This is a terrible comparison. You are comparing a base model m9 5-6 hundred dollars to a sig legion P226 a 12-1300 dollars. Why not compare a m9 to a standard P226 5-600 dollars? That would have been a way closer comparison. This video was total Sig fanboy propaganda.

I like them both but I don’t like the trigger as much on the P226 as I do on the Beretta 92. I also feel the Beretta is just all in all a better design with the wide open slide and the smoothness and the ease when manipulating it. I feel strongly it is unlike any other…I also like that, on the Beretta, the slide lock is perfectly set for your thumb. The locking block also creates a more accurate shot. All in all I think the Sig P226 is more just a common design really. It’s a good pistol but it’s just more of a common design where the Beretta is brilliantly made and is actually much different than any other pistol really…The Beretta 92 is a perfect answer to the Walther P38 and the John Browning 1911.

    Beretta.. hands down

  4. Tony A on November 2, 2021 at 9:24 pm

Have a few of both I give a very slight edge to the Beretta very slight I had a grab one semi auto if I grab my 92 on my 2 to 6 I’d be happy with either or preferably the 92 slightly more

  5. perro sabueso on November 2, 2021 at 9:25 pm

    I have a Beretta 92 … it’s great !!!

  6. Вячеслав Коверец on November 2, 2021 at 9:25 pm

    Sig

  7. Anthony Romero on November 2, 2021 at 9:28 pm

The comments are making me choose m9a3 over the p226 legion

  8. frank you on November 2, 2021 at 9:30 pm

    Beretta

  9. jay1984man on November 2, 2021 at 9:30 pm

    Barrett’s trigger is trash

  10. John Raba on November 2, 2021 at 9:31 pm

The Baretta is the most reliable of the two.

  11. brad fiser on November 2, 2021 at 9:32 pm

Two great guns , when it comes down to it it’s more personal preference then one is better then the other

  12. Elight on November 2, 2021 at 9:34 pm

Beretta M9! What else man. Never change a running and reliable system !

  13. BerettaXD on November 2, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Easy to convert to decocker only.

  14. Out of order cigars on November 2, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Buy your own beretta with beretta mags and see how reliable it really is . Clean and lube it and it will be your
    Favorite and most reliable gun

  15. Warren Rhinerson on November 2, 2021 at 9:36 pm

I’ll be honest I would choose the M9 mainly because it’s cheaper and I have more experience with the beretta. I have only shot a Sig once

  16. ClassicGunsToday on November 2, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Both are excellent guns and brands (striker fire Sig don’t-drop-it 320 notwithstanding) but I traded my Sig 226 for a Beretta M9 and have never looked back.
Beretta M9 feels lighter, less bulky, not as tall, not as top heavy and like a natural pointer.

  17. Honda Rincon on November 2, 2021 at 9:37 pm

    i have them both. Sig 226 .40 and Beretta 96 .40

  18. Austin rhec on November 2, 2021 at 9:38 pm

    M9

  19. Av8rThor on November 2, 2021 at 9:40 pm

I can drive nails with my 92FS

  20. joel rangel on November 2, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Looks like we have a sig fan boy here lol. Beretta beat 226 in the torture test. I have another and I would trust the beretta work my life any day over the 226

  21. Kirihiko Azuma on November 2, 2021 at 9:42 pm

    SiG

  22. Dave The baptist on November 2, 2021 at 9:43 pm

My first gun was a Beretta PX4 45, which I grew to hate and eventually broke. My most recent addition is a Sig 226 Legion DA/SA which is absolutely awesome. This is a range toy for me, but it can be a SHTF, true duty weapon meant to be worn OWB not concealed

  23. Apachurrale Produccion on November 2, 2021 at 9:46 pm

Beretta 100% light easy to use good looking good shooting I like the Beretta Model 81 Cheetah

  24. lro001 on November 2, 2021 at 9:50 pm

    Sig all day.

  25. Archimagirus Sancti on November 2, 2021 at 9:50 pm

    Beretta 92 all day

  26. JimBuck Pickett on November 2, 2021 at 9:51 pm

This guy is knowledgeable and has a easy to listen to voice, I have a 92fs it’s a large gun but I have big hands, out of the box accuracy and military issue sidearm for many years is all the dependability I can ask for, but after this video, gonna look at a Sig 226

  27. urbansherpa on November 2, 2021 at 9:53 pm

*** Left-handed perspective. I’ve had both the P226 with a fancy grip, and the 92fs Inox (same as the M9) , also with a fancy, rubber grip. Being left handed, I had a problem with the bar on the right side of the Beretta contacting my thumb. Much preferred the Sig to actually shoot. Felt more businesslike. The Inox sure was pretty, though! Good video. Thanks.

  28. Austin rhec on November 2, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Check out the 92x I have small hands and the grip is slimmer and more vertical

  29. Alex on November 2, 2021 at 9:54 pm

    In short. Both ✌️

  30. Joshua Borchardt on November 2, 2021 at 9:54 pm

You get what you pay for. Last beretta I held had a plastic guide rod. Sig don’t play that.

  31. grabir01 on November 2, 2021 at 9:56 pm

    Sig seems really bulky.

  32. BmorePatriot on November 2, 2021 at 9:56 pm

Both of them and the USP. 👍👍

  33. Jeff Richards on November 2, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Beretta for me, have the 92 FS and the Cheetah 84 FS. Beretta has been making guns for over 500 yrs, I think they know what they’re doing..

  34. Joe V on November 2, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Easy answer. I choose Beretta over the Sig.

  35. Big AL on November 2, 2021 at 10:08 pm

Sig and Berreta The best! I own a berreta I would love to get a Sig but the price is over the hill on the Sig.

  36. Bad Karma on November 2, 2021 at 10:09 pm

I have the 92fs and the 226 Mk25. I love both but if I could only choose one, I think i would go with my 226. Its not an easy decision but I shoot better with it and I like the design of it more mainly due to the location of the decocker and the trigger is slightly better imo. Both are classic, battle proven platforms and you can’t go wrong with either.

  37. Marcus Johansson on November 2, 2021 at 10:09 pm

thx for a great review! -what about the mechanical accuracy when shooting of a rest. which one would be more accurate at 25 yards?

  38. Joseph Bukal on November 2, 2021 at 10:11 pm

    Taurus PT 92 for me.

  39. Chris Huffman on November 2, 2021 at 10:11 pm

    Beretta, the Ferrari of handguns!

  40. Tyler Hussin on November 2, 2021 at 10:13 pm

You’re comparing Sig in general to Beretta in general??? Thats gonna be pretty tough….

Psssst… they both have a lot of different models with different features.

  41. Flap Jack on November 2, 2021 at 10:13 pm

    Sig

  42. George Evans on November 2, 2021 at 10:14 pm

Put a Langdon OP trigger bar on my 92FS…we’re talking a 1/10” reset…unGodly good. I also replaced my safety/decocker lever with a Wilson Combat lower profile, single lever option. The result? Probably the perfect gun…and since most encounters end in 3 rounds or fewer, I’m OK with the magazine capacity. Nice review.

  43. khalil Abu Kabeer on November 2, 2021 at 10:16 pm

A beretta wc worth 2 of sig p226

  44. LoftOfTheUniverse on November 2, 2021 at 10:17 pm

    Beretta. Sig is clunky

  45. jjc6evil on November 2, 2021 at 10:17 pm

Maybe should do a Beretta M9 vs Ruger P85 video.

  46. Rowdy Roddy on November 2, 2021 at 10:19 pm

Sig all day beretta is trash.

  47. ninjagambit on November 2, 2021 at 10:19 pm

Beretta. Shot 3000 rounds no malfunctions.
Sig malfunctioned the first time at the range. Had to disassemble to fix the issue. Lost faith real quick.

  48. Romeo'81 VLOG on November 2, 2021 at 10:21 pm

    I will keep 1911 all the way😀😀✌️✌️

  49. Joseph Quaglia on November 2, 2021 at 10:21 pm

I have a Sig P-229 and a Beretta 92F. Both are great guns but for security work, I go with the Beretta because it’s more accurate then the Sig.

  50. Wally Unitus on November 2, 2021 at 10:22 pm

The safety engaging when reloading is a non issue if u use the slide release ,when empty the slide will be locked back anyways , no need to touch the slide … I use a Wilson combat low profile safety decocker just in case ,
