There’s no "getting used to" loud repetitive long term bangs. You’re ears have fibers inside. when they are damaged there is no replacing them. Choose wisely shooters.

I know 3m is top of the line ear pro but you legit look like Mickey mouse w them on. Sig sells the 3rd gen for $350. Their cheap $70 electric earpro works great and is low profile.

    Thank you, Happy Shooting 2015

  4. Jeffrey Elliott on October 28, 2021 at 8:28 pm

It don’t hurt to use a pair of ear plugs and a set of ear muffs in tandem !!!!

  5. RabidMortal1 on October 28, 2021 at 8:33 pm

It would be helpful to mention the noise reduction rating of these systems.  Foam plugs actually offer among the highest NRR of all forms of protection (30-33dB) and are also the cheapest.

  6. S.B.G on October 28, 2021 at 8:35 pm

260$ for those 3M peltor amazon

  7. misterx zxc on October 28, 2021 at 8:35 pm

What the shit I can’t believe it in the military we don’t use this ear crap protection we only get the gun and then fired it up

  8. 12370ts on October 28, 2021 at 8:35 pm

What a waste of time !!
Nothing but a commercial for ESP inc., Surefire And His Book.
No mention of dB reduction of each type, or the pros and cons of each.
Didn’t even use the foam plugs correctly.
    Thank You…..but try again.

Whats is the cost of the costim electric ones ? If your batteries run out are they still affective ?

  10. Niko plays everything ! on October 28, 2021 at 8:37 pm

If you wear AirPods Pro when you shoot because it has noise cancellation

  11. doc saaid on October 28, 2021 at 8:40 pm

Okaayyyyyy so when our home is attacked and we take our guns or revolvers or pistols so first we need to have our ear plugs first then shoot the killers and In meantime we’ll be dead

  12. cottersay on October 28, 2021 at 8:40 pm

    I personally love candy corn…

  13. Christopher Barger on October 28, 2021 at 8:44 pm

    Nicolas Cage shoots?

  14. Felix P02 on October 28, 2021 at 8:45 pm

Good question? How Terrorist and Criminals Fire gun without hearing protection.

  15. Christopher Barger on October 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm

Don’t buy Surefire plugs. They are garbage. Just stick with foam. It’s all you’ll ever need. If you do lots of rifle shooting, use foam and then throw on some ear muffs.

  16. Hector Alejandro Vargas on October 28, 2021 at 8:46 pm

  17. swmiu808 on October 28, 2021 at 8:48 pm

    sounds like the gunguy

  18. Joe Cool Berry on October 28, 2021 at 8:48 pm

I want to hunt but my grandpa says you don’t wear ear plugs because your need to hear the noises on the ground that a deer can make. I have always used plugs for landscaping and playing the drums

  19. Mr. Robot on October 28, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Putting something inside your ear is so cringe to me

  20. Steve McAdams on October 28, 2021 at 8:53 pm

This video described the various common types of ear Pro; however it would have been more useful to explain how effective each type is in reducing sound levels.  Sometimes you have to wear two types – especially at indoor ranges.

Redmi airdots: Am I a joke to you?

  22. Trist on October 28, 2021 at 8:55 pm

growing up i shot without ears in all the damn time -.-

  23. Darby on October 28, 2021 at 8:55 pm

This guy needs a part-time job as a Nicholas Cage impersonator.

  24. 20alphabet on October 28, 2021 at 8:56 pm

Ridiculous! Get used to the noise, unless lots of rounds with a 45. Your attacker won’t wait for you to locate and be patient with each ear while the plug forms a seal. And if you’re not accustomed to the noise outside, you’ll react when shooting inside your home w/o ear plugs for sure! Can’t take that chance!

  25. talkingalwayz on October 28, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Holy crap, the ones you’re wearing the 3m ones are like 150 bucks! Too much for my pockets 🙁

  26. silverlovesgold williamson on October 28, 2021 at 8:57 pm

And what happens if you don’t use anything? Hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the brain). Even a 22 pistol is bad news without protection.

  27. TheSilentMan on October 28, 2021 at 8:58 pm

I don’t wear ear protection on range.
    Is that bad???

  28. Stella Dallas on October 28, 2021 at 8:59 pm

I thought this video was going to be about recommending the best hear protection for a shooter to protect their hearing.  You just talk about ear protection in general.

  29. Richard Grune on October 28, 2021 at 9:01 pm

As someone who has lost a lot of my hearing in my right ear, not from just shooting but other factors. It hurts if I try to shoot extended times without some kink of protection. Last MRI they used foam plugs and that maid a real difference… I personally have not had much luck with those, so I use full over the ears at the tractor pulls, You can not believe the db’s in the Houston AstroDome.

I use them at the drag races as a spectator and dirt track races. I am supposed to use them when using the mowers or all power tools…

Please wear hearing protection and eye protection when you should.

That does NOT include a read home deference situation.  Everyone that brings that up or combat, have not been their or are not telling the truth.

  30. Dxtage- on October 28, 2021 at 9:01 pm

    Suppressed ??????

  31. N A on October 28, 2021 at 9:02 pm

What good r guns if they’re too damaging to ur ears without earplugs. In combat u need to be able to hear everything

  32. Richard Russell on October 28, 2021 at 9:03 pm

You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.

  33. EhRik AhrSeeGa on October 28, 2021 at 9:06 pm

    Nice, Also…Who Doesn’t Love Candy Corn? :/

  34. oldrudedog on October 28, 2021 at 9:07 pm

The last custom ear plugs don’t work. I have a set of custom silicone ear protection that the co. gave me when I worked in a plant that makes aluminum cans. I wore those to the range to fire my AR-15 and Berreta PX4 and it may have cause some damage to my hearing.

  35. Dragunov on October 28, 2021 at 9:07 pm

    Ah.

  36. NotAMethDealer on October 28, 2021 at 9:07 pm

FPS russia said he didn’t use hearing protection because he was shooting outside.

  37. Bradyn421 on October 28, 2021 at 9:08 pm

Just shot a flare gun without hearing protection. My ears are still ringing about 15 minutes later

  38. Morgan M. Audetat on October 28, 2021 at 9:11 pm

Not one iota about the only valid point. NRR! Seriously. You know better and so does ESP. FAKE NEWS

  39. Michael Cuellar on October 28, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Wish I would have known to roll it up like that 3 years ago on my 13th birthday at the shooting range! My left ear is still ringing to this day 🙁

  40. YATECH YA on October 28, 2021 at 9:15 pm

All-in-one: GLORYFIRE Professional design #Hunting and #shooting Range Gear #Hearing Protection Muffs. Different with other normal electronic shooting earmuffs, (it only shuts off all the noise when ambient sound reaches 82 dB ). Sound Amplification 6 Times, it can help you to get more slight sound of animals easily. They fold up easily and then easy to open and adjust to fit your head. The included earplugs only give additional protection as the included audio cable is nice for listening to music while shooting as well.

    Just use airpods

  42. C on October 28, 2021 at 9:17 pm

I think it is important to shoot with and without hearing protection. Because I think it is important to get use to the sound of your gun so you don’t become afraid of it when you don’t have protection.

  43. Anderson C on October 28, 2021 at 9:22 pm

OK but how effective were they really? Did they simply drop the dB S"enough"? By around $30 dB? 45dB?? Are there any that will give us near silence shooting a shotgun? Ones where we don’t plan to hear instructions (range officer talking in our ear)??

  44. Jch on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

    k

  45. Blood Bought Ministries on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

If you have tinnitus, avoid indoor ranges, wear earplugs with earmuffs. I hate tinnitus, protect your hearing!

  46. Jacktown Dee on October 28, 2021 at 9:24 pm

Ik a gun is worse then a balloon but I just got hit in the ear by one been ringing about a hour will it fade off cause I’m pretty sure people shot guns same thing happened but days later there hearing came back
