We can’t stay silent about their new integrally suppressed barrel.
The Silent-SR ISB offers a great looking barrel option for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown model. All you have to do is screw the barrel on at the breech. The company claims the Silent-SR reduces sounds pressure levels of .22 long rifle to an average of 113.2 decibels using standard velocity ammunition.

Buy a sparrow suppressor instead 350-400$. Plus $200 For the stamp. Shoot Eley subsonics hollow point for an extremely quiet and accurate 22 (it’s not as quiet as the ruger barrel but fine for stealthy backyard squirrel control). Then you have a can that accommodates 22 – 22mag – 17hmr – 57×28 I have one of each of these that are threaded and ecstatic with the sparrow’s performance . Obviously the supersonic rounds are still kinda loud but one or two rounds when shooting varmits is quite tolerable with the high velocity rds. I hunt varmints a good bit and it’s nice not to worry with ear protection even hunting pigs with the 57×28 sometimes shooting multiple rds. This price point $800+ , no versatility coupled with a 14 month wait for your stamp, these days, makes this barrel seem like a totally irrational purchase. Just sayin.
