I only own one 9mm, and it is a CZ 75 Compact clone by Canik. I need to get another 9, since I have more 9×19 ammo than anything else. Love the CZ design. Think I want a 9×19 revolver for back up.

Excellent shooting, that’s a pretty tough course of fire for most people. I’d imagine the 25 yd is where most people would lose points, everyone seems to ignore practicing at that distance.

excellent and interesting channel.. I just subscribed
Have you shot the michigan course??

  5. gregorysoule on March 18, 2023 at 2:55 am

I’m really enjoying these qualification videos! Are there any regulations regarding the types of holsters the LEOs can use? I notice you seem to use holsters with a retention strap which makes your unholstering a bit slower and the test a bit harder. Thanks for the videos!

  6. Tom’s Spot on March 18, 2023 at 2:57 am

Did you carry in condition two for this whole course of fire?

  7. DJ on March 18, 2023 at 2:57 am

I live in NJ and that ridiculous. 80%?!?!?!?!
I wish they would let us lowly peasants to take that test to allow us to carry in NJ. Probably don’t want the citizens doing that because we would put the LEO’s to shame.

  8. thespankdmonkey on March 18, 2023 at 3:02 am

That DA/SA pistol is not going to be as accurate as a striker fired handgun or a single action due to the trigger transition. Guess you proved that staement wrong. I always have liked my DA/SA handguns over the others. Fine shooting Sir!

  9. Frank Butta on March 18, 2023 at 3:02 am

Happy Father’s Day, Chief. Do any of the states require a specific type of holster? I was confident that you’d nail the qualification. 👍

  10. Kevin Hartman on March 18, 2023 at 3:03 am

Again, nice shooting HR. thanks for bringing us along.

  11. TRIBE Security on March 18, 2023 at 3:03 am

I have a copy of the New Mexico qualification course. Where do I send it to?

  12. Kevin Chan on March 18, 2023 at 3:04 am

Definitely a Marine right there. Thanks for the demonstration since I am in the academy and will be shooting this course in March.

  13. Jim S on March 18, 2023 at 3:06 am

Nice! I like the shooters perspective also.

  14. Scott Person on March 18, 2023 at 3:07 am

A great demonstration of why CZ is the most used handgun for European police.

  15. speedypeat on March 18, 2023 at 3:07 am

Those long time hacks are ridiculous. Once again, quals are there to mitigate litigation, and most training exists to meet the qual, not the fight.

  16. Bob Baker on March 18, 2023 at 3:08 am

You are not allowed to use the cover as a rest in this course.

  17. 1m60 knights on March 18, 2023 at 3:08 am

Your videos are nice, you are a nice guy, but your daughter is an amazing composer and a great musician I am big fan, love her music and it’s something I wish to love to listen to on the way to the range and home.
Guns and music go well together.
Thank you for so much pleasure.

  18. Scott Hesterly on March 18, 2023 at 3:09 am

I used to have a cz 75 pcr. It was a decent pistol. I wanted the all steel compact model instead. Never did acquire one. The full size 75s have quite a following. Good job on the course.

  19. Roy Kiefer on March 18, 2023 at 3:11 am

The CZ 75B is an outstanding DA/SA autoloader.

  20. jwc00789 on March 18, 2023 at 3:11 am

Great Shooting with your Cz75 Omega and excellent Video presentation!
It was really nice to see someone shooting a Cz75 variant, as I have carried one as my CCW.

  21. 2nd_A _Dad on March 18, 2023 at 3:14 am

HR, how would I send you a course description from my state?

  22. Frank Van Dornis on March 18, 2023 at 3:14 am

How about after this 50 state series you go "detective" with sport coat and compact pistols?

  23. Mark Aul on March 18, 2023 at 3:15 am

HeyMr Funk when you do Ga. Can you use the Beretta 92FS or the M9?

  24. Ernie Hotwheels on March 18, 2023 at 3:15 am

Really liking this series! Having been through both the US Army and South Dakota qualifications with both wheel guns and 1911’s!

  25. J P on March 18, 2023 at 3:18 am

  27. Richard J Leonard on March 18, 2023 at 3:20 am

Love this one…what holster are you wearing for the CZ?

  28. circuscase on March 18, 2023 at 3:21 am

Oh Yeah, Nicely done…..But do it with the NJ, back in the day issue: H&K P7M8. Damn fine gunnery though….Damn fine gunnery. Keep em’ coming.

  29. Marc Jacobs on March 18, 2023 at 3:21 am

Again, a most interesting video and extraordinary shooting.
I fully agree on the CZ-75’s quality and ergonomics.

  30. David G. on March 18, 2023 at 3:22 am

Again nicely done HR. You are making it look easy! Thanks for the entertainment.

  31. blackzeppelin11 on March 18, 2023 at 3:24 am

    Nice.

Those appear to be aftermarket sights. Which kind of sights are on your CZ?

  32. 8626John on March 18, 2023 at 3:24 am

Great shooting and gun handling, as always. I am trying to decide between a classic CZ 75B and the CZ 75 SP-01 as my next handgun. I would be interested in your thoughts, along with others who may have one or the other, or perhaps both. I prefer the look of the classic version, although I understand the SP-01 has better sights and trigger. Thanks again for your videos – I have been enjoying them quite a bit.

  33. Jerry Johnson II on March 18, 2023 at 3:25 am

Awesome CZ-75B Omega version Hrfunk. I’m a huge CZ fan. Very Cool New Jersey LEO handgun qualification course Sir. I absolutely enjoy watching you do these episodes.

  34. Willy on March 18, 2023 at 3:25 am

    Outstanding Sir! Love my CZs.

  35. 2Aknight on March 18, 2023 at 3:27 am

What holster are you using for the CZ75B?

  36. Chris Petersen on March 18, 2023 at 3:29 am

    Mr. Funk,
Just wondering if you’ve heard of:
    OLONGAPO OUTFITTERS..?

  37. circuscase on March 18, 2023 at 3:29 am

Are you trying to give me a complex? I was born in 76′, I am 42. Ain’t no 45 years ago. Cut us some slack.

  38. Rich E Rich on March 18, 2023 at 3:32 am

What holster are you using for your CZ?

  39. Ace on March 18, 2023 at 3:33 am

I believe NJ has the hardest course in the country . What do you think ?

  40. MrVuicho on March 18, 2023 at 3:35 am

Well I know what I am doing tomorrow at the range with my CZ 75 BD

  41. kibble8820 on March 18, 2023 at 3:35 am

HR. Another excellent qualification course. There was never any doubt with your training and a CZ in hand you were going to score 100%. Just to clarify the CZ your using is not your 75 B omega ? Good shooting Sir.. Thank you for sharing. Inspired by your camera glasses I purchased a camera that attaches to the bill of a cap. Its got the Mossy Oak brand name on it. lidcam is its name. Seems to be working well. Standing by for the next course.

  42. Johnny Matias on March 18, 2023 at 3:37 am

I qualified in NJ and i did nothing you did to qualified

  43. Mark Aul on March 18, 2023 at 3:38 am

Hey Mr Funk I enjoy these videos very much and learn a great deal from you. You sir are my shooting idiol and im trying to shoot just like you. Can you do a state leo course with a Ruger P 85?

  44. Pauls Country on March 18, 2023 at 3:40 am

I like the 75 b in 40, what is your preference for a duty gun and caliber overall?

  45. Old Cop on March 18, 2023 at 3:41 am

Interesting series. I retired 21 years ago but still qualify for LEOSA certification every summer, scoring in the mid 90s w/my Glock 17, at our department’s range. It’s fun and I get to see a lot of the old men & women I worked with for 30 years. We shoot the same state mandated course as active duty officers which begins @ three yards and ends at the 25 yard line.

  46. SurvivalComms on March 18, 2023 at 3:41 am

That was a good course of fire. Covered a lot of bases without being over the top. Thanks for sharing !

  47. Logica Redux on March 18, 2023 at 3:42 am

Great shooting as always. I have heard nothing but praise for that Czech pistol. Do you have any of the other ComBloc pistols, especially those that chamber the 9x18mm Makarov round?

  48. Kyle Wood on March 18, 2023 at 3:42 am

Love CZ…I got the 75D, great shooting gun and an excellent choice for CC! I shot the FBI qualification course with it and scored a 90%. So it’s more than worthy…

  49. 1ahofner on March 18, 2023 at 3:43 am

HR, I really enjoy watching your videos. Your series on service rifle helped me tremendously in preparing for my 1st M1 rifle match at Camp Perry last year. I was wondering, given our exceptionally wet weather in Ohio this year, if you would do a video on preparing for service rifle matches in the rain? How to adjust sights and what you would do different in setting up your position in the rain vs the sun. Thanks a bunch and good shooting.

  50. Smith &Surp on March 18, 2023 at 3:45 am

If you were to perform the same test with this equipment in New Jersey you would be facing some stiff charges. Heaven forbid if you used hollow point ammo!

Could you throw some of the federal courses in there? The FBI. DEA, and Federal Air Marshals are of particular interest.

I have a Sig P226 and P229 from the Michigan State Police. If you want to borrow them you could. I live in Indiana

Great shooting as usual and thanks
I also liked how comprehensive this course is
