A last ditch boot knife designed for 5.11’s customer base of uniformed professionals and civilian firearms owners. This knife was designed by Mike Vellenkamp and Blade-Tech, for 5.11. The sheath allows for carry on the waist, neck, boot, or MOLLE webgear. The knife is solid, but honestly worth around $25 dollars, in my opinion. The sheath is very good and easily worth another $10. So the knife feels a bit overpriced, but that is not unusual these days. There are easily 30 different small fixed blades all competing in this same category.
Thanks!
Does anyone know why when I search for the 5.11 side pick; I cant find ANYTHING except the 5.11 SideKick; which is also an amazing blade and knife, too… But I do want a side pick but do not know where to find one; not even on 5.11.com
!
Thank you, buddy.
Huh
Thank you for another video! Keep them coming!
Nice knife but it is REALLY tight in the sheath.
You could go hunting for freaking eyeballs. thata going on a t-shirt love the review.
Good vid. Whihc would be your preference the CS Point Guard?
I’ve been eye balling the Point Guard. I like that the CS blade is almost 4"
I figured both would make good hot dog cutters. Too small for steak cutting. LOL
Where can I purchase one of these can you please let me know thank you
i got one of those from gander mtn for signing for a gander mtn credit card
I’ll see what I can do. I definitely recommend Wmpyr and MrFairwarning.
Hi Israel nice video as always. What do you think about the tops cockpit commander in the same role?a bit expensive? Have a look at the fox utk undercover. Bye.
Yes, I think they should have put some jumping all down the false edge, would help if you used it for utility like a scalpel.

been waiting to see this baby. thanks once again israel. hey 5.11 makes my clothes so they must make a kickass knife!!! lol
No prob, I always try to
I watch all you videos, you are the man, thanks
You can go hunting for freaking eyeballs! classic xD
+++++
great video!
Beautiful knife a review. I have a question, What is a last ditch knife?
Thanks :]
Pretty cool blade! AUS 8 steel is great IMHO – I use a Blackhawk Hornet 2 as an EDC and it stays beastly sharp! 5.11 is a great brand, but I would agree that some of their products are just too overpriced. Thanks!
I’d prefer the longer blade, if you can carry/conceal it.
Thank you for telling me!
Cool, I also have the Hornet II. Yes I think 5.11 benefits from the good reputation of its non-knife gear, a lot of people trust the name.
Precio en Mexico
I don’t think I’d put that thick sheath in my boot.
It says it’s supposed to work with Molly webbing as well but I can never seem to find a video that shows how to put it on right because I can’t seem to do it
Lolz, I have a 5.11 unmarked sheriff jacket too
it seems that knifecenter has it in stock now.
Thanks :]
It remind me in alot of ways of the SOCP Dagger. but perhaps more useful in a forward type grip be it saber or whatever. Where as the SOCP is a little me better suited, at least to me in a reverse grip.
Well said medium quality. Overpriced. I agree with Ryan the sheath is scary. I also thought it was a dagger until you ran your thumb on that false edge. Aaaahhhhh
Would like to know where I can purchase one of these Very nice I like it so where can I get one please comment back
Basically it is a "last resort" weapon to use to defend vs. certain injury or death. It is usually something small.
@WeAllJuggleKnives Yes a little more stabby!!
lol
I’m not sure of the weight but I would estimate the knife couldn’t weigh more than 3 ounces and the sheath maybe another 3.
There is a jack pyke knife in the uk its a mix of the 2 with the holes in them. For about £17. Good video
They should offer a double edged version for us purists!
The TOPS knife looks good. I’ve tried to get a Fox UTK a few months back, there are 2 versions of it, one longer than the other, but it was sold out.
