Great review guys! Polymer mags are okay, but these steel mags are obviously reliable and durable. Thanks for sharing!!

  2. scott stutzman on October 28, 2021 at 8:37 pm

This is right up my ol military ass. I have several of my military mags that I’m still using after 37 years with no issues. Not that pmags are bad but something about metal just works. However I will never use steel case ammo in any of my guns that are semi auto single shot ok but jamming steel against steel just doesn’t seem logical.. gun even sounds different when you shoot steel you can hear a twang that is very obvious. But that is up to the user if you run it have at it just not for everyone. But if you mentioned the price I missed it thanks for the review nice beretta I like those grips makes the gun. Not that a nickel plated firearm is bad..

Have you tried their 15 rounder?

  8. tymccutchen on October 28, 2021 at 9:03 pm

Thx for the Video. Dont have those mags. But heard good stuff about em for years. I personally use GI mags with magpul followers also magpul and lancer mags. Back in The day when I was in the Army we had a lot of malfunctions with bad followers and well used mags. Not good In a fight. Great advancements in mags and followers now days.

Elander magazines do need to be broken in before they can be considered reliable.
I have three and have had to run about 120 rounds through each before they would feed reliably.

Has anyone else had an issue with the follower in the E-Lander .50 Beowulf mag tilting at the front very easily? Mine tilts so easily and badly that it fails to feed the rounds. I had a jam before I ever fired a shot and even got a jam trying to de-chamber a round because the follower does not apply even pressure and the rounds get misaligned. I’ve contacted Alexander Arms (who sold the upper with this mag) and E-Lander and am hoping for some good customer service (meaning replacement with mags that feed properly). Am I the only one with this problem?
