    Welcome to the 458 SOCOM! Super awesome brush gun, nothing in North America will survive it including Sasquatch! However, that gun needs rebuilding bad. When you do, use an H3 Buffer. I use the Sprinco Orange spring in all of mine and it really tames it. Have fun:)

    If you order a shim kit and properly install that muzzle brake, the flash will go out to the side instead of blinding you in the scope. People standing next to you won’t appreciate the percussion, but maybe they should stand elsewhere lol. It’s a great round. Just ordered all the parts to build my 458 pistol for PDW, hogs, and deer.     Black Butterfly ammo sucks. Loaded by a bunch of tweakers. Dropped bullets that have flat sides and stuff.

    Love the sound of the cicadas in the background! That’s my most enduring memory of growing up in NC (that and being first in freedom, the first breech loader at the battle of Kings Mountain in the Revolutionary War, last to surrender in the War of Northern Aggression, BBQ is a noun not a verb), etc.

    Unless you’ve filled out form 1 designating that as a short barreled rifle be careful with that shoulder firing (at least publicly on YouTube). ATF is getting stupid right now with shoulder firing AR pistols even though their last memo on the matter said it was fine to occasionally and sporadically shoulder fire AR pistols.

    It’s effective for all needs.

    Psh 458 socom is a round developed by the DOD to solve the problem of needing less shots on to stop a combatant. And that is why I love it
