    Just looove the leather work…
    Here’s a pointer…:
1… your hand is in the way. When you demonstrate it’s features you constantly block the sight by placing your hand over it..
2… you’re moving it around constantly and to fast.. turning it around and up side down..
Basically..: to hard to focus and get a clear view as you demonstrate..
But still.. love that leather.. but slow down..

Have a look at Fine Shooting Accessories based here in N Wales. I do his postage. He’ll do you custom stuff, all sorts. Look up FSA leatherwork.

A scout carry definitely helps when carrying an axe and/or machete/parang. I know this video is 7 years old, but information is still more than relevant today.

  17. Robert Ferguson on October 27, 2021 at 5:58 pm

  18. ED on October 27, 2021 at 5:59 pm

Never carry anything on your spine, you should be able to access your knife with either hand. Ask any vet scout who been to hell and back

In what part of the world can one casually walk around like this.

If I walk out the door like that, I’d be arrested within 10 minutes.

  23. James IKE on October 27, 2021 at 6:05 pm

Yeah I’d worry about spinal injures with ‘scout’ carry

When the government dictates where you can go and what you can read, you are living under communism…..it is time to stop being nice, and take our Republic back…we can be more active in politics after we cleanse this country…no taxation without representation……..

  44. Richard Mcginnis on October 27, 2021 at 6:31 pm

no offense but these sideways fixed blade sheaths are just about the dumbest and most uncomfortable sheaths on the market!!! go ahead and have a seat in your car then try to draw it against an attacker who’s coming through your window, unless you have the seat reclined and have it found and unsnapped its not gonna work, it sticks out the side no matter how far back you have it and if the seatback isn’t reclined the knife pommel is digging into the side of it and if you manage to get it out you’re gonna put a big slice in the seat, plus it feels like a brick strapped to the small of your back! i made the mistake of buying one similar for my buck 119 with the vertical straps and the stone pouch and as soon as i sat down to test the feel it was a no go since the right edge of the bucket seat pushed on the handle of the knife and made it feel like i was being pulled back on the left it might be good for riding a horse or walking but nothing with a back to it, and if you don’t want it sliding around on you you have to tighten your belt a notch more than usual

  45. 666devilknight on October 27, 2021 at 6:31 pm

I think carry across the front, like the traditional way to carry a tanto, is better for easy draw and weapon retention.

  46. Michael Parr on October 27, 2021 at 6:33 pm

Jump in a vehicle and see how much you love scout carry

  47. Rooster's Dragoons on October 27, 2021 at 6:34 pm

Carry your knife at the front so you have eyes on it and can get to it faster
