Why do people say truck gun or tackbox/toolbox gun? What the hell happened to responsible gun owners? I hope that someone gets your gun in your toolbox and shoots someone. I can see the headlines now: idiot leaves gun in toolbox and crackhead shoots a bus load of nuns… film at 11. 🤣🤣🤣

I just bought one at Academy today. I had bought a couple in the past (9mm and 45), and they just came in a cardboard box then. Now they come in a nice plastic case and it came with a rubber sleave to install on the grip for better hand traction when your hands a sweaty.

I would like to see a comparison between a Hi-point 45 and a budget 1911, to see if there’s much (or any) difference in operation, accuracy or reliability.. I’m betting on the Hi-point..
Is there anything at all that this Hi-point 380 does better than any other gun you own – other than the low price you paid for it.?

Sent mine in for repairs 2 times in a year. Still jams, still sights for crap, will NEVER buy a hi point weapon ever again. It’s a paper weight!

I have this gun too. 😀
It’s ugly, it’s heavy, and it’s not much fun to shoot. But it fires every time, reasonably accurate, lifetime warranty, better trigger than a glock….all for around $150.
Can’t really hate on it too hard.

I want to see everyone that hates that gun stand in front of one pouting right at them lol

Lots of guns are 1.2 inches wide. No that is not a loaded chamber indicator, it is the slide retainer.. I dont think you like this gun, which is fine.. you wasted everybody’s time making this video, I wouldnt own the seacamp if you gave it to me… yes, hi-point pistols are archaic.

It has the distinction of being probably the cheapest new semi-auto pistol you can buy. Prices have gone up but around 169, tax included will get you one in my neck of the woods. I’ve never had one, but things being like they are now I appreciate that something like that is available for those that might need it.

This gun shoots. Plain and simple. That’s all that matters. Why spend 2000k$ for a gun that doesn’t shoot but looks pretty?

Big, fat and ungly. What’s not to love. It goes bang most of the time.

  21. Cynthia Henderson on September 17, 2022 at 9:32 pm

You can get an uncle mike’s sleeve with finger grooves to go over the grips and the redball 20 round 9mm mags fit and function in the .380 hi-point handgun and carbine. All polymer frame handguns and guns for that matter are butt ugly, this gun isn’t a Browning 1911 .380 or a 1911 .380 Rock Island or a .380 Walther PPK. The criminal you are going to shoot with this gun isn’t going to make fun of you defending your life, your family, your pets and property.
