i like your stuff and you seem to enjoy a Beretta or two which is also commendable. as an 8 year army veteran i have handled a ton of secondaries and i liked the apx so much i bought every model lol……………………….. then i modded them bahaha. Beretta is a solid manufacturer point blank (no pun intended) however now i am looking into an M9 A3. just want to know if its worth it.

I remember watching a video where someone explained that the 92A1, although it looks like the 92FS with some upgrades from the M9A1, has a much bulkier slide. When they tried sliding the 92FS unto the 92A1 frame, it was much smaller. The opposite was impossible, because the 92A1 was bulkier and the front of the slide was hitting against the front of the frame.

The way I understand it, the 92A1 was an upgraded civilian version of the M9A1; at least in Europe. Nowadays, it also has the same front sight as the M9A3 (those square looking ones which are replaceable, unlike the ones in the video which are like the 92FS).

GREAT VIDEO. I would love a discussion with you. I am waiting to pickup a 92A1 with a threaded barrel

Wilson combat has fluted metal guide rods for less than $30

  8. Maddog8148 on February 25, 2023 at 2:32 am

Is you M9A3 made in Italy or the USA?

  9. Jeffrey Woodall on February 25, 2023 at 2:32 am

    Are those slides interchangeable?

  10. Contact Info on February 25, 2023 at 2:33 am

Good review. The desert color is nice.

  11. Paulie M on February 25, 2023 at 2:34 am

The slide on your 92A1 sounds smoother than glass. 10000 rounds through it… 92s are my favorite pistols as well. Love my M9A3, just bought an LTT 92 Compact

  12. KillerSpace2726 on February 25, 2023 at 2:36 am

I was bouncing between an SP-01 and a 92A1 for a bit, but after watching many video reviews, the A1 is for sure the winner. Soon, hopefully!

  13. SpadeTrump on February 25, 2023 at 2:37 am

The problem I have with the m9 series. it is made in the United States. I have worked in the United States for 25 years now. So many sloppy lazy workers I have seen. Any way. The only USA made Beretta I ever bought? The trigger bar broke. In a class. embarrassing. I got it replaced and SOLD it. now I use ITALLIAN made 92A1 with lots of upgrades. lol. Langdon Trigger bar is the must have item.

  14. Timothy Queen on February 25, 2023 at 2:38 am

I can get the A3 here in the states for $850 but this video is three years old. The A3 is my choice.

  15. chris hensley on February 25, 2023 at 2:38 am

If you go to Willson combat you can get a new Guide rod and flap spring for your 92a1 that will improve your recoil. You can also get an extra buffer that will help protect your frame .

  16. Casca4795 on February 25, 2023 at 2:39 am

THE ITALLIAN MADE 92 IS A TACK DRIVER..THE M9 IS CRAP.
I WORKED SPEC OPS WHERE A ROUND EXACTLY WHERE IT SHOULD BE WAS..LIVES DEPENDED ON 100% ACCURACY

  17. el mecánico on February 25, 2023 at 2:39 am

No getting the superior grip ergonomics on the A3, Lose those weight watchers grips on the 92A1 & convert it to a G variant.

  18. Riley Alexander on February 25, 2023 at 2:40 am

Will the a3 slide fit on the 92a1?

  19. Sanfedista13 on February 25, 2023 at 2:47 am

Which do you recommend between the 92A1 and the 92x and why? It would have a mounted light and be used for the range and possibly home defense. Thank you!

  20. Chris Singh on February 25, 2023 at 2:48 am

hmmm, I think the 92FS is still better than both!

  21. scott2228 on February 25, 2023 at 2:49 am

Doing a lot of research on the diff 92s. Is there a diff between the 92x and the A1?

  22. Lenny Winbox on February 25, 2023 at 2:49 am

It’s 2021, where do you get a good price on ammo?

  23. Elon Musk on February 25, 2023 at 2:51 am

Upgrade your 92A1 with Wilson Combat parks.

  24. Yungballz on February 25, 2023 at 2:52 am

    Wish I could find a 92A1. It’s like they’ve all just disappeared

Glad I picked a 92A1 as my first handgun. Came with everything I needed. The case, 3 magazines, a speed reloader, the instruction manual and the cleaning wire brush and other cleaning material. Heavy and solid. Very impressed. Italian made model.

  28. Salvo Complicazioni on February 25, 2023 at 2:57 am

    Ciao, complimenti!

    Grazie!

  29. The Shameless Infedel on February 25, 2023 at 2:57 am

I’ve shot over 15,000 with my Beretta 92a1 and I haven’t had any malfunctions at all. I love it.

  30. Tom Olofsson on February 25, 2023 at 2:57 am

Thanks for the history lesson. I had an Italian Army trade-in and just traded up to an M9a3.

  31. Replace Soundboard on February 25, 2023 at 2:59 am

I was rewatching the video with automatic Youtube subtitles, and at 23:05 when you pulled the slide back, it called it *[Music]*

I see youtube has nice taste in music

  32. Dragunov38 H on February 25, 2023 at 3:01 am

My 92a1 was my first and true love… The weapon is built to outlast you, and while it has drawbacks, these can be corrected with minor upgrades at a lower price point. The best upgrade for mines, was just like you with those hogue grips. (love them) They made the gun just have that "tailored" fit for my medium size hands. I also dropped a Wilson Combat Hammer spring to a lower tension. Made that double action trigger pull much more acceptable. Thank you for in the in depth reviews.

  33. Massimiliano on February 25, 2023 at 3:04 am

Hi, greetings from Italy ! Great video! I also love the 92 A1 and gonna buy it soon; after how many shots is it advisable to replace the locking block to keep the pistol reliable ? thanks

  34. ekim con on February 25, 2023 at 3:04 am

Did putting all those rounds thru the a1 throw you off when shooting a3? To me they point so different and the a3 doesnt point right for me

  35. Puffer Fish on February 25, 2023 at 3:05 am

Based on your review, I acquired 92A1 from my local shop. I am a big Berretta fan too, one thing I totally agreed with you, they are not cheap lol. Both great guns. I am gonna only eat fast food for the rest of the month until my next pay cheque, but hell it was well worth it! Thanks man

  36. Jason Bourne on February 25, 2023 at 3:06 am

What frustrates me the most about my commercial M9 is that I can’t control the mag release without slightly tilting the gun. I had to purchase an extended one from LTT. Other than that I’m absolutely in love with this gun.

  38. Agent OranJ on February 25, 2023 at 3:07 am

I learned a few things about Berettas that other presentations skipped over, thank you.

  39. ERT-711 on February 25, 2023 at 3:10 am

Thanks for the review. Both are awesome. In my 92A1, I installed a LTT enhanced trigger bar ( $72) and a 12# D Hammer Spring ($8) and now da/ sa and reset are superb. With 80 dollars , the trigger is superior to the M9A3 stock, IMHO. The M9A3 is in my wish list. I bought the 92x Performance, that wasn’t on my list, but for $1000, it was hard not to buy it. Thanks

  40. Moon on February 25, 2023 at 3:12 am

    Comparing these two doesn’t make sense… compare the 92fs M9a1 to the 92fs m9a3

  41. castercamber on February 25, 2023 at 3:13 am

M9 owner here, 15 round mags. Freedom still rules here in Indiana. (Good handgun comparison sir)

    What’s the POA/POI of both the M92A1 and M9A3?

  49. Johnny 44 on February 25, 2023 at 3:19 am

Using a suppressor is a good reason to buy the A3….

  50. Sif Artorious on February 25, 2023 at 3:22 am

Do the m9a3 mags fit the 92fs ?
