Daniel Defense DELTA 5 Review: Custom Accuracy at a Production price

Daniel Defense DELTA 5 Review: Custom Accuracy at a Production price.

in this video we take a look at the Daniel Defense Delta 5 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, This is Daniel Defense’s take on a competitive PRS Production rifle with a competition ready precision rifle. This rifle really has all the features you are going to be looking for
-Custom rifle level accuracy
-60 degree bolt throw
-Timney Trigger
-fully adjustable ergonomic stock (length of pull/comb height)
-AICS compatible
there’s nothing that makes a reviewer’s job easier than a factory rifle that shoots like a custom rifle, this rifle right out of the box, shot excellently with most factory and handloads.
if you are looking for a production priced rifle for PRS or just your next long range rifle this one should certainly be added to your list of options

The optic we were using is the
IOR Raider 3-25×56, this optic is impressive, While it being a “top tier” optic makes you expect excellent glass and lots of internal adjustment, it won’t prepare you for this level, this optic has 40 MILS (or roughly 140moa) of internal adjustment (no that’s not a typo) and the widest field of view you will likely ever see on a optic with this magnification range (and amazing glass), If you are looking to pick one up take at

  3. NorthWest Guns on December 30, 2022 at 1:00 am

The stock looks like a cheap knock off from a mdt XRS

  4. DLN1234 on December 30, 2022 at 1:04 am

    Nice rifle !

  5. Mark Lloyd on December 30, 2022 at 1:05 am

Very affordable. I have well over $12K ez in my MPA

  6. lazybear on December 30, 2022 at 1:11 am

At that price the bolt had better be buttery smooth.

  7. ForceRecon112 on December 30, 2022 at 1:12 am

I agree with some comments ive seen about lack of aftermarket support. Imo for the price, this is what I’d go for to have a lot of these features

ARC Nucleus or Zermatt Origin action. Takes savage small shank prefits, 80 or 90 degree bolt throw, 700 triggers, 700 stocks and chassis, and interchangeable bolt heads
    Criterion or Shilen barrel
    triggertech special
    KRG Bravo stock/chassis

  8. pewpew on December 30, 2022 at 1:12 am

Is it worth upgrading the stock to. Chassis when they become available?

  9. Christopher Dick on December 30, 2022 at 1:14 am

Lack of aftermarket support is a deal breaker for me but itโ€™s definitely a shooter

    Looks nice. Sad caliber offerings.

Thats the second time I have heard you refer to that optic as a โ€œRaiderโ€. Iโ€™m pretty sure its an IOR โ€œRangerโ€ isnโ€™t it?

Daniel Defense is definitely top notch as a company but Iโ€™d rather have a Tikka with the Sako action
