We had a great opportunity to interview the new(ish) CEO of Taurus USA, and listen to what he had to say about the past, present, and future of his brand.

    Any relation to Jason Voorhees?

Kiss azz interview! Nothing has changed at Taurus, their service still sucks. I have been waiting over 4 months for a TX22 barrel. Customer service could care less. They have this new facility but can not take care of customers. This is the second Taurus pistol I have owned, both have had problems right out of the box-Taurus is batting a thousand. A firearm is only as good as the service and support of the company who makes it. Waiting months to get something repaired, and when it comes back it is still not repaired speaks volumes. I requested a new barrel for my Taurus TX22 and a friend of mine requested a barrel a month later for his TX22. He got his barrel in 2 months, I have yet to receive mine. I called Customer Service in fear it got lost in the mail. I was told the barrel has not been shipped out yet and that she did not know why my friend got his barrel before I got mine. She really did not care or could tell me an estimated shipping date. And yet Taurus is shipping new TX22s out with good barrels. Voorhees speaks that Taurus will never be good as Wilson Combat, right now Hi Point firearms has better customer service.

Awesome! Good to hear about where he wants Taurus to improve. Have a judge, PT100(because the safety/decocker is on the frame where it should be), and many revolvers. Would love to see a 327 fed mag revolver, 6 7 8 or 9 10 shot?

I like my Taurus PT-92, not wild about the rail in front of the trigger guard, though.

What a kiss azz interview. Did I miss your asking him about the terrible warranty situation? 3 months ago I filed a warranty claim and still have not heard from Taurus. So my gun has been sitting, broken, and I have NOT received a RO. Lord knows how long the repair will take. Buy a Taurus as a throw away gun. If it breaks, they are the worst at repairing in a timely fashion.
