Good vid… We all have to start somewhere 👍🏾

Looked like an honest run. I’m sure when you watched the video you had ideas of how to change things

I’d really like to get one too. Especially the light weight in combination with the beauty makes it a very good fit for my personal preference. Problem is they go for 2.5k in Germany and im not really willing to pay 2.5k for a 1.5k rifle… -.-

Great video…can you review the rifle ?

  5. thehouseman81 on April 30, 2023 at 4:05 am

394 to 424….I wouldn’t have dialed…held high and let fly

No thanks on all the sig things except the p226

Tips? I have no idea, also doing my first this weekend. Preparing to be very humbled.

Joel, I’m sure you continued your day at the range and gathered new dope. It would fun to know what you learned and do it again maybe in a short video. Very kool rifle, I like it.

1:50 hrs SE of me. 😁

I might be wrong, but that looks like a 10 round mag. If it is, did you change that orange feeder from the stock one?

  12. Sam Benge on April 30, 2023 at 4:14 am

Im on my 3rd sig cross in 6.5cm. Live everything about the rifle but the accuracy has been rough on my first two

  13. Jimmy McClendon on April 30, 2023 at 4:16 am

I love my Cross. Mine is in .308 and shoots the lights out!

  14. Joshua Bowers on April 30, 2023 at 4:17 am

Really interested to see what kind of accuracy you get out of the sig

  15. Mtnshooter on April 30, 2023 at 4:17 am

Good reason to true your data.

  16. Richard Mullowney on April 30, 2023 at 4:17 am

what is the velocity you are seeing out of the rifle compared to the box stated velocity ? or how much velocity lose are you seeing with the shorter barrel

  17. Reed Schwarck on April 30, 2023 at 4:24 am

I believe for NRL Hunter it states in the rules that the only things that can be in your hands as you begin a stage is you rifle or binoculars, and that your tripod would be stowed in/on your pack. So you may want to practice some dryfire of getting your tripod deployed.

i’m looking forward to the hornaday hunter match in utah later this month. i came here to learn. and i did.

Could use a M-lok ARCA rail along the bottom to help with instability.

  20. John L on April 30, 2023 at 4:36 am

Have you fired the Sig Cross for groups yet?

  21. Jared Anderson on April 30, 2023 at 4:37 am

Seems like a solid rifle to me

  22. Robert Jackson on April 30, 2023 at 4:40 am

I know that Rugby is a very tough sport, but now they are allowing rifles in the National Rugby League? Lot’s of references about NRL Hunting, but not any that explains what NRL stands for.

  26. Andrew Mozingo on April 30, 2023 at 4:45 am

Julian has a pretty good set up down there. I went down last summer and was the first person to have a first round impact at a mile on the middle target which is like 1.5 moa.

  27. Tony Damato on April 30, 2023 at 4:46 am

To solve the rotational instability you could put Area 419’s 12" M-LOK ARCA rail on it.

  28. Robert Lutgen on April 30, 2023 at 4:46 am

    Love the Missouri Mile!

  29. CJ Johnson on April 30, 2023 at 4:47 am

What are your thoughts of a pump pillow under your right and resting the bag on your right knee?

  30. Andrew Bebee on April 30, 2023 at 4:48 am

All things sig are great… once the Gen 2 is fixed after a year!

  31. Lance Watkins on April 30, 2023 at 4:50 am

I would try to make weight using a Gray Ops plate. Makes it super stable.

  32. Jesse Adkison on April 30, 2023 at 4:50 am

What pack are you using there?
