Beretta 92FS vs Glock

Beretta 92FS vs Glock

Shooting and comparing two of the most common pistol models we might have or be shopping for, the Beretta 92FS and the Glock 19. This video is simply my impressions of the difference between the famous Beretta 92FS and the Glock. It’s not a “service pistol” comparison, or I would have tried to borrow a G17. It’s more a comparison between the formats and two very popular guns. The main difference between the G17 and G19 is that it’s a bit longer in slide and grip; thickness is same as the G19. The G19 will take the G17 magazines, of course.

The Berreta’s are smooth feeling, action, trigger just great all around.
    I like Glocks too.

  3. Northeast Survival 911 on March 11, 2023 at 2:44 am

I’m a bit biased on this one. A friend of mine has like literally 9 or 10 Glocks and they’re all different but to me they’re all the same. I mean they all look alike. Just looking at them I can’t tell which is which I mean I can pick out the 45 cuz it’s quite a bit larger but I mean.. for the polymer Wonder guns they’re great they’ve been around for quite some time they’re reputable. Nothing wrong with them.

Beretta has been manufacturing firearms for what… like 450 years? Need I say anything else?

  4. Ron Matson on March 11, 2023 at 2:48 am

3:20 how can you say the grip is better but not the trigger, within 2 pounds of eachother but it’s not a striker squish,it feels like a trigger break

  5. gio s on March 11, 2023 at 2:48 am

    Beretta 92 all the way.

  6. Scott Gauley on March 11, 2023 at 2:49 am

Most of my friends at church have Glocks, I’m the odd man out who has the Beretta 92FS. When they found out I got a Beretta you should have seen their eyes light up. Clearly, even the Glock owners secretly wished they had a Beretta.

  7. Charley Walker on March 11, 2023 at 2:51 am

I’ll take the Glock anyway of the week.

  8. Doug Thompson on March 11, 2023 at 2:51 am

I love my 92FS. That said, I have a Glock 19 And as ugly as it is it equal in terms of service and shooting. I do not find either hard to shoot but I also do not compete. I carry the Glock and keep the 92FS at home. My home protection gun is 1911. Partly because it’s a 45 and it just looks scary when I point it. And mostly because it will stop whatever it hits right now.

The India army use the beretta

  10. Randy Meyers on March 11, 2023 at 2:53 am

One thing to consider about the Glock is that there seem to be a lot more after market accessories and holsters for the Glock than the beretta. Say for example there exists a 120 round dual drum mag for the Glock where as all IVe found online for my. Beretta is a 50 round single drum magazine. Wish there was a dual drum mag I could purchase for my Beretta 92fs that held 100-120 rounds like the Glock.. even though I can’t legally own one here in the stuck up state of Illinois due to BS CAPACITY LAWS HERE.

I always come back to this video every now and then and I enjoy watching it being that I own these 2 great pistols and in my opinion they are the 2 very best combat/duty 9mm handguns.
    🙂💪👍
I also like the Sig Sauer P226 alot but these guns here are my absolute favorites.

  12. William White on March 11, 2023 at 2:55 am

Yes the 92fs has a 30 rd magazine and it shoots well.

  13. john smith on March 11, 2023 at 2:55 am

army no proper training you get 15 mim to look then shoot 5 rounds even rifle sight in to many people so lets rush them through bolo ok with command officers..

  14. Brian T on March 11, 2023 at 2:57 am

Berettas are beautiful and cool, but for a work gun I’ll take the Glock 19.

  15. scooby doo it on March 11, 2023 at 2:59 am

Glocks are beautifully designed and a decent gun.,get an extended Magazine fire the gun,you would be supervised it’s unbelievable!!!!

  16. Steven Hamlin on March 11, 2023 at 3:01 am

You look young here nowadays. I like your comparison you leave it in fire. Wilson combat can fix your decocker.

  17. Storm Trooper on March 11, 2023 at 3:02 am

You can use either for either, but in general, the Glock is a self defense and police pistol, where as the Beretta is a combat pistol.

  18. Uncle Dave on March 11, 2023 at 3:02 am

Wouldn’t it be more fair of a comparison to go Beretta 92FS vs. Glock 17? For me, it’s the Beretta hands down, no contest. I had 3 G19s, two Gen 2s and a Gen 3 and I was thrilled to get rid of them. Three turkeys with nothing but hang-ups and striker pin malfunctions. I hate the G19 but loved my Gen 4 G20 10mm. Gen 4 is the way to go, Gen 5 brings almost nothing new, deletes the finger groove, which I like and give you that amb slide lock release, which Glock is notorious for have horrible, factory sights, slide lock releases and triggers. Glock should put a striker fire thumb safety like on the S&W Shield or Springfield or Ruger models. I like the full size Glocks not the compacts or minis. You rule Hickcock 45, one of the best shots since Billy the Kid, would be fun to have a shooter on you range one day if I’m in Tennessee.

  19. tmcorey1 on March 11, 2023 at 3:05 am

Please, PLEASE Beretta make a 10mm version of the P92fs. Or .45acp. 🙏

  20. Les Hemby on March 11, 2023 at 3:06 am

Your dog can’t chew up the Beretta

  21. George Lomax on March 11, 2023 at 3:06 am

I love the Beretta’s characteristics and fit of the gun in my hand having a larger grip. Never fired a Glock before but have friends that claim they are a great gun as well. Thanks for the comparison!

  27. Aaron Mitchell on March 11, 2023 at 3:17 am

Is there any difference in grip between using the Beretta or the Glock?

  28. Steven Hunter on March 11, 2023 at 3:17 am

Glock looks like a brick, and shoots like stuburn mule.
The Beretta looks like a beautiful woman. The action is smooth as butter.
Beretta is hands down the better fire arm. Expecially since I found 18+1 mags for my 92fs.

  29. David Curlee on March 11, 2023 at 3:17 am

Thanks for the review. I owned a Beretta 92fs years ago.. The only malfunction I ever had was shooting 9mm Rusian ammo I found cheap as all ammo shortage at the time. I test fired Glock 17, 22 and 23 for our department. Glock 22 won. Beretta was not even considered. I retired and bought a Beretta px4storm .40 I love it. Beretta for life.

Owned Beretta since 1986, like a old glove

  32. David on March 11, 2023 at 3:21 am

I remember watching this video when I was 11 and now I have both of these guns

  33. Raymond Proulx on March 11, 2023 at 3:21 am

I’d love to see a real evaluation between the Beretta M9 and the Sig P226. My personal experience with both has me leaning towards the Sig as the better pistol. I know the M9 has a huge fan base and those people are very passionate about their M9s. Everything I have read about the military trials says the M9 decision was purely over cost. What about a head to head between these pistols in the future?

  34. Robert Judy on March 11, 2023 at 3:26 am

Why does he not compare the Beretta Centurion to the Glock? They are closer in size

  35. David Scott on March 11, 2023 at 3:27 am

Didn’t you compare a mid size to a full size? You make the Beretta sound like a DE. I would be more comfortable carrying the Beretta due to all the ADs with shooters carrying the Glock. I’ve seen you holster a fully cocked Sig in your vids. Sorry sir but I’d prefer the Beretta for carry.

    Profesyonel.. super schuz. Profi 👍

  43. Richy’s Out of Order Cigars on March 11, 2023 at 3:33 am

Beretta – perfect out the box
Glock – orders new barrel, orders new slide , order new sights , orders new mag release ,
Side note – the beretta issues were not berettas fault and the sued the US Government and won . The unit was using proof or almost proof loads for range testing . No pistol would hold up to constant proof load usage .

  44. James Sawchuk on March 11, 2023 at 3:34 am

Shot the Beretta in the Navy. Didn’t care for the sights. Haven’t tried the Glock yet.

  45. Charley Walker on March 11, 2023 at 3:35 am

  46. Jonathan Grandt on March 11, 2023 at 3:36 am

Open carry that beretta with a drop thigh holster. Hehehehhh.

  47. Chase on March 11, 2023 at 3:38 am

I carry a Beretta 92FS and I will say it is heavy and holsters are hard to come by in my area for some reason but it is a extremely durable and reliable gun. I have longer fingers so it fits my hands 10x better than a Glock does.

  48. D Fire on March 11, 2023 at 3:39 am

I wish this was my grandpa.

  49. Erik Bakken on March 11, 2023 at 3:41 am

Is my beretta m9 and the 92fs the same design

  50. Some Guy on March 11, 2023 at 3:42 am

Beretta looks much cooler but also much heavier, kittle less reliable and same precise as a glock. So if real shit happens I prefer to have ugly glock with me
