Welcome to Firearms of America! Today, I have this Bersa handgun review for you guys and this is Bersa Thunder 40 Pro.

Let’s start with the specs:
Type: Semi-Automatic
Action: Single/Double
Caliber: 40 S&W
Barrel Length: 4.25″
Capacity: 13 + 1
Safety: Integral Locking System
Grips: Black
Sights: 3-Dot

Overall, I am a big fan of Bersa handguns. Unfortunately while doing this Bersa Thunder 40 review, the slide release was a bit loose and it was jumping up on recoil and getting stuck in the open position. Once we fixed it though, the gun was perfect.

Bersa firearms are known for their reliability and the built quality. Is this the best 40 s&w pistol? I would probably go with another option overall, but for concealed carry, this might be pretty good. Also, if you prefer a single double action pistol, this one is a great option!

    good gun BERSA I OWNED ONE REALLY 40 CAL PRO COMPACT, DONT CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA , I THINK YOU ARE A JAPANESE SHORT EXOTIC ACCENT AND TINY FINGERS.MOSHI MOSHI HAYKK! WHAT KIND OF CABINET TARGET RANGE YOU HAVE? ALSO VERY EXOTIC IN THE PLANET ,I THINK THAT WAS ONLY 3 METERS FROM YOUR ASIAN FACE, TOO DANGEROUS BOY!

    I’m impressed with these Bersas. The grips are fugly but everything else is great. Impressed with the trigger.

    bought a 1st gen Bersa Thunder 40 S&W at my local gun show for 200 bucks and i never heard of it before and so i figure is just pick it up and give it a shot and i’ve ran over 2000rnds through it and i haven’t had any problems and everything about the weapon is firm and tight and there’s really no recoil felt from the 40 since it’s an all steel frame but it’s still not a heavy piece

    You are not racking the pistol correctly. That’s why you have issues with the first round
