I don’t think they should keep trying to shoot bigger rounds out of the M4 platform, it was made for 5.56

  2. Steven Kennedy on September 8, 2022 at 8:30 pm

    5.56 Nato

  3. lord loki on September 8, 2022 at 8:34 pm

Looks solid I’ve actually heard alot of good things about radical firearms. My favorite ar caliber is 6.5grendel but don’t own one in it only tried a few times but I still love 5.56 just fine.

  4. SonicRacingEP on September 8, 2022 at 8:37 pm

Of course out of the box it’ll be "okay" so to speak to shoot correct??
So once you get that bolt issue situated and ironed out would it be good for a home defense application? As I like the 7.62×39 round and it would hit a bit harder too. Opinions please!

  5. Feeto Orourke on September 8, 2022 at 8:38 pm

Friendship ended with BCA, Radical Firearms is my 7.62×39 AR now.

  6. Jon McNabb on September 8, 2022 at 8:39 pm

Here in Indiana we aren’t allowed to use 5.56 for deer or medium game hunting. Stupid law but it is the law. I love the 7.62×39 for hunting deer and hogs and there is some great hunting ammo for it. The AR platform is just easy to use and very functional. Also most of these rifles are lighter than a traditional bolt action hunting rifle. Definitively gonna buy for hog hunting.

I like it, pardon the pun but it is Radical. I especially like the handguard I have large hands if it were only a split top I think it would be better. The B5 furniture is very nice, I may look into getting one. Great review great content

Paired with the ACSS 1-6 Raptor in the 7.62×39 version gets you out reliably to 600 yards on a flat range. It opens up too much after that so I’m guessing that’s where it goes subsonic.

  9. Matt Comchoc on September 8, 2022 at 8:42 pm

I own a radical AR in 6.5grendel. I also own a PSA KS-47. Hands down would go with the latter for 7.62×39. it takes ak mags, build quality seems a tad better. I’ve not put either of them through real hard use, though.

Do you have a link for the Mags?

Hey GunDeals, how would someone go about applying to do gear reviews for you?

  17. murney conley on September 8, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Hey man I used to go shooting at this range with my grandpa I remember it’s somewhere towards mossy rock but I don’t remember the exact directions could u send them to me he passed away recently and I want to head back to that range and shoot his guns

  18. youtube is facist on September 8, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Uni mags suck hardcore if trying to shoot 5.45

  19. Mr.30cal on September 8, 2022 at 8:53 pm

I love my bca 7.62×39 upper and psa lower budget but it’s mine

  20. Flyte Life on September 8, 2022 at 8:57 pm

    Great video! Very informative. 👍🏽

  21. Starlin Sims on September 8, 2022 at 8:57 pm

I heard the mags are the biggest problem. Also, they need to be built on the AR10 platform. I would spend the money on the galil ace or cmmg mutant.

I have a BCA 16" Hbar M4 clone that has been nothing but awesome.. I use a 5.4oz solid PCC buffer from my son’s AR-9 and it ejects @4:30 Everytime. The only problem I had was when I put it on my friends lower with a 3oz buffer ….had a failure to eject and had to use a wooden rod and mallet to get it out.

  27. Cole Dedhand on September 8, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I’m a 7.62×39 fan. It’s one of the most versatile cartridges, and extremely cost-effective to shoot (especially if you stocked up when it was $180 a case). I’ve been tempted by this upper but I’m not confident in the bolt.

Can’t use the site because of the constant CAPTCHA website page that pops up .
Don’t know what changed, but the site is currently bugged for me . . . 🙁

Dremel trigger buffing time fur that there trigga

  30. PhilWitDa45 on September 8, 2022 at 9:12 pm

I think the Cmmg mutant/mk47 is the best best for a x39 AR…I think they have a demo unit with over 100k rounds with some FA thru it… I think the 556 is hard to beat out of the AR…62-75 grain Soft points, TSX and OTM

  31. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST on September 8, 2022 at 9:15 pm

Mine definitely is my duty go to war gun…556 is my back up

  32. Sam R on September 8, 2022 at 9:19 pm

If I was going to go with an 7.62×39 upper in 2022, between this, bca, and Delta team? What do you think is the best option? I would love a Pws for a more serious rifle but they discontinued it in this caliber sadly

Radical has came a long ways. They used to be a gamble on Quality Control. It’s my understanding they have put that issue to bed. I used to own a 7.62×39 radical. It was reliable for the time I owned it. I honestly didn’t put enough rounds through it for it wear anything out though.

Wolf X39 is pretty much the same price as cheap .223 in my local shops so don’t make any sense anymore. Maybe buying bulk online or something but not much cheaper that steel .223. If i was going to build a gun in any other caliber than 5.56 it would probably be 300blk. It’s more expensive but way more reliable and about the same ballistics. I’ll just stick to the 5.56 for now tho,it’s cheap enough to be able to practice and not pre maturely break stuff
