Excellent review Andy (well no real surprise there)! A question regarding the BB chambering: I noticed the magazine has the same indexing device as the Beretta m84 fs, and the Legends C96 (the plastic one). Is the chambering done by the trigger action as is the case with the Beretta, or by the slide movement like the c96? The first case would make the trigger a double action, while the latter a single one.

  3. Ryan Ciccimarro on May 4, 2023 at 3:39 am

Stupid question, but where can I find this BB gun? I can’t find it anywhere

  4. daermon1000 on May 4, 2023 at 3:39 am

  5. Theo Chambers on May 4, 2023 at 3:39 am

  6. john pickering on May 4, 2023 at 3:40 am

Is the vp9 actually field strippable in 177 cab because every review I’ve ever watched and everything I’ve read hasn’t said a thing about it

  9. 1Goldigger1 on May 4, 2023 at 3:42 am

  10. Ultor on May 4, 2023 at 3:42 am

    That looks awesome!

  14. Jeffery Villanueva on May 4, 2023 at 3:48 am

Where do you get the guns from?

  15. Alan Howe on May 4, 2023 at 3:49 am

Nice pistol. I own one. But in common with some other Umarex pistols, there’s a weakness with the 2 piece magazine. The upper silver section that contains the valve is connected to the black lower part by two steel pins that pass through small lugs cast into the bottom of the silver part. If you apply even slightly too much leverage when tightening the CO2 cylinder screw, at least one of these lugs will break off, wrecking the magazine. Just be warned.

  16. LoC on May 4, 2023 at 3:50 am

I agree, the VP9 does look like the better pistol. The main selling points for the Glock were it’s power & accuracy, but this would seem to have both *with* blowback. In fact the only negative I can see is the short slide travel but it’s not a deal breaker.

    Thanks for the review. πŸ‘

  17. Tim Shelley on May 4, 2023 at 3:51 am

Thanks Andy! Been considering this one and I appreciate your input, like always! Hope you and yours are alright.

  21. Jayd on May 4, 2023 at 3:57 am

Do you like this better than the Glock Gen 4?

  22. MachineGunIt on May 4, 2023 at 3:57 am

This is my first gun. Quality is fantastic. I absolutely love it! It’s such a solid weapon, shoots great, and the blowback system and lock open after last shot is amazing. Really great gun. Funny thing is when I went to the shop to buy it I just picked a random one (this one) and as soon as the guy put it in my hand I knew I had to have it. Cons is mine has a little rattle when I shake it (most pistols will probably have this?) and it’s really loud, specially the first shot after a new cartridge. I wouldn’t change it for the world and it’s made it extremely difficult to justify buying another pistol for the same price considering I doubt theyll be of as good quality. Solid 10/10

  23. Bror Jordas on May 4, 2023 at 3:58 am

Thank you for the informative video!
This H&K VP9 seemed to have some similarities with the Tolmar ISSC M22 BB airgun too. The magazine seems a lot like the same, same multitool comes along (the M22 has an extra trigger safety for storage, which needs the multitool), trigger safety on both, approx same power, "Glock look" on both (the M22 has a hammer though).
Was just thinking of that should I have bought this VP9 instead (love my UX HK USPs that I own).. But the ISSC M22 had even an adjustable rear sight (for windage) – that this VP9 apparently does not have..

    Triger is from plastic?

  32. Mufasa on May 4, 2023 at 4:18 am

Hello, thanks for review. I just got one today and bb’s keep getting stuck in the barrel. Any thoughts? Am I pulling trigger too fast?

  33. Devin Nerison on May 4, 2023 at 4:18 am

When you put in a CO2 cannister and you store it for a few weeks will it lose air? Will it leak out?

  34. George Miami on May 4, 2023 at 4:20 am

After taking your advice for a second time, i got the VP9. It’s fun, has nice accuracy, love the full size mag. As said, the trigger has a very long pull, you need to get used to it, also the mag release is more safe than a button, but tricky for longer fingers if you want to speed-reload. What i also really love is the position of the safety, its exactly where the trigger finger parks when not on the trigger, so it is ultra easy to unlock . Thanks for another great review Andy, greetings from Greece.

  35. Fabrizio de Simone on May 4, 2023 at 4:21 am

Hi, which one do you prefer between: S&W M&P9 M2.0 and H&K VP9? Thanks

  36. Bror Jordas on May 4, 2023 at 4:22 am

Just got mine a few days ago.. Love it.
Sure. It has a shorter blowback action than some other airguns – but it is good! No need to spend more CO2 on a longer blowback action and get get less fps/power. My VP9 shoots 105 shots per CO2 cartridge (15 round magazines x 7 targets) – and that is a very good shotcount for a hard shooting blowback BB pistol.
And it made good groupings too! Not bad at all, considering it has no adjustable rear sight even.. but apparently it do not really need one.. πŸ™‚

I love the way you say BB’s. Thanks for post. Enjoy your videos.

Nice to see some down-to-Earth, light-hearted reviews of big boys’ toys! Thanks…

  43. patrick lynd on May 4, 2023 at 4:29 am

Andy, is your Weihrauch HW110 you own a .177cal? I enjoy your reviews and no nonsense facts! Most people want many shots because their marksmanship is poor. Placing the shot accurately is second as safety is first. Thanks again.

  44. Chris O'Neill on May 4, 2023 at 4:30 am

Has anybody found this in the shown black and grey? I can find black only. Was this a very limited run in this color scheme?

  45. BedsitBob on May 4, 2023 at 4:33 am

3:02 "When you say it like that, it sounds like it should be made by K-Tel or something."

Or maybe Gerber, Leatherman or SOG.

  46. Hoai Nguyen on May 4, 2023 at 4:33 am

Wow, this is the 1st review demonstrating it’s violent sound and recoil! πŸ‘Œ awesomeness
