If the cops went after dangerous criminals it would cutting into their own illegal business. Besides they might get hurt dealing with dangerous criminals… the public is well trained and will roll over without a fight… easy pickens. If they cleaned up crime you wouldn’t keep handing them more and more money every year. It’s a part of people farming.
