What selector switch is on your single stage ar? I like that thumb nob but I can’t find it anywhere.

Great video you have done! Sub now fo sho:))). Hey a few questions for you. If I am looking for mainly accuracy instead of high speed, what would be some med to higher end trigger groups that someone with very low patience levels (ok skill though) could “drop in” too a nice AR and a decent AR? Probably two stage from what your saying? I also have a CMMG Banshee 10mm that I flipping love but trigger, it blows. So looking for trigger for that guy too. Maybe not one quite so hair, but certainly nice and light. Trigger creep just makes my skin crawl, but I have a little more tolerance for a resets that could be shorter, but not that I like that either! Lol. Who does eh? Any advice would greatly appreciated.! Cheers

So…two stage trigger functions like staging the pull on a dao revolver

  8. Dayton Durden on September 23, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Is binary and two stage the same thing?

  9. TheMattd546 on September 23, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Thanks! I wasn’t sure what it was.

thanks for explaining, i want to update my AR-15 trigger (ruger 556) in a budget style rifle i feel this would be the best bang for the buck 😉 as I’m looking for better groups and control so I would go with a 2 stage, pretty sure im going with the LaRue

  12. John Francis on September 23, 2022 at 8:51 pm

I have a 2 stage I done with not take up

  13. Roger L on September 23, 2022 at 8:52 pm

What safety is that on your single stage AR?

  14. todd long on September 23, 2022 at 8:55 pm

Hey brother good vid ty .A single stage trigger is for accuracy as found on hunting rifles . Two stage is more for war and taking your time.

So like a Glock with a pull back to the threshold.

I feel if its light enough n smooth enough to shoot fast the tight groups is a you problem

  18. J C on September 23, 2022 at 8:59 pm

The best explanation of this I’ve ever seen, thank you 👏👏👏

  19. John Carlos on September 23, 2022 at 9:00 pm

I don’t get it. Why is it not a double stage? Or why is it not one stage? Great video!! 👍

How to know the correct bolt carrier group when buying one online?

  24. Christian Uploads on September 23, 2022 at 9:02 pm

I like 2 stage but to say that single stage is "not for tight groups, its close range and slinging lead" is not right. My subjective preference aligns with yours but your video is very popular and our preference shouldnt drive the market like truth. Bolt action rifles, the hunter’s delight, aren’t 2 staged per se and they are tasked with accuracy and long distance, a far cry from what you say.

I agree with you 100% on the preference. Nothing to sell me that I don’t already have. Just the facts (your drawing) are getting mixed in with opinion and people are coming here empty headed and maybe with bulging wallets looking for knowledge and direction.

Great example. 180° different that James Yeagers example. Who’s correct?
    I think you are.

  28. UmbraWins on September 23, 2022 at 9:05 pm

Appreciate the simple, to the point video. So many other videos out there try to drag this out into a 20min thing

  29. Daniel Richard on September 23, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I only have one rifle with a true single stage trigger. All other "single-stage" triggers I own still have a noticeable/repeatable wall before the break and understandably the two-stage trigger design builds off of that dynamic by creating much larger/definite feelings/contacts.

  30. Jim Thorne on September 23, 2022 at 9:07 pm

Really simple and clear explanation. Thanks!

  31. Dave Camp on September 23, 2022 at 9:07 pm

Just came across this video……..it’s STILL A GREAT VIDEO!!!!

  32. Nomad on September 23, 2022 at 9:09 pm

Oh Shoot this dude is with Umbrella!

This was helpful as I want my rifle to shoot like an m&p 2.0. If it’s for defense I wanna know I didn’t misfire. It happens to the best of us

I use that charging handle- the radian raptor.
    Very nice.

  36. Stjepan Suman on September 23, 2022 at 9:12 pm

Pictures on the paper seems to be mixed. Only, that with upward slope has to be without "stop" and it will represent single stage.
The high wall one will represent two stage

  37. Ce Phelps on September 23, 2022 at 9:12 pm

That help so much brah you made it California High School Proof hahahaha thanks for the vid

  38. Mookieh on September 23, 2022 at 9:15 pm

  39. General Rambo on September 23, 2022 at 9:15 pm

How about a sear reset demonstration

  40. tellitlikeitis on September 23, 2022 at 9:15 pm

I would have thought that the “surprise break” to be more “surprise" with a single stage. As opposed to slight continuous increase in Trigger pull until the anticipated break.

  41. HighOnBusa on September 23, 2022 at 9:16 pm

Very poor explanation of a single/double stage trigger… take up HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT

  42. Status world on September 23, 2022 at 9:22 pm

    Can u make blueprint video?

  43. Tam Midkiff on September 23, 2022 at 9:23 pm

Ever use a CZ set trigger? When I touch the trigger, I expect recoil.

  47. desert4wheeling on September 23, 2022 at 9:27 pm

Great explanation video. Also because you did it in 4 minutes. I hate the 20 min vids to explain the same crap

  48. Paul smith on September 23, 2022 at 9:28 pm

Ok you said the gessie? ( how ever you spell it) isn’t accurate. Just to throw lead. I’ve used the standard trigger for year and have been able to hit constantly. So to say a single stage is fast and not accurate is a pile of bull zhit. Maybe learn how to use your rifle frist. And polymer lower just in there nature not as accurate as a 7075 lower. Thanks and have a great day.
