That’s all fine and dandy but I need some damn primers lol
Um… no thanks!
Can you please for the love of all that is holy terminate production of the 870 Express? It makes the best pump shotgun in the world look like garbage and I am sick of it. Also, whatever you are doing has made it impossible to buy your firearms in Canada. Can’t even get decent parts consistently.
I’ve been a Remington fan for my entire life and I’m almost 80. My last major Remington purchase was the Model 700 BDL Deluxe in 7mm Rem Mag. Hope you can resume producing firearms of this quality.
After The issues I’ve had with Remington rifles over the last decade, I’m likely going keep buying Tikka’s. They just work…every one I’ve ever owned…they just work.
Please improve quality and Americans will buy them.
Got good news for y’all! Want a Remington product but want quality? There’s already better companies out there. Bergara, Winchester, Mossberg, Beretta, Tikka, and many many more companies make far superior products still at a great price.
I wish them all the luck. As a kid in the late 70s early 89s I wore out two shotguns…a friend of mine who shot a lot more than I did ,had an 870 Remington. He’s still hunting with it that same shotgun today.
My last rifle from Remington sufferes from poor quality control. Every extracted case is scratched /marred from ththe chamber. It was a gift from my wife so I can’t really sell it. Very sad to see their downfall. Don’t know if I will every trust them again.
Well, I’m glad they’re still in business, they are a Big Piece of American History.
Having said that, I hope they have their Shit Squared Away.
Good Luck.
Make good quality rifles, shotguns and ammo. NEVER try making a handgun ever again. Good luck.
Rem Arms will be a case study used in MBA schools 5 years from now: either how to turn a company around or how to continue to fail. The firearms market is crowded with quality product; Rem Arms is not one of them. Think of quality handguns which are affordable: glock, S&W, Ruger, Springfield. Quality and affordable rifles: Tikka, TC compass, Ruger American, etc. Shotguns: hard to beat a Winchester SX4 for $800 that cycles everything (has browning gas system) or a Berretta A300. I’m really not sure why anyone would buy a Rem Arms. I made the mistake of buying an 11-87 a few years ago; chamber was so ruff it would not extract a fired shell; literally jammed on the 1st round fired; I had to buy two different grit chamber hones to fix it myself. How does Rem Arms plan to compete? Low cost is not the answer – low cost options already exist.
Yet you put out this video with a dude using a 50 year old teacupping grip on his pistol. That right there has fudd written all over it.
Instead of introducing new products, how about fixing the current ones (et tu, Remington 870)?
Glad you’re back get some good Rifles shotguns and pistols Out to us the handguns could make or break you all the best love my 742 and 1911enhanced
Congratulations on a new company no I cannot support your company or anything that is branded Remington. I purchased a 7 mm Rem Mag Remington 700 ADL from a local Walmart and had nothing but problems. Multiple attempts to register and get service and all attempts have failed. I would love to be a loyal Remington customer, but unless Remington or Rim arms is willing to stand up and take care of its customers, I cannot be a customer. I feel Remington has left me high and dry abandon me as a customer. They gladly took my money for a faulty firearm and have refused to stand behind it. Yes I would love to see this change but at this point in time I cannot support this company. Buyer beware
We would LOVE to See you guys bring the ACR back to market!
Canada nead Remington ammo !!!
MIM parts and all. Horrible fit and finish, and replacement parts needed right out of the box= No thanks!
If your company is truly up and running again then I need a couple of extra mags for my 1952 pristine Model 760 in .35 Remington I’ve tried to gain access to your parts site and it was a no go for me Make sure you give access to people who need parts I will try again
How about hiring some legitimate QUALITY CONTROL.
does soros still own this comp?/freedom grope
until you chamber 6.5 prc in a upper end 700 I won’t be interested
❤❤
I just bought some Remington 140gr core lokt 6.5x 55 ammunition and measured it. .007” runout in concentricity and a variation of .019” base to ogive cartridge length!
Unless they fired the $hitty Union workers that put the $hitty guns out the doors their problems aren’t going away. Never gonna buy their crap ever again.
What good are your firearms with no ammo. If your ready let’s see some Remington ammo on the old standard calibers on the shelves. Not just catering the new buttercups ammo because they have bought all these off breed calibers.!!!!!
Time will tell but I’m 70 years old and started getting into firearms last year. I hope Remington can return to quality and success but in the mean time I won’t buy a Remington firearm. I hope however to be an ammunition customer. Best hope that you will return to being an iconic American brand.
WHERE’S THE AMMO AT DECENT PRICES???????????
maybe they hired someone who knows what quality is!
Think only 1 that I would buy is their older pump rifle or shotgun that was built before the 1990s.
Dont get used to him, next year a new CEO. Stop putting out half baked products. You want customers back, loose the dramatics and music and stand up like a man and tell us we know Remington quality was bad, we are not letting that happen anymore now that I’m running the show. People will be retrained and no item will leave this factory like a 6 year old in a cave built and finished it.
Find another John Browning to design new guns for your company
They’ll probably run this company into the ground making cheap shit again. I’m glad I bought my Remington’s when they made quality firearm & not Cheap crap.
Please don’t forget to make #10 percussion caps, imo they’re the best. They’re like golden unicorns right now. Glad to see y’all bouncing back, hopefully the quality over all will bounce back too
What good is a new gun if you can’t get any ammunition
I remember when the name Remington meant quality from the 1100s, 1187 premiers, 870 wingmasters, 700 rifles with beautiful wood. Heck I was just looking at my 1187 Premier and my 572 fieldmaster .22 pump and was thinking wow our kids will never know out of the box beauty of nice blued steel and nice walnut stocks. All black parkerized steel and stocks made out of fuzzy pisselm. Its sad I used to believe Remington was a top shelf quality company. Now I will NEVER purchase a new Remington. No longer are they even a middle of the road company. There is a reason the went belly up 2 times. Remington use to be a wow brand now its a brand stick my nose up at. Its sad. Congrats I’d rather have a Hi-Point.
Times have changed in the rifle world . Can’t keep using legacy to sell product . Remington has some of the best platforms to build great rifles . Other clone company’s like bergara have takin your platform and has built great rifles . Time to catch up. Model 700 with a 60 degree throw bolt . Better extractor. Quit using shit stocks . Just some suggestions. Could go on and on and on……………. You need gun guys to build guns plain and simple
bring back the quality
Shit i wish i could bring you my dads( God rest his soul) 700 from the 80’s and show you how far your craftsmanship has went down hill . That gun still screams bullets
Glad Remington is back. I bought my first Remington 700 back in 1992 in the USA and brougth it back to my home in Switzerland and still using it. In the last 10 years, quality get wors and Remington was trying the keep up with cheap supplier like Savage and so on. You introduced some cheap models with low quality, flimsy plastic stocks. If plastic stock, yes but than good quality stocks. As professional Marketing guy, in may opinion it was wrong. You have not to be the cheapest, but if you want to play in the higher priced area, you have to have good quality product. So you will be able to sell it even in Europe. That is only a tip from a professional Marketing guy in pension and right now a professional shooting teacher out of Switzerland.
Iam the proud owner of a few Remingtons. Most are over 50 years old. go and pick one up and you can feel the quality of work that went into something that has lasted this long.go to eny gun store or pawn shop, find one that has not been abused.and you will see what i mean. Remington has been a hallmark of a American firearms brand.Butt, your quality over the last decades has been lacking. From your ammo to your firearms and other things you putt your name on. Remington used to stand for quality. Please get that mind set back.
Propaganda…It’s all we get anymore…Semper Gumby…stay flexible.
I’m cautiously optimistic. My last shotgun was the first non-Remington I ever purchased (a Beretta A300 which is awesome). I hope this new company walks it’s talk.
Seeing a quality Remington product is believing, so until I actually see quality products being produced, sorry, I’ll reserve judgment. Remington Quality Control standards were really bad for a long while. That was a significant cause for their demise and the piecemealing of their divisions.
Ok Remington.
You see the comments.
If you’re really back…you don’t have to say a thing.
Build the best there is, and the word will get around.
Word of mouth advertising is the best you can have…and the least expensive.
Or, as you read here, the worst…and the most costly.
I have enough guns. Just get me some ammunition!!
Not gonna lie, I want yall to be successful, but quality needs to go back to pre 2000 levels, even if it costs a little more.
Make the most of the opportunity you have been given.
Hopefully they get their qc up. Can’t even remember all the flopped handguns that came out of that company in the last few years. I’m glad they’re back though. The industry would be empty feeling without them. I just hope they up their game
They make a couple shotguns that are goods and some ammo, and some pistols there are small companies that sell stupid high amounts of ar’s like anderson. Its fine ill remember remington the old way becuase this Rem-arms nonesense isnt gonna go far. i have seen turkish shotguns that are 150 bucks now that work better than a 150 year old company like remington has made within the past few years. Just go back to the way it was. Smith and wesson hasnt had any problems and is as old as this company, thier investing 125 million in my home state of tennesee it doesnt seem like you gonna last long remington.
