We ve been to Austria-Bad Mitterndorf like a week ago for 4 days and i ve wondered what gun laws Austria has… then i saw your videos when i looked on your channel. You explained it really well and clear! 😀 In Slovakia we dont have such strict magazine capacity restrictions,we can have 30 round mags in rifles ( i think even more) or even in pistols and pistol carbines. But we have strict mod and attachment rules like absolutelly no suppressors and performance mods. Here you need license also for cat. C. We also have a D category for what you dont need license for, which contains exapanse (blank firing)guns, acoustic guns (like starting pistols on sport events) air rifles within 15J of power and airsoft guns that run on CO2/Gas and old black powder weapons and basically everything you dont need a firearms license for, also like muzzle loaded rifles, flintlocks, but you cant buy a powder without a license, same as you mentioned in Austria. We also can get full auto weapons with special license called "arming license" or "gunsmithing license" i dont know how to literally translate it to english. I got my license earlier this year for carry, sport shooting and for my work and i am happy for it,but many laws that i had read about firearms here are absolute nonsense that blew my mind how illogical and unnecessary they are…. such as i mentioned "abolutelly no suppressors" law…. like…whyyyy? 😀 Czechs have it allowed, but i think politicians in my country (and many others in EU)probably thought suppressors make guns sound quiet like a dart blower 😀 Anyways…great video!

I’m not sure if that was an Austrian Sesame Street or a bad cheerleader attempt. Either way I’m both amused and revolted. Thank God you’re not German otherwise there might have been some cross-dressing and pom poms! But hey I don’t judge (too harshly) 🤣
