Convert your AR-15 from 5.56 to 7.62 in one minute!

Convert your AR-15 from 5.56 to 7.62 in one minute!

Finally. A true “multi-caliber” rifle is here. Sure others have hit the market with the label of multi-caliber, but Windham Weaponry’s new MCS doesn’t require a degree in mechanical engineering and an armorers tool kit to convert it. Here’s a quick video that Paul did not even an hour after the MCS from Windham arrived. (It was done in his back yard!)

Stay tuned to Legally Armed America (www.LegallyArmedAmerica.com) and Windham Weaponry (www.WindhamWeaponry.com) for more detailed and instructional videos as well as a full review series on the revolutionary MCS rifle! Ask your dealer how to get one!

  4. Colton Buck on May 12, 2023 at 3:40 am

I will always prefer 7.62 over an AR.

    Redundant…..“LEGALLY ARMED AMERICA”…. SHOULDN’T IT JUST BE “AMERICA”?…..

  8. wanted Worldwide on May 12, 2023 at 3:45 am

But where’s the serial number now if he took that part of the lower off for 7.62 upper to fit???

  9. JB’s BBQ on May 12, 2023 at 3:47 am

I have a 7.62×39 complete upper and I can slap it on my existing Ar 15 lower in 10 seconds and have a 7.62×39 rifle……………… I WIN!

  10. Poldus Eri on May 12, 2023 at 3:47 am

Conversion kits are cool if you are at the range and don’t have much space to carry all your rifles with you but my preferences are always to have dedicated rifles. I know could be more expensive but it’s just me.

  11. Joe Sinegal on May 12, 2023 at 3:48 am

Why Not Just Carry A 7.62×39 Upper With It’s Bolt Carrier? If The Lower Has An Extra Power Hammer Spring Installed, Your Definitely In Business!

It’ll Make The Transition From One Caliber To The Other Much Faster, Especially In A Life Or Death Situation!

  12. mike beddingfield on May 12, 2023 at 3:49 am

I just built a x39 upper and got them curved magazines and called it a day did the same for 9mm but you also need a magwell adapter and heavier buffer 4 the 9

  13. Reginald Monroe on May 12, 2023 at 3:49 am

Nice video I was going to get the Ar10 but if it’s that easy I will do it this way.

  14. RAMS' BOXING CORNER on May 12, 2023 at 3:51 am

Hey important question i have a 7.62×39 barrel but have a 5.56 barrel is that okay or no?

  15. Marc Clarke on May 12, 2023 at 3:52 am

Please do not wave your hands.

  16. Archangel Lunas on May 12, 2023 at 3:53 am

F*@$ that, just get a Colt le901-16S. It comes in .308 and accepts ANY MIL-SPEC ar-15 upper using the magwell adapter that comes with it. Remove the .308 upper, attach the magwell adapter to the 5.56 upper, swap the buffer tube springs, drop the upper in and lock the pins. Boom, done in 30-45 sec.

  17. Peter Griffin on May 12, 2023 at 3:54 am

I’m all about modular design and the ability to swap things around, but for me personally I’d rather have a dedicated platform for each round type. That’s just me though.

  18. Zack Thomas on May 12, 2023 at 3:54 am

Would’ve been nice to see the x39 addition in the title. Cool, but not what I was looking for.

  19. Kae Will on May 12, 2023 at 3:54 am

Can you tell me what all parts i need 223 Ar pistol to 7.62 Ar pistol

  20. Gregory Campbell on May 12, 2023 at 3:56 am

Still pretty costly but a lot to look forward to. Can’t wait for the prices to come down.

  21. Orenthal Simpson on May 12, 2023 at 4:00 am

    Is this obsolete yet?

  22. Mason Lee on May 12, 2023 at 4:01 am

As cool as it is, it’s better to just own both.
Pick a good AK variant and build a good AR.
The reason is you want an AR to mount badass optics on it for precision shooting, and tearing up enemies.
The AK, on the other hand, runs dirty ammo all day no problem and shoots the better anti-material rounds.

In short, if you’re gonna stop a bunch of guys you wanna use your AR.
If you wanna mow down their car or van, grab your AK.

  23. Ursa Major on May 12, 2023 at 4:02 am

Couldn’t you just switch out the uppers instead of all this jazz?

  24. jammer3618 on May 12, 2023 at 4:04 am

Have to agree with many of the comments. Buy a 7.62 upper and call it good.

  41. TEMPO690 on May 12, 2023 at 4:25 am

This is ridiculous. Basically change the handle from one gun to another.

  42. Edward Lewandoski on May 12, 2023 at 4:25 am

  43. Braxton Smith on May 12, 2023 at 4:26 am

  49. Christopher Clay Maples on May 12, 2023 at 4:33 am

I have a 5.56 upper and lower…changed the BCG to 7.62 with 7.62 barrel and buffer and spring along with 7.62 mag….issue is…once I fire it will not spit the expended shell out….so t know what else to do….😢

  50. Harold Miller on May 12, 2023 at 4:33 am

Just buy an M4 multiple caliber lower and whatever upper calipers you want. I have an Aeroprecision lower with a 7.62 x 39 upper as well as a5.56/223 upper front Bear Creek arsenals
Basically 2 guns in one with less hassle.
