In this video, I will talk about the Glock 19 and the Glock 43. These two handguns are great choices for concealed carry and self-defense. In addition, the Glock 19 provides the shooter with more capabilities such as home defense gun, survival gun, CCW handgun, etc. This handgun capacity is 15 plus 1 round, which is great. However, the Glock 19 is quite bigger and will require more effort to carry. In the other hand, the Glock 43 is an amazing concealed carry handgun. This pistol is easy to carry and conceal. Unfortunately, it only carries 6 plus 1, which is a turn off for many shooters in the market. In this video, I will put the Glock 19 (double stack) and Glock 43 (single stack) side by side to give you an idea. Thanks for watching, comment below and God Bless!

Can anyone recommend a good IWB Kydex holster for the 43? Most of the clips are making mine bulge out on Appendix

I carry a g43 with a +1 Pierce mag extender making it a 7+1 gun with a spare extended mag in the pocket. That gives me the 15 rounds available.

  4. Shiny Knife on September 17, 2022 at 8:37 pm

I don’t have a 19 but I do have a 26 and the 43. The 43 is the same size as the 26 except it’s skinny. I’ve tried to carry the 26 but it’s just to fat. The 43 is bigger than I would like. My LCP carries perfect but I don’t trust it.

  5. jj on September 17, 2022 at 8:43 pm

I think the main advantage of the Glock 43 is that it is much more flexible for concealed carry compared to the 19.

  6. Hk 4lyfe on September 17, 2022 at 8:44 pm

If you need 15 rounds to defend yourself, you’re probably "defending yourself" in a way that’s gonna put you in jail…

  7. Anthony Toussaint on September 17, 2022 at 8:46 pm

43 is a “cute” gun. My girl loves it, but the gun seller sold me on the 19.

  8. Josh Cc600 on September 17, 2022 at 8:48 pm

In Florida its extremely hard to conceil carry because what we wear here. I don’t even own a jacket and the sweater only gets used a few times a year.

Probably the best gun comparison video I’ve seen! Thanks a ton for the info!

  10. nikki swider on September 17, 2022 at 8:50 pm

Good tips. Going to a shop, will see how they feel. I have small hands so the G43 might be better for me.

Love my Glock 43! Shoot it just as accurate as a Glock 19.

  16. Jeffrey Ponting on September 17, 2022 at 8:52 pm

No branch of the military csrries Glock. That just means that they got underbid by Berretta and Sig. Glick goes bang every time.

  17. Jamie Martin on September 17, 2022 at 8:54 pm

I have the 43 and the 26. I love them both.

I’m a Glock 19 owner and i love it !! I tried the glock 43 in the shooting range i didnt liked it considering i had to reload the mag due to the ammo capacity and the grip is too slim for my big hands ..my wife has smaller hand but likes the g19 better ..but everyones different ..my next purchase is bettwen glock 21 and glock 23 Im doing my research before i buy ..all around guys Glock makes one of the most reliable hand guns

  20. DemocratsPartyofsatan on September 17, 2022 at 8:56 pm

I own both..G43 for my CCW….G19 for my go to war gun

EDC: Glock 43 gen 4 txd black rear yellow front dot taranT plus 2 mag extender, microtech stitch black on black rotated with kershaw launch 4, stream light pro. Works for me.

  24. John Grunwell on September 17, 2022 at 9:02 pm

Comparing Apples to Oranges…….WHY??? Concealment or capacity or recoil and total weight are the only (?). Glock 26 is a perfect fit. I carry Steyr M9-A1 with little problem but love the G26. Glock 42 has it’s place as well with the right ammo. GOOD VIDEO, by the way, Cuban descent, my with is a Cuubon.

    You hispanic bro?

  26. Len Wilson on September 17, 2022 at 9:03 pm

I don’t like the feel of the Glock 19, feels like a brick. I own a Glock 43 for carry in summer and fishing trips on the river and I carry a HK VP9 during the winter and for bed side.

  27. BioCyberNaught on September 17, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I challenge your claim that fewer rounds place you at a disadvantage. In most self-defense shootings only 2 shots are fired to end the threat ( http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/analysis-of-five-years-of-armed-encounters-with-data-tables/ ). Quoting from the study: "…Overall, shots were fired by the defender in 72% of incidents. The average and median number of shots fired was 2. When more than 2 shots were fired, it generally appeared that the defender’s initial response was to fire until empty. …" This means someone with a 5-shot j-frame is equally prepared to someone with a 15+1 G19 as both guns have at least 2 rounds.

It should be noted, however, that this study does not account for encounters with animals, so campers/backpackers may have different results. It may take those 15+1 rounds just to score a single hit against a mountain lion. In that case, I have to agree, the G43 puts you at a disadvantage.

IMO the only meaningful difference between the G43 and the G19 is concealability. Ask yourself:
    — How much I care if the guy behind me in line at Wal-Mart sees me print?
–Am I going to be around friends/family who are anti-gun and would make a scene?
    — Do I work in, or will I enter posted businesses while armed?

  28. Peter Delgado on September 17, 2022 at 9:07 pm

Hey I was looking at my local Gun Store and saw a Glock G43 for $299.99 is that a bad price for a G43? I’m thinking of getting it! >.<

  29. Mark S C on September 17, 2022 at 9:09 pm

…I’ve got the 19 Gen 3 ….great gun …but not crazy about the way it carrys …guess it depends on your size….may go with the 43 next ..

  30. Chiaki Nanami on September 17, 2022 at 9:10 pm

The kickback for 43 vs 19 is huge; I couldn’t handle the 43, honestly, but I’m a woman with small hands.

  31. BisdakYoda Chewy on September 17, 2022 at 9:11 pm

Are single stock pistols the same as single stack pistols?

  32. Jamie Martin on September 17, 2022 at 9:11 pm

My G43 has night sights and Hogue beavertail grip. Love it

I really cant decide, I’ll get both ,.

  36. Ryan 1995 on September 17, 2022 at 9:12 pm

I feel like nobody buys the glock 17.

  37. Ryan 1995 on September 17, 2022 at 9:13 pm

I would trade my 19 for a 43 if nj had conceal and carry.

  38. Jeffrey Ponting on September 17, 2022 at 9:14 pm

I like Glock 17, 26, and 43 I carrie a 43. Someone else said no branch of military carries Glock. The Glock 17 is goodenough for the Austrian army and many police forces.

  39. Celia Shadden on September 17, 2022 at 9:14 pm

Can go wrong with either one.. The 43 is the mini 19 and the 43X is the mini glock 45.

  40. Jay Mar on September 17, 2022 at 9:15 pm

    Sex plus one lmao

  41. Brandon Abbott on September 17, 2022 at 9:17 pm

If you’re a skinny guy, it’s hard to conceal a 19 or even a 26 without wearing extra loose fitting clothes. The 43 was a life saver

  42. Richard Ploeser on September 17, 2022 at 9:19 pm

G-19 with G-17 magazines RIGHT ON! Every day carry!

  43. Lash LaRue on September 17, 2022 at 9:22 pm

The Glock 43 is a “single stock” pistol. There is only one stock attached to it. You will require an NFA tax stamp as well.

  44. brokenprism Nelson on September 17, 2022 at 9:24 pm

"God is in control." Well said, sir. : )

  45. brokenprism Nelson on September 17, 2022 at 9:25 pm

A lot of videos are devoted to the question of WHICH to choose. I say get both. The 43 makes an excellent back up to the 19.

  46. Yeah Right on September 17, 2022 at 9:26 pm

I feel like Glocks are meant to be just all-around rock solid battle pistols, and that if you want something ultra concealable you’re better off getting something purpose built for that role. I mean with only single stack 6+1 you’re probably better off buying something like a S&W Bodyguard, which is super tiny

  47. Mike Avila on September 17, 2022 at 9:26 pm

    I’m debating for a glock 42, glock 17 or glock 19

  48. David Linihan on September 17, 2022 at 9:30 pm

    Both are great!

Thank you for the comparison. I love shooting the G19…never held a G43.
