Thanks for the comparison. I always wondered what they were.
Do you shoot one better than the other at a range?

You need to improve the quality of the video.

  7. nycupperes on December 25, 2022 at 12:59 am

Does the M9 also have a plastic guide rail? I swapped mine out for metal on my 92fs.

  8. alexit7 on December 25, 2022 at 1:01 am

    well..finally i know it ! thank you man, .

  9. Big Front Wheel on December 25, 2022 at 1:02 am

ok, I got 3, M9, 15 rnd. mags sitting around doing nothing. Are they worth anything? A friend found them while cleaning one of his properties and gave them to me thinking that all mags are the same for any pistol. I’d really like to get rid of them, even though they’re not illegal to posses in CA., however, if worse comes to worst…I don’t want the headaches.

Do they use the same magazine???

  17. Beardedcap on December 25, 2022 at 1:11 am

There’s actually a guide rod that doubles as a laser you can buy from Beretta

  18. Hawkfan 12 on December 25, 2022 at 1:11 am

Great video. Answers all my questions. Subscribed.

  19. Robert Abramovic on December 25, 2022 at 1:13 am

I have beretta 92 fs made in usa and she has 2 dot sight like m9… Beretta 92 fs can be with both 3 dot or 2 dot sight while the m9 comes with only 2 dot sights.

  20. PrezWashinguns on December 25, 2022 at 1:15 am

I did feel that the 92fs’s sight was a little wide in the back, other guns I’ve shot have a tighter rear sight and it helps with aiming a lot as far as my experience goes.

  21. srvanddt1 on December 25, 2022 at 1:15 am

Not all 92FS have slanted dust cover. Mine has a straight dust cover.

  22. ThompsonM1A1 on December 25, 2022 at 1:16 am

    Thank you sir.

  23. Sabir H on December 25, 2022 at 1:18 am

im an airsoft noob. i bought a KJW M9, and im looking for a spare mag. On one site it says "magazine for KJW Beretta series", would this work for my gun?

    Super informative, nicely done.

  25. Неубиваемый Зонт on December 25, 2022 at 1:19 am

Thank you, it cleared some points for me. I’m making Gunbooks from wood (you may find them on Ebay), so these differences will be there.

  26. Rah Jah on December 25, 2022 at 1:20 am

Is there any difference in holsters for both? Looking into the gcode holsters

  27. BlackAdder719 on December 25, 2022 at 1:25 am

Nice vid, your 92fs is different from m9 because you’ve got the "new style" 92fs with the different shape of the frame and the plastic spring guide. Older versions of the 92fs have the same features of the m9, metal spring guide and the same shape (except for the markings of course). The "new style" beretta 92fs has some plastic parts instead of the older models (that m9 is based from).

  28. alegnacf1 on December 25, 2022 at 1:28 am

Thanks man. Very helpful video. I own a 92 FS and always get asked this question.

  29. mike gee on December 25, 2022 at 1:28 am

Carried a 92FS for years until I followed the crowd and went 40 cal Glock. Despite detractors, the Beretta I had was tough, accurate, low, recoil and RELIABLE….

  30. A J on December 25, 2022 at 1:28 am

    which one would yall buy?

  31. Chase C. on December 25, 2022 at 1:29 am

Well it’s really the military variant

  32. William Key on December 25, 2022 at 1:29 am

The grips on the M9 do not have screws to secure them in place.

  33. Dan Carrison on December 25, 2022 at 1:31 am

more differences that I would have thought! Thanks for posting.

  34. SatansSpatula on December 25, 2022 at 1:32 am

2/10 for lighting, 10/10 for concise information.  Thanks for this video, it proved useful to me today, nine years after you uploaded it!

  35. dahwriter on December 25, 2022 at 1:35 am

Yes, the magazine design is the same for the M9 and 92FS. The only difference between the M9 and 92FS is purely cosmetic; mechanically they are they same.

  36. Email on December 25, 2022 at 1:35 am

    Great video! Finally!

  37. Omar blank on December 25, 2022 at 1:37 am

ty  4 upload would love to see a suppressor on it maybe test fire it ty

  38. Ben10 on December 25, 2022 at 1:38 am

that straight dust cover on the M9 makes it look way cooler. that slanted one on the FS bothers me and is enough for me to lean towards the M9 if I’m buying one.

  39. Pistolpete21 on December 25, 2022 at 1:38 am

You could also point out that the M9 has flathead screws on pistol grips where at the 92fs has Allen keys.

  40. Monologi2000. on December 25, 2022 at 1:40 am

    WOW!!! Thanks!

  41. Ralph Porcelli on December 25, 2022 at 1:42 am

The first handgun I ever purchased was the Beretta 92FS. I knew it was a grade A firearm. Admittedly I chose it strictly on aesthetics lol, it wasn’t until after I bought it, that I learned it was the sidearm of the U.S. military, that it was famous for being in the movies like, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and several others. OK, now for the first time I’ll admit the silly reason I chose the 92FS over the M9. I do prefer 3 dot, to 2 dot, or U shape and I_I shape, that’s legitimate. I wanted the 92FS so bad, because on the slide the word “Parabellum” is written! 😂!!
Always loved that word, which is Latin, for those who don’t know and it translates to “If you want peace, prepare for war.” Had to have it for that reason!!! Silly? Absolutely! It is the truth however.
    Slide says:
    MOD. 92FS CAL.9mm Parabellum-PATENTED

    Awesome! Totally fuckin’ savage 😎😂

give me a STEYR or a GLOCK!

  43. Daniel Olortegui on December 25, 2022 at 1:46 am

    The M9 has better recoil

  44. SCRIMBLO Male on December 25, 2022 at 1:46 am

…so pretty much the same fucking gun

  45. pjbadgersuw26 on December 25, 2022 at 1:46 am

He just switched the screws, not the slides.

  46. Jack Mellor on December 25, 2022 at 1:47 am

I’m pretty certain that newer models of the 92FS have a slanted dust cover and ones made in the 80’s and 90’s have straight ones.

  47. Andrew Rivera on December 25, 2022 at 1:48 am

I managed to get a GI magazine. I found out later it is a GI one because it has ASSY number on it. It has a cool bluish finish and it’s shiny. However, I have heard that GI magazines are so so when it comes to feeding.

  48. Big Front Wheel on December 25, 2022 at 1:49 am

Will the magazine in the M9 fit the 92 commercial pistol? In other words, can the commercial 92 take the military hi cap. mag?

  49. Eugene Romanov on December 25, 2022 at 1:50 am

don’t forget the plastic trigger on the 92fs vs a steel one on the m9
