Just go with the troy enhanced battle rail, it’s not free float, but your not set up to shoot 300 yards

You should’t have your red dot mounted between the barrel rail and your upper rail portion. When my red dot was mounted as yours was i was running into problems staying sighted in after a few hundred rounds.

I install an optics mount over the flat top and on to the DD rail and then screw it down.
Handgruad rails are such a fucking pain! I gotta get another one as the one I got last week domt fit right its loose af so long story short wasted money on one and a shitty ass barrel:(

I’m pretty sure that’s not a free float hand guard. I have the Midwest Industries quad rail and it is a free float because you cut the delta ring and springs off so it will mount onto the barrel nut. Love the circus music 👌
What style end cap did you have on your rifle when you install the Omega real. It looks like the round end cap can you confirm please? Thank you

That is huge gap between the gas block and the rail.
I just bought this and had it installed on my rifle today. So far I love it! I wasn’t expecting it to be free floating either. That was just a plus! Especially with the A2 front sight I have on my AR!
is there enough room on the bottom rail to still fit a bipod in front of that magpul angle front grip? Or you think it’s too short
One question: If you guys want to work on firearms and make videos where you educate others to do the same, why don’t you quit being cheap and instead, make a step to be professional and avoid damaging slotted screws by getting rid of the Craftsman and spend a few bucks on some hollow ground gunsmithing screwdrivers? Your expensive firearms will thank you!
Do you have ANY wiggle in the front of the rail? I bought it put in on my 6920 & there was so much movement I put my old rail back on & I am returning the Omega.
So I installed the rail and even after tightening the 4 set screws as tight as i could get it to the receiver there is some play on the rail, it moves around, any advise to fix this issue?

Need one of these, an ambi charging handle, and that bad lever or whatever it’s called for the bolt catch/release, Im a lefty if you couldn’t tell, a milspec buffer tube and stock, a weapon light, a scope for yotes to throw on when I hunt them, stake that castle nut down and my rifle setup is complete.

Magpul furniture looks like neckbeard mallninja shit! That Daniel Defense Omega rail looks so much better. I would also get rid of the other pieces as well. Use a B5 SOPMOD buttstock and a standard USGI pistol grip or a rubber Hogue finger groove in FDE. Also IMI Defense makes rubber versions of the standard USGI A2 grip as well as extremely high quality standard version that are available in colors.
Lose the Magpul shit…it’s Lethal Weapon and Die Hard, not Star Wars dudes!!
