Looks like a sweet combat pistol

  2. D M Ӽ on July 24, 2022 at 7:47 pm

Can anyone tell me why some fnx 45s come with the magazines with the flat bottom and others come with the round bottoms?

  3. DRAMA L!VE on July 24, 2022 at 7:49 pm

This was a joint operations prototype that should have been the EDC for the Marines but got beaten out by a cheaper sig saur that looks very similar. Minus all the extended barrel and amazing looks/ bells and whistles.. I dont care what pistol you think is your favorite… if you hold one of these and try it out you will fall in love with this FNX45acp
Not a single jam you say? Yep. 1000 rounds and never had a single jam. By best friend swears by Brazilian Taurus’s and that thing jams every other mag.

  4. Tactical Preparedness on July 24, 2022 at 7:49 pm

  5. Al Codie on July 24, 2022 at 7:50 pm

The first time I ever held one that old saying came to mind " It felt like a 2×4 " . But a real comfortable one ! : )

  6. Ms. Ann Thrope on July 24, 2022 at 7:50 pm

I have the FNX standard. The cocked and locked feature was the clincher. I have small hands and can barely reach the trigger but pretty close to a 1911 when cocked and locked. The single action is pretty decent. Not quite like my Ed Brown but decent enough to be better than some cheaper 1911s. Stainless slide with anti corrosion finish and thermo polymer frame makes it impervious to weather. 15 rounds of .45 ACP is hard to argue against. With my FN SCAR 17, they are my SHTF load out. The FNX is also my first choice for sidearm duty when going out in the woods as i don’t worry about rain, mist, weather. Just a beast and bad medicine for predatory animals, especially 2 legged ones.

  7. Deus Vult on July 24, 2022 at 7:50 pm

I like your reviews, but this gun sucks. I owned one, put 100 rounds through it and had at least 40-50 malfunctions.
Don’t waste your money. FN selling you a $500 handgun for $1200.

  8. Shahn Xaoc on July 24, 2022 at 7:51 pm

I love this gun, and want one as a suppressor host. I wish FN would make a 10mm version. 17 rounds of 10mm would blow the 10mm competition out of the water.

  9. firearm.obsessed on July 24, 2022 at 7:51 pm

That’s a vortex venom not viper

  10. Rosa Melano on July 24, 2022 at 7:53 pm

Anyone know if this pistol is California compliant

  11. BlackConservative on July 24, 2022 at 7:56 pm

Got mine for $1249 brand new shipped with a vortex optic

  12. ziggy C on July 24, 2022 at 7:58 pm

Is there silencers for this pistol?

  13. Clint on July 24, 2022 at 7:58 pm

I absolutely love this gun. I have it paired up with a Surefire 300U, a Rugged Obsidian 45 can, and an Aimpoint Acro for an unbeatable combo as my primary home defense gun.

  14. NORTHBROOK1978 on July 24, 2022 at 7:58 pm

I’ve been eyeballing it at my Bass Pro shop. Just have to find some .45 rounds first.

  15. Kyle Allison on July 24, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Purchased this weapon system after seeing this video and a number of others- nearly a year later I am incredibly impressed and pleased with the purchase. Yes, it is pretty pricey but I couldn’t be happier.

  16. Venom GT72 on July 24, 2022 at 8:00 pm

Love my FNX 45 tactical.I wonder if FN will update a new version of its 45acp brother with its new optic system…

  17. Big Al on July 24, 2022 at 8:00 pm

NIch? I have one with a holosum greendot and I love it Very accurate. If you miss, you missed the gun hit where you were aiming. I love it

  18. Paula Gill on July 24, 2022 at 8:01 pm

I’ve never handled one but I just love the lines and look of it

  19. Harris Hot Rods on July 24, 2022 at 8:03 pm

They need to make a striker fired no safety modernized version called the 545 tactical or somethin I’d buy then, I have the 509T & love it

  21. StryderK on July 24, 2022 at 8:05 pm

Well, went today to get a new Tac-45. Turned out the store had a used one, black for 200 less. Was hesitant but eventually went with the used one. Had 6 FTE while trying it out. Turned out the thing was completely dried out whiter than bone. Went home, cleaned and lubed it up good! Should solve that problem!

  22. SD Surfer on July 24, 2022 at 8:06 pm

Did you like it more than the FN 509 tactical 9mm?

  23. ziggy C on July 24, 2022 at 8:06 pm

So what is your favorite .9 .mm and .45 MM?

  24. F. Rose on July 24, 2022 at 8:07 pm

    Great video

  25. ken stirling on July 24, 2022 at 8:08 pm

Great pistol. Really came close to buying one until I saw that magazines are $50. If magazines were reasonably priced I would have gotten one.

  26. Victory Has Defeated You on July 24, 2022 at 8:10 pm

    Revisit this One

  27. James Payne on July 24, 2022 at 8:12 pm

I’m seriously considering this weapon. I inherited an obscene quantity of 45 acp ammo and reloading components and I don’t currently shoot. 45. My choices are limited to, the venerable 1911 in one form or another but having spent years shooting my 9mm right beside the man who bequeathed me all the. 45 ammo, I’ve come to see the 1911 as a beautiful but finicky Firearm that requires the constant attention of someone with Armorer lever skills to keep it in top form. Your mileage may vary, but Ed was not the only. 45 pistol Smith I know and their experience was similar. I really don’t much care for the looks of the HK and I (heretic advisory warning!!!!!) won’t buy another Glock so this FN, with all of its attributes, starts to look like the top contender for a full sized drop leg holstered combat handgun. Hell, it’s even be good enough for LARP’ing around my mothers basement, (if she had one), while watching airsoft tournaments.
Seriously though, every review is much the same for this weapon. HOLY SHIT, 15 rounds of. 45 cal, double stacked yumminess in an attractive, if somewhat heavy, RMR/Weaponlight/Suppressor ready package that looks dead sexy to boot!
Yeah, I guess I know how ill be stimulating the local economy real soon.
Hope to see you at the range.

  28. Jeff Pritchard on July 24, 2022 at 8:13 pm

Does this gun hold up to +p ammo?

  29. Taylor Rhodes on July 24, 2022 at 8:13 pm

Beautiful pistol man! And with 15 rds of .45 on tap, damn! I think I want this over another 1911, except just the stock FNX-45 version.

  30. DirtyDan 69 on July 24, 2022 at 8:13 pm

    Raul Menendez hates this gun

  31. Julian 888 on July 24, 2022 at 8:14 pm

today price is $1299 with red dot included

  32. Stanley Wrubel on July 24, 2022 at 8:15 pm

I want this gun…trying to put together a couple things to trade for one. One of the Best 45 tactical pistols on the market imo.

  33. cnw2000 on July 24, 2022 at 8:15 pm

    Do the 1l review!!

  34. Mike Dodd Mini Storage on July 24, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Just bought fnx 45 tactical. Recommended grain for self defense? Targeting? Type? Brass or is nickel plated ok?

  35. DRAMA L!VE on July 24, 2022 at 8:17 pm

I don’t use a red dot on mine because with the Raised triggagon hard sites it really is redundant I use the lower picatinny rail on the bottom and have a green laser sight from insta spark made from black aircraft aluminum and the tip of the laser has the same checkering that the thread guard on the extended barrel has well and it matches perfect.. people ask if it’s a custom setup all the time.. when you can buy a handgun off the shelf that looks like it has $1,000 worth of custom upgrades on it but doesn’t that’s when you know you got a winner.. and yes this pistol was so ahead of its time that even today it outperforms and has more bells and whistles and features than a lot of brand new guns have you almost can’t make a better pistol then this

  36. The OUTLAW KING on July 24, 2022 at 8:17 pm

1911s are Eternal…..but the FNX 45 Tactical is the FUTURE!

  37. ZiggiesAquatic Exotics on July 24, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Uh I think that’s a vortex venom bro cause I have the viper on my fn509 tactical and I’ve tried to put it on my fnx45 tactical and it don’t fit on there sooo

  38. Capt. Mac on July 24, 2022 at 8:22 pm

    Gorgeous pistol.

  39. Jimmy Smith on July 24, 2022 at 8:23 pm

For that price, the finish sucks. You would think if hk could get that down for less money , fn could up their game. Premium price requires Premium product.

  40. Jonathan Broetz on July 24, 2022 at 8:23 pm

    Your intro is badass

  41. josh on July 24, 2022 at 8:25 pm

YouTube up to it’s bullshit again. I was randomly unsubscribed from you.

  42. Ryan Ranard on July 24, 2022 at 8:29 pm

Does anyone know if the sight cut for THIS gun is exact size and placement as on the FNX STANDARD .45? Or has the sight been moved back for the red dot cut from the standard .45?

  43. Dewie on July 24, 2022 at 8:29 pm

I love mine. the best part is when you run out of ammo you can just throw it and its so balanced it will just boomerang back

  44. Nilesh Smith on July 24, 2022 at 8:30 pm

Yeah throw away that vortex venom and put a Trijicon SRO on it.

  45. ZiggiesAquatic Exotics on July 24, 2022 at 8:33 pm

    It’s called the fnx45 tactical ghee k

  46. Don Johnson on July 24, 2022 at 8:33 pm

Just picked one up and it is awesome firepower to have 15+1 in .45. Bought a FN509 tactical 9mm first and sold it shortly thereafter. Ergos were great on it but it jammed multiple times in the first 200 rounds through it. For that kind of money and for the fact that I was going to carry it, I couldn’t trust it. The FNX 45 tactical has been 100% reliable thus far. Glad I purchased

  47. Jim R on July 24, 2022 at 8:36 pm

This is a mediocre offering and way overpriced IMO. I’ll take my Kimber, Sig and Colt 1911 over this one any day. Hell, even my full-size (hand-me-down) Springfield XD-M 45 ACP matches this one bullet for bullet…and retail is almost $800 less. I’ll pass on this one.

  48. Brando on July 24, 2022 at 8:36 pm

Might trade my G19x for it or my lumber micro 9. And pay the rest in cash. Definitely seems like the perfect hand gun for target

  49. JD Keith on July 24, 2022 at 8:37 pm

So what’s the safest way to carry this puppy

  50. David 99 on July 24, 2022 at 8:38 pm

This pistol is awesome though to me its not worth the cash. To much for plastic frames, steel frame same price would be great
