Keep going Lon there’s a solid set of hardcore fans for you !!
You covered a lot of things the big guys didn’t. I appreaciate it )
So Glad you went to cover the show. Your hard work is really appreciated.
Glad to see and hear you feel better. And made it back safe, thx for letting US know about all the goodies from CES.
I have checklists for travel. Being a geek, I have them in spreadsheets with variables. I’d suggest you do the same. It really cuts down on stress!
That telescope was impressive and a highlight of the show, but living near an airport in a big city it wouldn’t work very well for me. I shared your video of My Arcade and Arcade1up in some Facebooks groups I’m in, hopefully that got you a little traction.
Love your back stories, because it shows me – while not even being a influencer – what goes behind the scenes, the various strategies, and the way you think and react to different situations.
This is important to diverse my way of thinking.
Thank you for your honesty and effort, every day!
Cheers.
Thank you very much Lon for your CES coverage. I’ll probably never get the opportunity to go to one and your coverage is always outstanding. Again, thank-you
There was another channel I follow (OzTalksHardware) who had the same sentiments you did, there wasn’t a lot of "value" stuff at CES.
jeez u could literally be mugged and we’d still get CES footage lmao
Looking forward to the PLEX CEO interview. Did you get to sit down with the HDHomeRun folks this year?
hey lon, i saw the Live stream on rerun this morning, i would have also saw the live stream yesterday had it been live at a earlier time, i was curious as to when the Plex interview is going to be , cause i am really optimistic about that
There are plenty of good cooks, but the one that takes you into the kitchen to show you how they do it makes the difference.
Thank you for being confident in your abilities enough to take us in the back to show the rest of us how to do it!

Very interesting behind the scenes look! Thanks so much for your hard work at CES!
What camera do you use to film the footage in the studio?
Congrats on the CES coverage and on the channel in the general! A few things: the Sennheiser 835 is NOT a super cardioid but a dynamic cardioid. The AVX is way too expensive for what it does, despite a good built and sound quality. Only good thing about it is the frequency: 1.9ghz is not usually a crowded one and that’s way you have no dropouts. PXW-X70 is a great camera but had a slow and not so precise auto focus system. It’s now WAY improved in the new series of cameras that Sony released after that model.
Love your work Lon. I do what I can to watch your stuff because I appericate the standards you have with your coverage on everything. That Brave browser you mentioned a while ago works wonders and I tip you what they give me whenever you can. I hope you keep up the great work!
Any HDHomeRun info this year?
I’ve been Immortalized!
I didn’t realize CES was large to the point where it had to take up multiple buildings (not to mention all the private suites on top of that). Crazy!
I subbed to your channel a while back but I think I watched a video recently so now I’m getting recommended your videos and I’m really happy I am, great quality videos and very genuine, your CES coverage was the best out of all the tech channels I follow, keep up the awesome work and when I get some extra money I’ll be happy to support the channel in a financial way
Lon is much better than Vox Media 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Would that backpack be good for my video game systems, oculus and put all my tech stuffs on my travels ?
Good work Lon. I agree with not focusing too much on the big or well known companies. Like how you relate to the consumers, if prices are high you say so.
Thanks for going out and bring the info back… maybe CES is getting too big…
Great CES coverage….Loved it
I owned a Lenovo laptop it was As useful as an asthmatic Ant with some heavy shopping
A zoo of bugs, your lucky to be alive!
Regardless of the content Lon, I just wanted to say thank you (and the team) again for getting out there. I don’t think many people know the madness and efforts of CES until you get out there. So just a big thanks from me to you and the staff. Cheers!
Great coverage, Lon. A few minutes before you mentioned getting a scout, the same thought was running through my mind. Maybe have a couple scouts. If you can get a couple more quality videos out there, that could cover the extra costs.
For me, I like Google smart home related products, but there didn’t seem to be a lot there this year. Now rest up!
CES may have become a victim of its own success. Trade shows I have been to in the past would have an on year, an off year, on year, etc
This keeps breaking up on my Imac really bad.
That Sony camera looks a lot like my AX53
Good job sir
That’s such a coincidence you mentioned you got sick from your Vegas trip because another group called W.P.P.I. (professional wedding photographers) who held their meeting at Vegas early this year had many reports on their Facebook page that they came back sick too. Hope you’re doing better!
I love how you are smart with your devices erring on the side of reliability and redundancy over flash. However, I must quibble with your recent "sponsored by ARM" videos. When the company is "sponsoring" a video about their own products, it’s just a straight-up commercial, not a "sponsorship". In my opinion, you’re the king of proper disclosures and almost the only one properly doing it; but for that reason I hold you to higher standard.
Hi Lon, have you looked into the Gnarbox 2.0 for on-the-go backups and on-the-go proxy rendering? Sounds like it might work great with your CES workflow.
Have you talked or could talk to silicondust to get more info on the homerun prime 6? Saw your interview with CEO last year and still not for sale.
