Why can’t we combine the smart scope with the gun so that the gun cannot be fired if pointed at someone or if someone tries to use the gun near to where children play or learn and will only fire if pointed at paper, metal or ceramic targets as we need to stop the wanton murder of innocent people and children and can be disabled remotely by the police if they deem it necessary.

    "inputted" lol

  3. mrcain on August 24, 2022 at 8:13 pm

Scope should be the range finder 🙂

  4. S W on August 24, 2022 at 8:14 pm

I am sorry by time you do all that work that deer or whatever is most likely gone at that point lol. Just get a 600 yeard scope and go for it at that point with good old knowledge

  5. Big Sean247 on August 24, 2022 at 8:15 pm

msrp is 599 for the scope only the kit is msrp is 839

  6. Jiajian Hou on August 24, 2022 at 8:16 pm

That sounds like in sniper games you get beginner mode vs veteran mode.

  7. Rfcdgaf on August 24, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Already been beat by trackingpoint. Pretty much you just give the rifle consent to fire, this sig bdx is old tech now

  8. Rep Vegas on August 24, 2022 at 8:19 pm

I hope the scopes in the future automatically calculate wind. Which even the iwatch does that.

  9. Glenn Roberts on August 24, 2022 at 8:19 pm

Honestly do you get reflectivity that good off fur??????

  10. mrfrosty3 on August 24, 2022 at 8:19 pm

I like the tech but can’t see this being popular beyond the look what this can do factor. When I think of what it would really be like out in the field with this set up it seems like a pain. A video of a person out hunting, seeing a critter then showing the whole process of using the system would be interesting.

  11. Joe Fryoux on August 24, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Bought rangefinder 2 weeks ago scope came in today

  12. Briarus HECATONCHEIRES on August 24, 2022 at 8:25 pm

my tank adjusted for wind 🙁

The antipope probably got tired of waiting and wander off before you can get everything entered.

  14. Chaplin on August 24, 2022 at 8:26 pm

I don’t know man. I’m holding out for heat seeking rounds to do all the work for me

  15. angellover91436 on August 24, 2022 at 8:29 pm

here is what I learned from this video, you don’t know how to do math, you are cheap buying the lowest model and complaining about the features that the higher model has, and u know nothing about technology.. good video

  16. ed johnson on August 24, 2022 at 8:29 pm

I’ve heard that this system does not work in temperatures °30 F >.

  17. Ghost Shadow on August 24, 2022 at 8:30 pm

Getting tired of the 4Patriots Power generator false claim adds thrown up on almost every gun channel.

  18. RGL on August 24, 2022 at 8:31 pm

Random question but is TFB monetized? Why did I get an ad when TFB isn’t getting paid for ads?

  19. Pollo DiGomma on August 24, 2022 at 8:31 pm

    aimbotting?

  20. baseballhaha on August 24, 2022 at 8:31 pm

I swear all my hobbies are starting to lose their touch. My motorcycle feels like a smartphone with a built in wheelie nanny. Everytime I fish everyone’s face down lookin at the graph. And now I gotta worry about some guy snaking a deer out from under me at 500 yards with some auto iPhone powered scope. Fuck I’m old

  21. n/a n/a on August 24, 2022 at 8:32 pm

How much does the range finder cost?

  22. Cattren Spresser on August 24, 2022 at 8:32 pm

    Sniper ghost warrior lol

  23. Eric Johnston on August 24, 2022 at 8:35 pm

    Antelope? Weird name for humans.

  24. Eric B. on August 24, 2022 at 8:35 pm

For hunting I’d much rather use the SIG Kilo3000 BDX binoculars. Much better than a BDX monocular.

  25. LoneWanderer360 on August 24, 2022 at 8:38 pm

Strelok works with over 1400 scopes, downloads weather automatically and Bluetooths to kestrel wind meters and others. Only $12. Just saying.

  26. ed johnson on August 24, 2022 at 8:39 pm

In rural parts of the West cell phones often don’t get signals.

  27. Matt Hellcat on August 24, 2022 at 8:46 pm

Be even cooler if range finder was built into scope.

  28. ADL OUTDOORS on August 24, 2022 at 8:46 pm

What scope mount are you using? Also, with that low powered scope, is it hard to see at 500 yards? I just got my cross in .308 and was thinking about 3bdx 6.5 20×52 as a hunting scope. Thanks!

  29. Robert PARIS on August 24, 2022 at 8:47 pm

wasn’t this more or less the burris eliminator?

  30. Lazaro Hernandez on August 24, 2022 at 8:49 pm

What scope mounting rings are those – if also sig – is it aloha 2 or 3?

  31. Robert Feldtz on August 24, 2022 at 8:51 pm

I got to use this at my local range that sig was hosting a demo. I hit shots 3/3 at 560 yds on a 12in plate. Never used that rifle before and have never shot further than 200 yds before. I was pretty amazed. I had targets at 200, 325, and 560 to choose from. I selected they synced I hit… the leveling leds were pretty cool too.

  32. Bill Smith on August 24, 2022 at 8:51 pm

You now can input the wind speed into the phone app and be able to update it manually and it will relay to the LRF and the scope.  You can also get through the cellphone local weather including wind from local radio stations automatically and it will input directly into the app and also update the LRF and the scope.

  33. Raghvendra Singh on August 24, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Does Sig716 have fully automatic firing mode??

  34. Fabien Bonvin on August 24, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Why the range finder isn’t integrated to the scope!!!

  35. tall glass of whiskey sauce on August 24, 2022 at 8:54 pm

  36. Zack Sutton on August 24, 2022 at 8:56 pm

  37. Stephen Kulawinski on August 24, 2022 at 8:58 pm

  38. Heres Johnny on August 24, 2022 at 8:58 pm

    Imagine this in warzone😱

  39. Razorbak on August 24, 2022 at 8:58 pm

I’ve been looking at these and doing the research to learn more about them for a few days now. I like them so good I just bought 2 of the 1400 series….but I did get an awesome deal on 2.

Off topic here but what scope mount is that? Gota have one!

  40. KRN762 on August 24, 2022 at 8:59 pm

    Where’s the fun in this?

  41. Mac on August 24, 2022 at 8:59 pm

Am looking to buy for 308 hunting and long ranged shooting which scope is best SIERRA6BDX 3-18x44mm or 5-30x56mm? Thanks

  45. Nomadic Wanderer on August 24, 2022 at 9:05 pm

    What bipod is that ?

  46. Fish Wranglers on August 24, 2022 at 9:05 pm

What if you are out hunting and you have no cell service??

  47. Randy Smith on August 24, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I purchased this system for my crossbow — short distances and no more hashmark gap shooting. Works great in that application. I’m with you on the wind hold indicator. Holding in empty space is uncomfortable. Not so much for the crossbow, but for LR shooting, absolutely. In a few years, the scope display will offer an entirely digital view with an indicator for a combined, exact elevation and wind hold. Take a look at modern electronic viewfinders in mirrorless cameras — data overlays at pixel levels.

I want to see a BDX software upgrade option provide a 5mph and 10mph wind dot after ranging a target. The scope is already holding your ballistic profile so this is an easy calculation. Yes, you’re still holding in space, but no more app required to enter a wind value in the field as long as you can interpolate between the dots for a wind hold. I’m not sure the current generation of scopes can accomplish this accurately enough because there are only 18 horizontal dots. That resolution is too low for a wind hold at long range. But out to 300-400 yard hunting distances with a high B.C. bullet, maybe so.

  48. Kenneth Rand on August 24, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I had a friend say this system sucked but then I asked him what he dialed in with and he said 6.5 creedmoor fmjbt 140 grain and he hunts with 6.5 creedmoor 123 grain eld match bullets. I told him that he was his own problem not the scope, to make his target loads the same as his hunting loads because the computer is going off the 140 grain loaf data and everyone knows heavy bullets drop faster.

  49. two23rem on August 24, 2022 at 9:08 pm

Haven’t these been on the market for 2 years now?

  50. Ben R on August 24, 2022 at 9:10 pm

Excellent video. It explained every question that I was wondering especially the windage display in the scope. Very little fluff I no stupid unboxing video. Thank you for the high-quality informational video.
