VERYGOOD VERYGOOD
just wondering, when you said that the high cheek pad will throw recoil to you face, i am wanting to get a dimension in the d family in 7mm but is the kick really that bad?
looks like its easy to exchange barrels. Wonder how the 300 win mag kicks?
Excellent Rifle, bad thing is theirs no ammo?

I … am… not… a… robot.
Ok review, sounds very robotic.
I HAVE to disagree about the stock — the high comb (cheek-piece) is very comfortable and does not throw recoil forces into your face. It has a slight downward angle to it and doesn’t hurt my cheek. I shoot .223, .243, .308. and 30-06 in this platform and its very comfortable in all of these.
It’s be aweseom if they came out with .375 H&H or a big bore 45-70!!!
OH….OK so barrel 199$ and bolt 129$ = 328$????
What da heck, get a Ruger American for the same price…duhh
The comb angle is a positive for recoil. The gun comes back and up during recoil, combs that are high at the wrist and low at the but accentuate recoil, this is the reverse. Many Euro stocks are shaped this way because they are not caught in the whole make it look like a Rigby thing Ruger sold us on. Thing Wetherby those stocks are built like this.
On pricing. Obviously one wouldn’t buy this gun if one though the Ruger American was better, and the Ruger is good. But it does about 1.5-2.o inch 308 in real tests, this is a more accurate rifle. The group B gives you most of the better cartridges, so you can shoot a lot of different calibers for only the price of the barrels.
Unfortunately, a year has gone by, and there isn’t any sign of any new barrels. I’d love a 300 whisper, or some of the larger bores mentioned, or something a little interesting. These are the same old same old, most shooters already have some of these guns in their arsenals.
Have two love them!!!
the cool styling alone is cool as heck. this is definitely something i wanna cop some day.
