    Thanks for the helpful video, I just purchased my first and chose the Tarus G3. I’ll have it in about 7 more days. So I’m trying to find out as much as I can ahead of time so I understand how to care for it and what is the best ammo to run in the unit.     Just bought two yesterday (so brand new). Should I clean them both before range time? It would seem like I should, but wanted to get your opinion. I left the ‘cleaning’ up to my hubby, but he is now departed to the heavens, so I am on my own. I very much appreciate this video and it will be a great guide for me. Thank you.

    2 things I’ve seen amateurs doing wrong is disassembling magazines and stretching out the spring and putting steel wool down the barrel. Take it from someone who destroyed a bersa thunder plus 15 years ago.

    First range trip yesterday with a Taurus G3X. The only issue was the slide auto releasing when it was held open and I firmly inserted a mag or inserted the mag and gave it a good tap. Other than that 230+ rounds with 5 different types of ammo. Brass, steel, fmj, jhp, & not 1 problem or malfunction. We have a G3 that does it as well. I have good trigger finger discipline and I’m trying to teach my wife. Hoping for your thoughts on the auto slide release situation.

    So annoying when they go over the top with the gun safety. Just DO what we’re supposed to do and quit acting like youre handling a nuke. “So before we change our tire on our car, we want to make sure that we have taken the keys out of the ignition and thrown them as far into the ocean as possible. Next, cause you battery to short, making it inoperable, so you wont get electrocuted.”

    Great no nonsense video in layman’s terms. Ive found in my experience every new gun no matter what the cost should be thoroughly cleaned prior to firing the first shot. If I fire 200 rounds at the range or step out back and shoot one round I clean my weapon

    I hate the chemicals used in gun cleaning which made me clean them less. Eventually I switched to what I view as safer products that still do their intended jobs, I’ve been using jojoba oil on all my guns for a long time but I also use it on my clippers, body, when I make soap, on wood projects and so on since it’s just easy to use and I know it’s safe.

    hey brother, i know this is an older video but was good. i really enjoy all the content you are putting out. I have both the G3 and G2C in a .40, and i LOVE them both !!! NEVER any problems with either pstol. Taurus is really stepping up there pistols, these things are just as good, if not better than pistols double the price…. I carry both on the daily and trust them to always go bang! wanted to ask if you still have your taurus pistols and if so how are you feeling about them after some time.. thanks…chris

    I know the title says this is good for the G2C however the content mostly covered the newer models for the G3 and G3C. I have never worked with a Taurus before but I recently just bought one. Are there any major differences you feel I should know about before disassembling and cleaning my G2C?

    Took out my new gun. Almost every round was failure to eject or failure to feed. Not impressed. My new S&W mp10mm fires flawlessly. Both out of the box. No cleaning. What’s Taurus problem?
