I love the 10mm and the Glock 40 MOS is a gun I’ve wanted since I learned about it. The Glock 40 MOS is a 6″ barreled version of the well vetted Glock 20 pistol. We’re headed out to do some hunting in Texas so I grabbed one, put a Trijicon SRO on it and did some quick testing before taking it into the field. Join us on our test run of my new Glock 40 MOS.

    What MOA is the SRO?

  2. Juko Studio on November 3, 2021 at 9:42 pm

I generally practice at atleast 30 yards with my g40. Love this monster. Reminds me of my cock. His name is G and that rooster is mean as hell.

  3. Carrot Pistachio on November 3, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Delta Elite snaps so much more. Good job G40 polymer.

  4. Mad Jack on November 3, 2021 at 9:44 pm

What type/make of 10mm ammo were you running thru the G40 and DE?

    👏🏿🤝🏿Subscribed & 👍🏿🆙 at 14:48… Honey! I’m getting another handgun 🤦🏿‍♂️

  6. Robert Patter on November 3, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Glock should learn from Sig .
One internal guts to put into multiple barrels , slide and lower.
    Have a System kit.
One G29, G20 and G40 barrel, slide and lower all in one kit .
Also a G29SF with a 6" barrel and slide would be cool .

  7. A K on November 3, 2021 at 9:45 pm

I have 2 of these Glockzillas now….smooth shooters and keepers !

  8. Kur Norock on November 3, 2021 at 9:49 pm

If you think the 10mm is too big, the problem is just that you’re too small.

  9. powskier on November 3, 2021 at 9:52 pm

I use a compact G29 in the field but I have a heavier recoil spring and a KKM 4.5" barrel so I’m the same as a G20 which is good enough for me,

  10. SmokDiplodoq on November 3, 2021 at 9:53 pm

13:31 "I would like nothing more then take out a pig" – then he empty a mag into humanoid target’s face. Man, that’s creepy!

  11. Justin Young on November 3, 2021 at 9:53 pm

    That poor hostage.

  12. Ken Lemanski on November 3, 2021 at 9:53 pm

    Mild recall compared to what?

  13. Jason Perfect on November 3, 2021 at 9:56 pm

I love how you say that a problem was with your hands.

  14. Barry Chase on November 3, 2021 at 9:56 pm

    Aim small miss small.

  15. omghegotagun on November 3, 2021 at 9:58 pm

I wonder, can a weaponlight mounted on a glock 20 help simulate a recoil similar to the glock 40’s allegedly softer recoil from the added weight on the front accessory rails?

  16. cLark Butts on November 3, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Got both Glocks model 20 and the 40 shot the Glock 20 love the 10 mm I even carry it sometimes when I get the dirty harry itch sits on my nite stand all the time.

  17. Trip Tre on November 3, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Always have an extra mag or two! In a SHTF situation…. The pucker factor is major and you need back up! Don’t let your over confidence get you killed in the woods!!!!!!

  18. Arnold Gallegos on November 3, 2021 at 10:01 pm

I carry g40 on a chest rig under my jacket for winter.

  19. powskier on November 3, 2021 at 10:01 pm

You snake shot and that you have shot a lot. Does that stuff really work? Would it really dispatch a 5′ diamondback?

  20. Lee Brando on November 3, 2021 at 10:01 pm

Delta elite sure is purdy though

  21. Brian Lirah on November 3, 2021 at 10:09 pm

The sound of the reset on that 1911 is so satisfying. I would love to shoot one someday.

  22. Kent Williams on November 3, 2021 at 10:10 pm

Perhaps the Polygonal rifling of the Glock is also providing a better gas seal and therefor a higher velocity.

  23. Alaskan Ballistics on November 3, 2021 at 10:11 pm

It’s pronounced key-nigh… Kenai peninsula in Alaska. Very popular but the G.S. Holsters chest rig is made here in Wasilla, Alaska for half the price.

  24. Marshall Felter on November 3, 2021 at 10:12 pm

    Self loading handgun?
Gotta find one, I’m tired of loading my handgun, round by round 🧐

  25. Ed Wright on November 3, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Is the S&W 1086 the best semi auto pistol ever made?

  26. American Defender on November 3, 2021 at 10:13 pm

    46 fps was the difference

  27. chikitabowow on November 3, 2021 at 10:16 pm

Regardless of performance, i have to say the the longer barrel looks amazing. If you could ever call a pistol "Handsome", i would definitely call this pistol that.

  28. david on November 3, 2021 at 10:16 pm

If the UK ever tools up like America does….this is my favourite gun..
It was the glock 19 before this…

  29. Ed Wright on November 3, 2021 at 10:16 pm

Just a quickie, the Glock 20 comes in a 4.4" BBL so you get 33% more length or 1.5"

  30. Scott Zipperer on November 3, 2021 at 10:17 pm

Snakes are part of the environment too

  31. Emanuel Goldstein on November 3, 2021 at 10:17 pm

What red dot are you using at 5:29 in the video. I apologize. I am newer to firearms.

  32. Jason Perfect on November 3, 2021 at 10:19 pm

    45? Yehrite!

  33. Name Encrypted on November 3, 2021 at 10:20 pm

In some areas of this land, you need a Fallout 4 loadout with ya in the woods.

  34. coffeeder on November 3, 2021 at 10:23 pm

Where can I purchase that chest holster?

  35. Barry Chase on November 3, 2021 at 10:24 pm

    They make 10mm snake shot.

  36. Mad Jack on November 3, 2021 at 10:27 pm

By the way, when loaded with REAL 10mm ammo – and for hogs that would be 200gns @1250fps or 220gns @ 1200fps – your G40 MOS is, or could be, a 100yd pig-slayer. Avoid using the watered-down .40-level junk that only masquerades as "10mm" on the packaging. You’re getting ripped off with down-loaded performance out of the pricier 10mm case.

  37. Man Fred on November 3, 2021 at 10:29 pm

    I still don´t get why they don´t offer a glock 20 MOS.

  38. Chris Watson on November 3, 2021 at 10:29 pm

I love how Tim was nailing the targets then as soon as the camera went down range….Miss, miss, miss, miss, miss lol. We know the deal bud.

  39. Justin Young on November 3, 2021 at 10:29 pm

I wish I could look trough a camera. That is the clearest I’ve ever seen the dot on an SRO..

  40. secretsquirrell13 on November 3, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Love my Glock 40 mos, I use the hill people gear runners kit bag to house mine. It’s totally protected and hid from the public eye. I can carry six mags but I rock 5 with batteries for my stream light tlr-1 hL and my rmr. Got everything I need to keep in the game.

  41. Michael p on November 3, 2021 at 10:31 pm

I’m wanting a Glock 40 mos badly. Only issues is I can’t find one anywhere in stock lol

    (Grabs popcorn)

  43. Scott Zipperer on November 3, 2021 at 10:34 pm

    I have 5 10mm

  44. Nathaniel Krugjohn on November 3, 2021 at 10:35 pm

did you ever get to take out a pig with your 40 mos?

  45. Trip Tre on November 3, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Glock 20 has 4.61 in barrel and 40mos has 6.02 in barrel! It’s almost 1.5 in not 1 in! I velocity that’s a big difference!

  46. Anonymous Person on November 3, 2021 at 10:36 pm

MOS stands for More Ostentatious Spending. Lol! Definitely a must have and compliment to a Glock 29sf.

  47. D C on November 3, 2021 at 10:37 pm

I read about bear that killed a guy recently and I was like what would you tube recommend for bear defense. This Glock looks like it will fit the bill

  48. David Fournier on November 3, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Don’t buy this gone if you just want one. I bought one to bear hunt with. For 30 yard shots. I am not happy with mine, I bought mine new out the door for 850. I over paid my bad. Anyway it does feel like a 2×4 in the hands the frame feels super cheasy and to spend over $ 600 for this gun is krappy. Thep grips out of the box sucks. I’m still struggling with accuracy. Missing that bottom plate by bottom of mag. Wicked heavy. Stock sights suck and the finish sucks gets scratched up easily. I’ve only put 100 rounds through it maybe it will grow on me? Just sucks that I have to put money into it,, buy that but plate so it don’t look stupid and krap don’t gets in it. I might have to try another barrel or different ammo for better accuracy. I’ve tried 180 gr and 200 gr. I. Not happy with my group at 10 yards let alone 30. Any advice on hunting ammo red dots and maybe barrel would be great. This gun loaded is Heavy. I have the the 40 10mm mos. This frame sucks out of the box. I’m scared to alter the trigger shield because this frame sucks in the hands and is super cheasy, I wish I invested in a different gun.
