The guys that hates Hi-Points be listening to the person that buys crap modded magazines, most videos I’ve seen of a Hi-Point jamming the person is using a crapshoot custom magazine, never the stock one.

I got a jhp hi point 45. I love it had it for years but recently I got a better job and upgraded to a 1911 now I’m considering getting one of those hi point 45 carbines just so my ammo has a verity of options to be shot out of lol

I had the Keltec Sub2K in 9mm, but being a Southpaw my face was too close to the Ejection Port & I’d get a dirty face quickly. So I flipped It, a month ago, for the 45acp 4595TS & I’m addicted! This is a sturdy reliable carbine, right outta the box, the iron (peep/ghost) sights are dead on. Even at 50yds we had 2” tight groupings. I liked the Sub2K, but I Luvv the 4595: “ Fun to shoot” means – Very Accurate!! Thanx for your honest reviews poppa/son!! ☮️😎💯

Nice unit there, mixup. If it works then it’s a good gun. It would be interesting to see the velocity differences between that and the pistol. Also, how it does at 100-yards. BTW, at what range did you zero it?

  9. livebaitlarry on March 25, 2023 at 3:17 am

  10. Damo G on March 25, 2023 at 3:19 am

I like these videos. It’s good to see a father and son have such a great relationship.

  17. David Hiltner on March 25, 2023 at 3:25 am

How often do you disassemble and clean it? (Taking it apart looks to be a chore.)

  18. gmason84041 on March 25, 2023 at 3:25 am

Pretty much anyone that has ever talked trash about the Hi Point 45 carbine has never owned or shot one. Ive had mine for over a decade. Thing just works.

  19. TheGearhead222 on March 25, 2023 at 3:35 am

For the pricepoint, Highpoint carbines are hard to beat. I have a Kel-Tec Sub 2000, and I honestly like the Hi-Point more. My only complaint is that there aren’t that many available aftermarket mags for the High Point-John in Texas

  20. Eric Eller on March 25, 2023 at 3:36 am

Somebody should smith one up in .25 ACP with a twenty-round double-stack. 😁
    Or .22 Magnum

  21. j m on March 25, 2023 at 3:38 am

These just work. The end. Love mine, have it about 12 yr s now. Not one malfunction out of nearly 3000 rounds. No matter what I’ve fed it. Mostly ball, all of it 230 grain. Built like a tank. Accurate out to 75 yrds, even with iron sights. I’ve taken coyote, rabid, aggressive racoon, and fended off an attempted drive by, with it.

  22. Dan Lovett on March 25, 2023 at 3:39 am

    I’ve got 2 ,,,, 45 desert camo , and 40 woodland camo . Love ’em both !!

  25. Tony Orabona on March 25, 2023 at 3:42 am

After seeing this vid I purchased one (Hi-Point .45 Carbine)with your mag selection. And I appreciate this accurate carbine. Thank you for your reviews.

  27. Rajan Sharma on March 25, 2023 at 3:43 am

Hello, your new subscriber from INDIA and you know that INDIA is such an advanced and developed country that you cannot even get a .22 without license and the license you can get if you have links with higher officials and that too in 2 to 3 years, so I just feel happy with your videos of the guns, so sad.

  28. RCL87 on March 25, 2023 at 3:43 am

It’s fine if people want an affordable firearm or something to have fun with. It’s another thing entirely to argue they’re quality or something you should rely on to defend your life.

  29. Joshua Gibson on March 25, 2023 at 3:45 am

What’s a good white paint for steel targets that is economical?

  30. Boom Stick on March 25, 2023 at 3:46 am

I had such good accuracy from a High Point 45 JHP pistol in the past, exceeding any accuracy from my 1911, I just bought a new High Point 45 JHP. Bulky, heavy, but never fails & accurate. Adding a set of faux stag grips soon, anything to dress up the plain appearance.

  31. Richard Storm on March 25, 2023 at 3:47 am

How far is the rifle accurate up to? And does this rifle have any magazines that hold up to 20 to 30 bullets?

  32. Tactical Outdoors on March 25, 2023 at 3:48 am

Carbines are great and shoot well, but I’ll never own a Hi-point pistol haha there trash

  33. J D on March 25, 2023 at 3:48 am

Hi Boys, you never fail to hold my interest. One of the many worthy videos I think are great.

  34. MrPaulVox on March 25, 2023 at 3:49 am

The soda didn’t have a chance… Hey MixUp I was thinking of the 9mm HiPoint because of the amount of ammo I keep in 9mm and the fact that the recoil of the 9mm might be a bit less for the wife to shoot. I have never shot this rifle but I understand that they are pretty heavy and the mags are Hi-Point only and not too great and don’t last (just what I heard). How is the take down and cleaning of this rifle and can you do a video on that if you have not already? Your the best my friend and as always your helping me to be a better, smarter shooter. Thank you!

  35. ToRmEnToR XL on March 25, 2023 at 3:51 am

Have you thought about rubbing 45 super through it?

  36. Floyd McCarty on March 25, 2023 at 3:51 am

I do believe they have a 10mm which shoots the .40 S&W. I bought the .40 S&W great price and I wanted a pcc. Finally found the 9mm and I love it especially with the boomerang!

  37. Sam Dunlap on March 25, 2023 at 3:51 am

I have taken several deer with mine all under 100yds but one shot one kill, fantastic Lil firearm

  38. Wayne Perkins on March 25, 2023 at 3:52 am

    Excellent review. Questions:
    1. With the modifications you made to the carbine, what would be a ballpark cost?

    2. Do they make a larger capacity magazine?

    Thanks for the great review!

  39. Russ Scott on March 25, 2023 at 3:53 am

I really like your site without the puffed up crap from other site’s. I enjoy your actual shooting, your simple way of talking to us. We are due to move back to the states not away as my Filipina just graduated nursing college. I’m older that you but you remind me of my dad! What part of the state are you.in? We have talked about the west or Florida. She wants Florida I want the change of seasons. The Filipino made weapons are z good buy . They have or will have a new factory I’m Nevada I heard. One 1911 model has changed barrels 9mm or 22 mag. They have many models. I think my 1911 was around $300 a few years ago. Take care partner. Scotty.

  40. Riley on March 25, 2023 at 3:56 am

Awesome I have the 9mm version and it works and is fun to shoot

  41. frank nigro on March 25, 2023 at 3:57 am

had mine altered to accept 1911 mags, huge improvement

  42. CARLOS SALOMON SABAJ ALIAGA on March 25, 2023 at 3:57 am

  43. Life with a view on March 25, 2023 at 4:01 am

Them and their pistol are just so heavy but they work for the cost.

  44. Victoria Suesz on March 25, 2023 at 4:02 am

I have two hi-point products and love them both. I have had my .380 for close to 20 years and it has never had any issues. I picked up the .45 carbine 5 years ago and have added new rails along with other items. I may pick up one in 9mm just for the range. I love hi-point products and in my honest opinion, they are good guns for a small budget.

  45. Earl Tash on March 25, 2023 at 4:02 am

I’ve owned the 4595ts now for 4 months.
It’s a really cheap made i guess u say affordable chunk of junk.
Pain in the ass to clean.
Once u take one apart to clean u wonder why u even bought such a crappy built gun….?
Ive had nothing but trouble with mine with …
    Weak primer strikes…..lots!!
Failure to fully load a round….2 out of the 9 rounds most times…
    Failure to completely eject rounds.
I am again going to send mine back to get looked at….
Once repaired and checked out im selling it.
I’ll look for a lever action 45 colt.
    To bad Glock wouldn’t make a carbine…..
Now that would be a sure winner…….👍👍👍👍

  46. Duane on March 25, 2023 at 4:03 am

Need to get 1 of these.

  47. Douglas Meserole on March 25, 2023 at 4:04 am
