Great review. I can’t seem to locate a company that sells kydex holsters for this compact MRD model of the 509 for lefties. Any recommendations?

Been waiting 4 months for mine to come in. Do yourself a favor and buy an Apex heavy duty striker and never dry fire that beauty.

Could you please make a video on backstrap swap guide? I could never change mine for the life of me… I try to push the pin with a 5/64 pin roll and it won’t budge.

Great review! FYI…I read a lot about the trigger as well, but also saw that it smoothes out after break in and I can say it’s true. I rented one a5 my local gun shop that had thousands of rounds through it and it was VERY smooth, NO grit. I myself, am looking at this firearm or maybe a Shadow Systems MR920. Definitely a great firearm! Congrats.

So picked mine up from bass pro, they had a special ( im assuming ) because mine came with the vortex viper pre installed. What I didn’t receive is the package you have with all the sight plates and screws. Maybe because it was already pre installed. Upon more inspection of the firearm today, had a long day yesterday but seeing how the viper has locking screws in the rear of the RDS to tighten/loosen to be able to adjust the windage/elevation when you zero the RDS then re tighten the locking screws. Theres no way to tighten/loosen those locking screws because of the rear sights totally block the RDS. Had to remove the Viper to install the battery so I’m alittle concerned. We shall see once I get out to the range to put some rounds thru it. I’d send a pic to show more what I’m talking about on those locking screws and rear sights on the firearm but not able to here.

Man I want this,.. haven’t even looked at new guns in a year or so because of all the panic buying so I’ve missed all the new releases…this definitely interests me

I have been going back and forth between the 509 compact tactical and the Sig P320. I made up my mind on the FN. I’m gonna pick it up today.
