Why does the government sue the gun manufacturers? A gun doesn’t convince a person to go shoot people. A gun doesn’t corrupt a persons mind. A gun doesn’t convince the person that they are victims. Why aren’t we suing the pharmaceutical companies and social media sites these people take or frequent? Most pharmaceuticals have side effects like thoughts of suicide. A gun doesn’t have side effects like thoughts of suicide. Biased and focused media sites pushing fake propaganda can definitely convince a person to do something violent. I’m sure it’s only a coincidence that the party that wants our guns has the most mass shootings. That’s even with a 2 year lockdown. It’s just another thing Trump did better.

  2. Bo Kvarv on May 9, 2023 at 3:11 am

banning guns does not in any way prevent mass killings, just mass shootings, I wonder if these people think it is right if 20 children are stabbed to death, since they are not shot these people should be happy and dance in the street as the world is safe becuse nobody has a gun.

Unless the CAUESES for these shootings and killings is identified and adressed not matter how it HURTS politically or empitionally or culturally then the killings will never stop regardelss of TOOLS they are forbidden to use.

Why would two dueds be at you

  4. Richard gross on May 9, 2023 at 3:12 am

That black guy is a moron.. The dog would warn me and I can get to my gun in time.. an intruder would simply shoot the dog.. Then he says run get out of the house.. I am not a coward and will not run.. When more people fight back it gives the criminals something to yhoink about like this person may have a gun and WILL shoot back

  5. Justa Guy on May 9, 2023 at 3:12 am

Lots of good points on all side. I’m not into guns, I’m just not interested in less rights and more regulations in any aspect of life.

  6. mjm on May 9, 2023 at 3:15 am

Should people being treated by a physician prescribing psychotropic drugs for them be able to purchase or own guns?

  7. Lyssa smiles on May 9, 2023 at 3:16 am

Yeah I agree update the constitution! Why aren’t institutions and organizations updating that just seems to make sense!

Yes, transparency is a must. If you’re on duty keep the camera on period, show us you’re trustworthy, you’ve lost the trust of the public build it back be transparent.

We should have universal healthcare, period. Yes, community were better together!

  8. Saroj kr on May 9, 2023 at 3:16 am

Can’t believe, no one is talking about banning guns. Don’t sell at walmart. Simple

  9. Richard Hendrix on May 9, 2023 at 3:17 am

The problem is not the Guns ,it’s the peoples evil hearts caused by turning our backs on Jesus.

It’s definitely not a GLOBAL problem Americans are delusional, no other country has this level violence from guns.

    Well done.

  13. Markus Keuschnigg on May 9, 2023 at 3:22 am

Once again, for a Western-European, this discussion is just insane.

  14. Bo Kvarv on May 9, 2023 at 3:22 am

WHY do people belive it is RIGHT to NOT FIGHT BACK.
If a robber comes into my house I run away, in other words I GIVE THE ROBBER EVEYTHING…..and then I complain that I have been robbed.

A home intruder comes to my home, I run away. I no longer have MY PROPERTY becuse that person’s "life and actions" is so vluable I will give away everthing I have…….and be left with nothing
or I say no and if this means use force then the chise is ONLY on the criminla and not me, meaning no matter what I do could have been avoided by the criminal by not breaking in

  15. Jay Varner on May 9, 2023 at 3:22 am

The part where he says you need to get out and she says I stand my ground is very telling. When faced with the option of going to safety or pride, you will find the ones who want the arsenal on the side of dumb pride. They see it as a war that they must fight as opposed to a battle they need to survive.

  16. Anything Goes on May 9, 2023 at 3:22 am

Illegalizing AR and AKs will NEVER reduce crime especially when ARs and AKs are not involved in 99% of murders.

  17. Lily Parker on May 9, 2023 at 3:24 am

A community garden instead of security? 😂

  18. Chris R on May 9, 2023 at 3:24 am

I can’t help myself, every time I see one at a shop or show I’m liable to adopt another AR. Just trying to provide a good stable home environment for these poor neglected rifles.

  20. Amni C on May 9, 2023 at 3:27 am

Police need M O R E training! How hard is that to grasp for some of these people? Criminals will always obtain guns, no matter the laws. . Take a look at Hollywood. They defunded their police and they have “Safety Ambassadors”. I fell out when I saw that video. 😂Glorified security guards. May as well be working at Walmart or CVS. They are standing around while people road rage fight LOL😂 Absolute clown show out there. When people really start dying from ILLEGAL gun use they’ll have to bring back real LEOs.

  21. M. RG. on May 9, 2023 at 3:28 am

As Americans, we have every reason to celebrate our rights and freedoms guaranteed us by the US Constitution. The senseless, even despicable, crimes of a relatively few cannot justify infringement of the Constitutional rights of law abiding citizens in the hopes that such crimes will then abate.

The Supreme Court has held that citizens have the Constitutional right to own and possess firearms and may use them in self-defense. Whether it is well intentioned, brilliant, or arrogant, no state may enact a law that denies its citizens rights that the Constitution guarantees them. Even legislation that may enjoy the support of a majority of its citizens must fail if it violates the Constitutional rights of fellow citizens.

  22. Aaron Ostrowski on May 9, 2023 at 3:33 am

Americans are always so scared of their neighbors and are afraid someone will come and hurt them, which is why gun culture is so large. In France, for example, the idea that your neighbor is your enemy is so far-fetched, and people don’t go around afraid they’re going to get hurt by their neighbors. Mass shootings and the thought of someone attacking you in mass just doesn’t happen often. They know that people can do bad, but they don’t fear them, generally. The culture in America is so defensive, and that is why we feel the need and the "right" to weaponize ourselves. It makes total sense to want to have a weapon in the US. Kudos to people willing to talk about this American culture.

  23. Ernie Finley on May 9, 2023 at 3:34 am

    Shall not be infringed…bottom line

  24. Jon Roberts on May 9, 2023 at 3:36 am

Confusing🤔 I whent to a technical college and we had campus security / police.. I didn’t feel I was in some prison or some Fortress. Hardly saw them inside unless there’s some type of interruption, mostly patrolling the campus grounds and perimeter around the grounds of campus. I feel like there could be something similar for the other schools, at a certain time most entrances we’re locked you will have to go to the main entrance and see the administration to get a tardy pass. Even some of the classrooms were locked during class hours. Surely something similar could be put in place for the for the other schools.

Junk food is far more deadly than guns. But you’ll never hear these fat anti gun idiots complain about that.

  27. o None on May 9, 2023 at 3:41 am

As a European i am fascinated by this American fétichisme for guns. It’s like a drug, you know it’s bad but then you have all the denial stages, rationale argumentation, and cognitive dissonance of a junky mind to convince yourselves it’s your god given right and that people hurt people, not guns. It’s space odyssey 2001. Rome has truly fallen under the attacks of the barbarians

  28. EleanorR1gby on May 9, 2023 at 3:42 am

I feel sorry for Americans feeling afraid all the time wow thats messed up

  29. D. N. on May 9, 2023 at 3:44 am

3 teen boys in my family while in high school were treated as criminals by the school officer. It is a problem. Also, nobody on this panel brought attention to the known history of tyrannical government take over after removal of guns in society. It has happened EVERY time IVER AND OVER. America is the only country with so much freedom because other countries fear us for our numbers of guns in citizens reach.

  30. Ondra Urban on May 9, 2023 at 3:46 am

Why do background checks work in EU if they are not a solution…

  31. wehqwh qwqedqe on May 9, 2023 at 3:50 am

In this type of debates it would be interesting to put a couple of europeans in there cause from my pov this discussion is totally nuts and I would have liked to ask them a couple questions, like:
    1) If less guns is not the solution then what explanation do u give when faced with the fact that the only civilized country in the world with these problems is the US?

    2) At some point in the video the woman with curly blond hair on the right which seems like a great person and I’m sure she’s an amazing mother says something like: "what am I gonna do if two persons with AR15 come into my house and try to kill me and my children?" I can assure you that’s not a thought that runs through the mind of any parent in any other civilized country in the world. What kind of country is the US when beautiful persons like her live their lives with this types of worries?

  32. Steezswee on May 9, 2023 at 3:51 am

Lets apply this logic to school shootings.
Adults: "best chance you have is to get out the school"
kids: "they reach far, you think I can outrun that?"

  33. Pbcity Is-Witty on May 9, 2023 at 3:51 am

LOL ill take my gun over my kitchen light on thank you.

  34. Ondra Urban on May 9, 2023 at 3:52 am

There is an interview with swiss firearm instructor during wich he said that if you had problems with law you won’t be able to get a gun over there. He was asked if it includes things like public urination and his answer was" Well if you can’t follow basic rules like that, then how can we be sure you will follow gun safety." And to be honest I love that answer.

  36. lola odunsi on May 9, 2023 at 3:54 am

I think that everyone here is missing the point of the gun situation people are saying is we need to make sure that people who should not own a gun don’t own an A.R. 15
You don’t need an A.R. 15 to defend yourself. It’s a bunch of nonsense.

  37. Superdoc009 on May 9, 2023 at 3:55 am

OMG… They really missed the mark on audience participation on this. The lady with the ink, and the veteran are the only people with a clue.

  38. Nathaniel on May 9, 2023 at 3:56 am

It’s kinda sad how easily the man was a shooting victim fell back into stereotypes about reasonable gun owners. Buddy was bringing up ridiculous analogies about zombies and thinking you can out run bullets if the intruder is armed with a semiautomatic rifle 🤦‍♂️

Don’t forget There are only two genders.

  40. Mason Smith on May 9, 2023 at 3:57 am

I love hearing people talk trash about the men who wrote the constitution saying “it’s outdated we should change it” 🙄 they literally wrote it the way they did so we could change it over time you morons

  41. thewirah1 on May 9, 2023 at 3:57 am

Gun owners provide criminals with almost all of the illegal guns they need. Meanwhile the majority of Americans who doesn’t own guns is caught between legal gun owners and criminals.

  42. Peace Brother on May 9, 2023 at 4:00 am

Republicans will always side with the NRA because money is more important then people. Get use to mass killings every where. No one will ever be safe as long as Republicans are in charge.

  46. Forgotten Fur Babies on May 9, 2023 at 4:05 am

I can’t stand people who don’t know a damn thing about guns! A gun is certainly a known deterrent. That man is not thinking about this. If you take away guns from good people, you basically condemn them to die! If they think limiting guns will stop violence, they are sadly mistaken. A criminal can buy an Illegal gun so easy!

That guy with the Afro, is living in La La land. Community?? It’s hasn’t worked yet.

  47. Badmedicine on May 9, 2023 at 4:06 am

The gentleman with the Afro had no interest in a conversation. He is projecting his own trauma onto the issue. And he’s really making it hard for other people to just have an honest conversation. The chick who said gun capitalists immediately legit made the case for private gun ownership when she talked about her idea of red flag laws only targeting her political opponents. The anti gun crowd here legitimately does not seem understand the issue enough to form coherent non conflicting opinions. It’s kinda frustrating

  48. Dallascowboys1 on May 9, 2023 at 4:06 am

Most guns that are involved in crimes are stolen guns. Most gun violence is mostly in Democratic run cities…Chicago, NY, and LA

  49. Rae Lighty on May 9, 2023 at 4:08 am

more people die from SUICIDES THAN HOMICIDES by firearm…… More GUNS are not the answer. People in America are stupid and afraid

  50. Art on May 9, 2023 at 4:09 am

There’s a middle ground and if you stand on top of it and look to one side you’ll see countries like China and Russia and if you look to the other side of it you’ll see the United States .
