  4. James Brant on November 12, 2021 at 9:44 pm

    What is the price

  5. Ben Belden on November 12, 2021 at 9:44 pm

I think 243 is enough to take down elk
I think it’s a good all-around gun for big game

    Does the .22LR barrel have a dovetail (11mm or 3/8ths) scope groove ? …
… Are there ANY provisions (drilled-n-tapped, etc.) for optics on the .22LR ?
… Would be nice to be able to pur a red-dot on the shotguns, for slugs, but that would be asking way too much … Sure would be a great selling point. … The price sure is great.
How is that length of pull, for an adult, btw ?

  7. Hunter Martin on November 12, 2021 at 9:47 pm

    U can get a 50.cal 20ga22lr

That .243 barrel will put a bullet thru a 1/4 inch steel plate with ease

  10. Joe Carcajou on November 12, 2021 at 9:51 pm

THANKS! for you video. Can you tell me the .22 LR rifle weight? — Is it a lot heavier than an average 5.25 lbs .22 LR rifle?

I can hit a pie plate with open sites 22 long 200 yards 🙂 pretty good

Can’t go wrong! Thank you, John.

I normally agree with learning to shoot with iron sights first, but the cheap plastic "sights" they have on those barrels are a joke. My son has the same setup, and we had to put a scope on the 243 barrel, and probably gonna have to put one on the 22 also. They’re impossible to make any kind of sight adjustment to even get a zero. But it is a great gun for a kid, got it for his 10th bday also.

    Hi, I just bought my youngest brother a Rossi-.22lr/.20ga…. & I was wondering if I could buy him a .243cal-barrel, for it…??

  15. CHOWKOUL TORCH on November 12, 2021 at 9:55 pm

  16. adeadalien n on November 12, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Hi, really informative video. One question, do you think a slug round would damage the barrel?

  17. CommonSenseOutdoors on November 12, 2021 at 10:00 pm

Right on bud! To be honest i haven’t even looked to see what the inside of the stock looks like, might have to check that out, John.

  18. shawn2571 on November 12, 2021 at 10:00 pm

Also are they all youth guns? Or can you get them with larger stocks?

  19. Cornelius Bartholemew on November 12, 2021 at 10:02 pm

  20. KingLT82 on November 12, 2021 at 10:03 pm

  23. Southern Gunslinger on November 12, 2021 at 10:07 pm

  24. Nakoa Warrior on November 12, 2021 at 10:07 pm

    Looks great.

  25. Danie Van Niekerk on November 12, 2021 at 10:08 pm

Have you done any accuracy tests on the .22 and 243?

  26. KGSnake 24 on November 12, 2021 at 10:10 pm

    how’s the kick

  27. CommonSenseOutdoors on November 12, 2021 at 10:11 pm

I believe you can get just about any combo through Rossi… But most sporting good store don’t carry a variety of combos. The 50 cal. would be a good option, Did you get one? Thanks for watching, John.

  28. CommonSenseOutdoors on November 12, 2021 at 10:15 pm

Yes, you may have to get the combo through Rossi. Or you can get this combo at most sporting goods stores, and then order the 12Ga barrel, and have 4! Thank you for your question, John.

  29. Tyler Scott on November 12, 2021 at 10:17 pm

    CAn u get a 12 gauge 22lr and .243?

  30. CommonSenseOutdoors on November 12, 2021 at 10:17 pm

The 243 and 22lr are both set up for scope mounts. The set comes with one set of mounts for a scope, you have to order another, if you want to put them on both. It is a little short for an adult, but shootable for sure. I am not positive, but I think they may make a stock extension for it, John.

  31. James Vieira on November 12, 2021 at 10:17 pm

What a great combo for a young hunter to grow up with. The single shot makes them better marksmen and they don’t tear through the ammo either.

  32. Fahad Farrukh on November 12, 2021 at 10:17 pm

I liked the fiber optics on the .22 barrel but I felt there were not very good at distance for the .243. Scoped however the .243 is very nice. Not much recoil at all. I think it would be worth it to scope the .22 as well.

  42. Shane Beard on November 12, 2021 at 10:24 pm

I’d like to get one of these in .22lr, .410, and .243 for my nine year old daughter. She shoots a .22 and a .410 like a champ. What does the .243 feel like on this gun as far as recoil goes?
