Hi-Point C9: Are the Haters Correct?
Hi-Point C9: Are the Haters Correct?
In this video John the Firearms Instructor opens and fires the Hi-Point C9. In this video as well as all of our other gun demos we shoot the firearm straight out of the box without oil or lubricant. The apparent jams/misfires in this video are due to the gun being dry not its mechanics.

I purchased one of the first c-9s that had the poly frame. Several years and less than 500 rounds later the gun became a jam-o-matic. I called Hi-Point and I have to say that their customer service was great. I sent it to them and they called right back and told me that the frame was starting to split (it had the slide and springs that were used on the all metal version of the gun). They replaced the gun with a new one plus new magazines. I sold the gun for a little more than what I had paid for it and invested in DA/SA 9mm. As far as I know the new owner is still enjoying the Hi-Point.
I’d be happy with that grouping.
I want one of these as a truck gun
It’s an ok gun for training, and defense if that’s all that you can afford
Only take the jhp 45 acp never jamm
Love the hi-points, thanks
