All I can say is if your thinking about buying the 509C or other variants JUST DO IT, you wont regret it, I ran almost 200 rounds thru mines after changing out the striker with the APEX Heavy duty striker with no issues, I absolutely love this gun, its better than the G19 IMHO.

Why would you want extra serrations to rake the slide off of your belt or your mammas wallpaper? Is it too difficult to ask for a really slick slide release instead? What a piece of shit, if that kind of design went into any forward thinking at all get fucked period.

I am new to this channel and I literally just bought that FN 509 Tactical and it didn’t come with two of the 24 round mags but came with only one and one 17 round mag. Maybe it depends on where you live or they backed off after its release.

I’m an HK guy and always have been. I purchased one of these on a whim after doing some research. The trigger is a little gritty so I wasn’t expecting much when I hit the range. I was impressed from the first magazine. After 600 rds I purchased the Compact tactical as well. Great shooting the way it is, however I will be dumping an Apex duty trigger into it to see the difference. Pricy but worth it!!

The size of my hand, which I believe to be medium-large, does not come into contact with the mag release no matter how hard I squeeze. lucky me.
What holster were you using in this video? And would you recommend it for someone like me being new to the pistol scene
Get a cz instead for less than half the price and does it better with cz quality. The cz P07, p09, or p10 tactical $449-549. FN is not know for their customer service if shtf problems with their guns, which this gun does have problems.
Anyone bought one of these guys by chance? I looked this up online and of course here, and saw that the trigger being gritty is somewhat of an issue. I want to know if anyone’s dealt with this before, and what did you do to fix it? I know it’d a big price on this guy and been thinking about it so just wanna make sure it’s the right decision.

I just purchased one. Sadly my state needs it modified to be gun law compliant (Blue state). The threaded barrel needs to be modified so it can’t be threaded for a suppressor, and all the mags can only have a capacity of 10.
That said, holding the pistol compared to alot of others, namely the Glock 19, it felt lighter and easier to hold. This wasn’t the first video I saw on this and noone really had alot of negatives on this gun…so it became my first pistol purchase
