I’ve got CCWsafe. The defender pack is what I roll with.

  4. Harry Callahan on January 24, 2023 at 1:36 am

CCW Safe is the best company because they pay your legal fees up front. Most others reimburse you only if you win you case in court.

  5. Steve Burzlaff on January 24, 2023 at 1:36 am

I researched this issue in depth.  It was a toss up between USCCA and Armed Citizens Legal Defense.  I looked at the board of directors at ACLD and chose them as they seem to offer more in the way of continuing training and expert witness selections should you need them.

I carry CCWSAFE Insurance whether I need it or not. I think it is very much worth the price.

Our Society is a litigious society. The family of the perpetrator loves to say their child was a perfect child and would never do anything like breaking & entering let alone murder someone; so they sue you and take you to Court.

  8. Walnut Creek Woodworks of Jackson County, WV on January 24, 2023 at 1:40 am

Today is 2019. I think the NRA now longer has the CCW insurance. Hope I wrong. But I do have insurance with someone.

  9. nowhere dude on January 24, 2023 at 1:42 am

My conceal carry instructor says do not try to save the life of someone you shot. A good attorney will turn that into remorse or regret. Maybe i acted to soon? Maybe I should not have shot? If you can’t prove eminent danger don’t shot.

Please pray for the people and families of the victims and impacted by the horrible Texas attack. Thank God that the armed civilian stepped in and pursued the attacker before he could hurt others.

  12. M Rad on January 24, 2023 at 1:44 am

Do your homework. Many do not pay if you did something illegal… taking a plea deal is seen as admission of guilt of illegal behavior.

If you have ammo in the house, you need to be prepared. Get the insurance. It’s someone to call in a crisis.

Absolutely a should have. Brother, please keep me in your prayers. Still homeless but working full time and had a great second interview at a much better paying job. This is the 8th different place for me to sleep in a month, but Praise Jesus I’ve had the 8 places. Great video.

I’m actually worried about asking my church about a "security team".

  17. Jeff Walker on January 24, 2023 at 1:49 am

I think it’s wise! We keep insurance on all other things we have, and through life we may never need anything but just to be covered. But! It’s still there. I chose Firearms Legal Protection. The video was an eye opener about trying to save the life of the person we had to defend ourselves against, if we had no choice but to shoot! Great insight!

  18. Benquik Chang Torres on January 24, 2023 at 1:51 am

You need it you must have it if you carry.

  19. bdd1469 on January 24, 2023 at 1:52 am

If I saw someone carrying first aid stuff and a weapon I would figure they went out looking to shoot someone…..I think you have it ass backwards. Don’t they tell you to never unholster unless you are going to shoot? And shoot till the treat is stoped? If someone puts my life in danger to the point I have to shoot them I don’t know that Im going to give two shits about saving them. Hopefully I would, but I doubt it.

  25. Michael on January 24, 2023 at 2:00 am

Good, common sense advice, as always !!!
I agree that in this day and age CCW insurance is a MUST!!! Check them all out, and decide which company fits your needs and budget. Think about this: Some bum is threatening your life, and you MUST take lethal action to defend yourself. THEN you must protect yourself from a gun hating District Attorney, and possibly a civil lawsuit from the family of this bum. ?????????? Bullcrap !! You need some help if you shoot ANYONE for ANY reason……. It is well worth the price of protection. Don’t let a criminal destroy your life ……… just because he happened to pick you as his potential victim !!!!!!!!

  26. Drew Mcginn on January 24, 2023 at 2:00 am

Please pray that The father would give me wisdom. I am 28 yrs old, a husband and father of three beautiful children. Just applied for ccw license. I only wanna protect my babies and be loyal. Thank you!!

  27. Matt Reed on January 24, 2023 at 2:01 am

Nitpick: “conceal and carrying”, how about “carrying concealed” or “concealed carrying”

  28. Dave B on January 24, 2023 at 2:02 am

This is a real concern and something definitely worth considering. With that being said, it’s a sad society and time we live in where we should have to worry about the legalities of defending ourselves and our family. Crying shame. Even worse that our legal system humors these types of cases.

  29. Wayne Battersby on January 24, 2023 at 2:03 am

  30. JAY Dow on January 24, 2023 at 2:04 am

The problem with trying to save someone you just shot is simple. As the saying goes "Dead man tells no tails". You save him and the he will testify you shot him over some misunderstanding or even worse he did nothing and you shot him. The lawyers will argue that you made a mistake and tried to correct your mistake by saving him. He will be the victim in court for sure. It’s a slippery slope.

Or you shoot someone and run in then get shot yourself. I feel that if you are in a predicament where deadly force is needed make sure deadly force is used. As you are taught you never shoot to wound you shoot to "eliminate" the threat. The question will always arise was deadly force necessary. Whom ever has the best liars, I mean lawyers, will win.

  31. Bob Bartholomew on January 24, 2023 at 2:05 am

I have USCCA Platinum Plus and I would not carry without it. It pays up front When you need a good defense Team and Pays bail money to keep you out of Jail. They will pay the attorney of you choice or they have 2nd Amendment Attorneys who specialize in self defense cases . Their cost is very reasonable for mine it is $30 a Month. I really hope my $30 a month turns out to be a waste of money, I do not want to shoot or kill somebody. I have $1,000,000 protection in a civil case. $30 a month is a Bargain for such coverage. Instruction are on the back of your membership card. It tells you what to do and say when the police arrive. They have a 24 hour number on the card too call. NRA is in trouble now and do not pay up front, only if you are found innocent in court.

  32. Fram3rMike on January 24, 2023 at 2:06 am

Do they offer this in jersey? Oh wait, we cant carry legally here.. lol.. 5 yr min manditory..

  33. RUM on January 24, 2023 at 2:08 am

USCCA member, peace of mind especially with all the crazy civil suits these days. I hope I never have to use it, but I’m glad I’ve got it. Nice perks too.

  34. BadCow on January 24, 2023 at 2:09 am

Look into CCW Safe. Outstanding company. Indorsed by Larry Vickers and Vickers Tactical.

  35. Flamingo Sextet on January 24, 2023 at 2:10 am

Yes. No need to watch the video.

  36. Peter Myers on January 24, 2023 at 2:14 am

You present an interesting hypothesis. One school of thought suggests by trying to help the attacker, you demonstrate intent not to kill. Another is that you might have trouble convincing a jury you were afraid for your life just a minute ago, now suddenly, you’re comfortable enough around the attacker to try and help them. I’ve heard both schools of thought. My lawyer suggests staying away from someone you’ve just shot. Remember, you were afraid for your life just a few seconds ago. I prefer to think helping someone is the best plan but my lawyer suggests differently.

  37. Cephas Martin on January 24, 2023 at 2:18 am

I got CCW shortly after I started carrying and I use USCCA. I especially like their magazine. They always have interesting articles and one of my favorite features are their short stories about good people using a gun to stop a bad guy.

  38. John DeOtte on January 24, 2023 at 2:19 am

I have USCCA for the insurance and the added benefits, $22 a month. You get an ward winning magazine loaded with great information. They also provide many levels of training. It covers so much more and is worth looking into.

  39. Howard Johnson on January 24, 2023 at 2:19 am

    Well doneThanks

  40. Beverly Michael on January 24, 2023 at 2:20 am

Now the bad guy or family of bad guy sued for the death or injury even if breaking into your home. Even if it won’t go anywhere it still costs a lot for an attorney to get you thru it.

  41. Tak on January 24, 2023 at 2:20 am

I chose CCW Safe. CCW Safe doesn’t put a cap on court expenses. They only cap civil damages and bail bonds. CCW Safe is also the only "insurer" to successfully defend a client in a murder case.
USCCA on the other hand caps everything or you have to pay much more for higher coverage. They also dump tons of marketing on you.

  42. AZ Dean on January 24, 2023 at 2:21 am – One of the best after all the research I have done, great support. Can use your own lawyer, and will cover you in any self defense situation, even if you use a knife, bat, bare hands or any other weapon to defend yourself. Will send you multiple comprehensive training dvd’s and books. Membership is $135 year and use the same underwriters all the other companies use.

  43. BERTalert7 on January 24, 2023 at 2:23 am

If I were a cop and walked into a room where one person who shot another person was trying to, in a sense, "undo what they had just done." I would think, "Oh crap! this person accidentally shot this other person and told the dispatcher that it was self defence. And if the person does survive it could easily become your word against theirs. Keep the medical supplies for yourself, your loved ones or innocent bystanders.

  44. 82 Luft on January 24, 2023 at 2:24 am

USCCA? After doing my homework regarding this CCW insurance co., one fact highly disturbed me. YOU PAY all the up front costs (bail bond, attorney court costs, etc.) if arrested. USCCA will only reinburse you those costs only if you are NOT convicted! No thanks. I intend to look into the other ccw insurance company policies regarding this fine print "no get out of jail" clause. can any one enlighten as to your ccw insurance company’s policy?

  45. Blu-Ray on January 24, 2023 at 2:25 am

Ccw safe is probably the top best. Out there just dont agree with some of their policies they want help in all situations.thats a turn. Off. If im paying for an expensive coverage like ccw safe needs to. Be all or nothing. Not discrepancies

  46. chapmaker46 on January 24, 2023 at 2:25 am

you are so right about this day and age..when the criminals, seem to have the courts on their side..bless ya brother

  47. 82 Luft on January 24, 2023 at 2:25 am

BTW, for those of you who conceal carry a tuned gun (aka race gun) with a hair trigger, are looking for very serious trouble if used for a self defense killing. A jury of your peers would consider this SD act vigilante justice for such an incident waiting to happen.

  48. Chris Boyd on January 24, 2023 at 2:27 am

We have had USCCA for a few years and I will continue to pay for the coverage.

  49. MrScott3060 on January 24, 2023 at 2:27 am

You talked to folks who are security People or work in a profession that the need to have a gun is minatory and the chances of needing to use it is higher than the average Person.
But for an average Person a Prosecutor would say that you anticipated shooting someone and with today’s Media they would say the same so the Insurance would not stop that!
Its not like Police because they have to have insurance its like a Doctor having Malpractice Insurance and its not like Howe owners or car insurance because both are required by Law to have.
Everyone keeps saying how it cost so much to fight in Court well thats the Lawyers fault they are the leaches that are draining folk for every cent they can because they know you are fighting for your life.
I feel that everyone that carries a gun should get professional training for the firearm and the Laws.
Its just my opinion to each your own!

  50. Dano on January 24, 2023 at 2:29 am

NRA does not offer the insurance anymore. You are correct get some kind of coverage.Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
