap still but u need to run hispeed shells for it to run proper. Got a civet12 that also takes saiga12 mags like the lynx and is a pump action but it was a piece of crap so i sold it. Got a stoeger m3k competition semi auto shotgun but that one was a lil mote pricey. Luv 12 gauge

  35. terry davis on November 9, 2021 at 7:53 pm

the maverick was an even better at 175 bucks

  36. Aviator101 on November 9, 2021 at 7:54 pm

  37. D.j. B on November 9, 2021 at 7:55 pm

Use to have a Maverick 88, It only had a handle, no stock! Sat in the corner above my bed for a decade! Great home defense tool!!! Every criminal dreads the sound of a 12 gauge cycling!!!

  38. mike craig on November 9, 2021 at 7:58 pm

Great demo and wring-out on the make/models. Like how you did this. Gonna do some checking on these. Can’t have too many S/Gs.

  39. Hippity Hoppity on November 9, 2021 at 8:02 pm

  40. journeyquest1 on November 9, 2021 at 8:02 pm

  41. Larry Floyd on November 9, 2021 at 8:03 pm

  44. D.j. B on November 9, 2021 at 8:06 pm

For instance, The Turkish tri-star, I realise that the pump gets in the way but, (could be easily fixed) I start wondering why It couldn’t be made to accept a mag?

  45. Nikos paleologos on November 9, 2021 at 8:06 pm

Turkish shotguns, like whiskey from Bangladesh
