Let me get this right… he’s an expert at levelling scopes and his name is Grant Lavelle? Is that his real name or did he think it sounded like a great idea?

FUNNY THAT YOU THINK IT MATTERS WHEN NOBODY HOLDS & SHOOTS THEIR RIFLE PERFECTLY STRAIGHT VERTICAL!

Thank you for that incredible tip, on using the plumb bob for leveling the stadia, not just the housing. Lots of time learning precision rifle, the last few months, and never heard that one before!
As a mason, I can add a tip for your viewers who don’t have the space to move the plumb line out far enough to be seen through the scope. With sufficient weight, any line (rope) will work, like a 1/2" braided line, just make sure the weight doesn’t touch the ground or anything else.

Use a sliding parallel between picatinny rail and machined surface under scope at the turret area. Most good scopes have a flat surface underneath. Finished quicker than the time used for this video.

Thanks for your tips and yes, I got one 4 U 2, and suggest to never keep the booze glasses
with the uncovered opening to the top in a shed type or otherwise dusty location!

Putting a level on a turret, worse yet, on a turret cap is not a good way to level a scope. The plumb bob is a good way to go IF you do it right. Opinions on scope leveling are like assholes, everybody has one…but most are wrong.

What about setting your eye relief? By not mounting it to the rifle I may have to start over, right?

Awesome video Sir! I think this is about as accurate you can be. I’m definitely going to start doing this.

Plumb bob for flawless up and down.
Don’t have level for left and right?
Just grab any clear container…like a gallon of water..pour some out, now look at the water line👍gravity will always level the top of the fill line❤️
