Mrg&g you said that you saw units using them in the initial invasion? If ya don’t mind me asking what did you do while in? Interested to hear!

  2. DitryDee on November 3, 2021 at 12:32 am

Thumbs up for that ending alone!

  3. Panama Red on November 3, 2021 at 12:37 am

Man….I’m kind of bummed. I have the original Colt 3x mounted on my Colt A2 and I was really hoping the Brownells would have regular click adjustments with modern turrets. You just saved me 300.00

  4. Christian Denchasy on November 3, 2021 at 12:37 am

Thanks for the review. I noticed you mentioned this scope is designed for 55 grain ammo. Is it going to make any difference on the bdc dial if I run 62 grain?

  5. Desert Punks on November 3, 2021 at 12:39 am

I’ve see a handful of BRN 601’s with varying greens in their furniture color did you paint yours?

  6. James ES44AC -2 on November 3, 2021 at 12:39 am

I’m glad you explained the scope ! That is very awesome that it’s made in the same factory as the original.

  7. Hudson Chesteen on November 3, 2021 at 12:40 am

do yall think this would still be effective on a 10.5 inch pistol with 1:7 twist? i ask because i read that this was made for 20 inch barrels with a 1:12 twist

  8. Likydsplit on November 3, 2021 at 12:42 am

Shimming the scope mount with a piece of beer can…now that is retro, baby!

  9. whatfreedom7 on November 3, 2021 at 12:42 am

Search for a gun in Google shopping. It will not find any matches on any brand that I’ve found. It finds them under the (all) but not (shopping) Has it always been this way or is this something new they are doing?

  10. Saint Versa on November 3, 2021 at 12:43 am

put mine on and now it wont come off. 10/10

  11. Papa Midnight on November 3, 2021 at 12:43 am

  12. Evan Dickerson on November 3, 2021 at 12:44 am

Needs a third pinhole and a jungle.

  13. Scott Glaser on November 3, 2021 at 12:44 am

So did you keep the retro scope on that rifle?

  14. NamekianMMA on November 3, 2021 at 12:49 am

Oh shit 😂 that spin kick

  15. clint2211 on November 3, 2021 at 12:49 am

Kudos to Brownell"s for going with a QUALITY retro "Colt" scope rather than the Made in China route. Talking about going old school. Now I have to buy a removable carry handle since all I have is flat tops. I think that guy at the end of the video is Timmy Magnum, the brother of Thomas Magnum P.I.

  16. Gary Williams on November 3, 2021 at 12:55 am

Ending. A man with talent. Go man!

  17. ElTejon47901 on November 3, 2021 at 12:56 am

Ah, yes, the flying shrub kick. Very tactical in 1973.

  18. Vince F on November 3, 2021 at 12:58 am

You mention that each movement of turret is equal to 1 moa. Is that a complete turn of 360 degrees ? 45-90-180 ? For $300 they should have made it click. I’m skeptical. I had an inexpensive Eurolux that was the same exact design. It doesn’t hold zero any more. But I had it for 30 years and was only $60. I don’t mind spending $300 to buy the Retro- but only if it’s worth it and made better to hold zero than the Eurolux I have.

  19. Chris Breneman on November 3, 2021 at 12:58 am

The real video starts at 9:28

  20. Michael Sticht on November 3, 2021 at 12:58 am

Does it hold zero pretty close once you take it off and put it back on?

  21. antpassalacqua on November 3, 2021 at 12:58 am

If you have a BRN Proto upper, does the trigger style charging handle have enough room with this optic mounted? Just curious.

  23. Sam Sammy on November 3, 2021 at 1:00 am

Wow ! Surely blends well with the terrain. That is, well in California.

  24. Mort Business on November 3, 2021 at 1:00 am

    must… get… bayonet

  25. Him Mad on November 3, 2021 at 1:03 am

  27. Nomad on November 3, 2021 at 1:03 am

My thumb slipped and I subbed seeing the 70s dude. I don’t regret it.

  28. Mike Martinez on November 3, 2021 at 1:03 am

Nice review and demo. There is a way to estimate range though. you use the duplex to bracket or frame certain objects, either from duplex to duplex or duplex to center (e.g. at 200 yards, an average man’s belt to top of head will frame from the duplex to center. you just need to figure out the MOA value of the fine lines.

  29. Badr Waheed on November 3, 2021 at 1:03 am

    The Duff Man pump. Lol.

  30. Adam Dean on November 3, 2021 at 1:04 am

Do you have any reccomended detachable carry handles? I like the looks of this scope, but my AR isn’t quite as retro.

  31. cosmo kramer on November 3, 2021 at 1:05 am

Wish it came with lens caps

  32. Kelly Shea on November 3, 2021 at 1:05 am

I want it because I can still use my iron sights on my XM-15 with it

  33. Teenaj TV on November 3, 2021 at 1:07 am

    Love this

  34. Mobius1 on November 3, 2021 at 1:10 am

    Why no bayonet charge!?

  35. Bobwatermellon on November 3, 2021 at 1:11 am

You can get the same scope just without the Brownells logo for $100

  36. Vince F on November 3, 2021 at 1:11 am

If it doesn’t hold zero for $12,000 rounds it ain’t worth it. Unless they will resolve the issue with no questions asked – with the lifetime warranty.

  37. Brad Torgersen on November 3, 2021 at 1:12 am

Beastie Boys SABOTAGE, eat your hearts out!

  38. Joseph Harris on November 3, 2021 at 1:12 am

Head up fellows. If you purchase a retro scope from Optics Planet you have no warranty from them or Brownells. Joe Harris

  39. Dillon Bess on November 3, 2021 at 1:14 am

DM Slyder is the best name I’ve heard in a good while LOL

  40. Ben Graves on November 3, 2021 at 1:14 am

Would this scope work on a DPMS .308 carry handle?

  41. LF on November 3, 2021 at 1:15 am

Does the BDC turret just turn from 1-500yd setting? Or does it keep turning like an uncapped turret?

  42. Peace 99 on November 3, 2021 at 1:15 am

zero, put it on paper, then shoot bullseye at 200 with the 200 yd mark to see it’s ability

  43. 43 Seven on November 3, 2021 at 1:16 am

Is it not advisable to put a modern scope on a m16?

  44. arrowshot3000 on November 3, 2021 at 1:17 am

    10/10 outro holy shit lmao

  45. sky master on November 3, 2021 at 1:19 am

Bought my first AR in 1978 and put the 4x scope they made for it at the time on it, I really liked it and if I remember you could still use the iron sights like a lot of rifles I bought in the 70’s and 80’s wish I would have kept that first Colt AR15 $304 out the door came in a white box.

  46. Scott Winterton on November 3, 2021 at 1:19 am

    So cool!

  47. AlmostOn TimeHero on November 3, 2021 at 1:20 am

Always sold out aaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Why do you taunt me with what I can’t have?

  48. Juan Cortes on November 3, 2021 at 1:21 am

Hahaha you reminded me of CarniK Con at the end 😈

  49. Jim on November 3, 2021 at 1:23 am

Consistent 1 MOA groups out of this with Wolf .223 out of my Colt SP1.

  50. Anthony Z. on November 3, 2021 at 1:24 am

How far off is it with 62gr ammo.
