I’ve had glocks and high points. I sold my Glock 10mm not very accurate but reliable. Traded my High Point 9mm for tattoo work, also not very accurate but reliable, better than throwing rocks at a perp. I went back to Ruger wheel guns GP 100 .357 magnum, and Ruger LC9s for carry. Both very accurate and extremely reliable. To each their own I guess.

The operation is not terrible. I think the main issue/ problem people have is if you don’t insert the magazine fully it will not fire (as it shouldn’t )because of the mag safety. Fortunately in todays market you can get something like a Taurus G2C or G3C for about 75-100.00 more.

If you put some money back into the channel instead of your toys, you’d be able to afford a windsock, then you wouldn’t have to apologise for the wind!!!!

  10. D Goody on May 8, 2023 at 4:18 am

Thank you for being honest about the High Point. It was the first gun I bought and it’s awesome, I had a Ruger P 89 pistol that wasn’t even close to as accurate as that High Point still have it today.

  21. Tactical Crew Chief on May 8, 2023 at 4:33 am

Dude Hi Point wouldn’t be in business if you couldn’t cycle one mag… there not bad guns. You just hear people bash them cuz their ugly and cheap. Shows how really inexperienced Justin is with firearms. “ I didn’t think it would cycle once.” Haha dude…. Many of people have taken permanent dirt naps from HiPoints

  27. Superman 199 on May 8, 2023 at 4:41 am

That was the first handgun I bought, as a broke 21yr old. I wouldn’t bet my life on it, but I can’t complain for the amount I paid for it.

  28. john whitaker on May 8, 2023 at 4:42 am

  32. The Osprey on May 8, 2023 at 4:46 am

A good cheaper gun manufacturer is Bersa. The only time I’ve had to discharge a firearm in self defense was with a Bersa and it worked like a fucking champ. It was an attacking Pit Bull and he didn’t make it.

  33. Kevin Keener on May 8, 2023 at 4:46 am

Justin kills me man, will critique the sh*t outta the camera angle a 100 times in a video or ask Amy a thousand times if they are in the shot. (At which they are but always just way to far away from the camera) But won’t stop talking when the wind is blowing 60mph. 🤦🏻 Dude is definitely a Goofy.

Federal data shows that handguns are the most common murder weapon, used in more than half of all homicides that involve firearms. But rifles, such as the AR-15, are becoming more frequently used.

Rifles, such as the assault-style rifle used by a gunman at a mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois, are becoming more frequently used, federal data shows.
Rifles, such as the assault-style rifle used by a gunman at a mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois, are becoming more frequently used, federal data shows.
Nearly 4% of firearm homicides in 2021 involved a rifle, killing 447 people, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. That’s more than twice as many deaths and nearly twice as common compared to firearm homicides in 2015.

Mass shootings have become recurrent in the United States. So far this year, the country has experienced 146 mass shootings — using the definition of four or more people shot or killed, not including the shooter — according to the Gun Violence Archive, a non-profit group.
