How to Make *Any* AR-15 Legal in California?

In this episode of TFBTV, @JamesReeves is at Sons of Liberty Gun Works’ SHOT Show 2023 booth to talk about a new option they’ve added to the SOLGW lineup in order to make nearly any AR sold by SOLGW California Compliant, even with those “scary” features typically banned in the state.

Wait for it.. they will change the rules to make this fixed mag illegal. Just like the ATF brace rule. They do not want people to have any power

This best be being thrown in the trash after shipped

  3. Pete Pedro on May 10, 2023 at 3:15 am

This compmag thing sucks. Hogue freedom fighter with the juggernaut tactical hell fighter rear pin is the only way to go. Two second mag change compared to five minutes reloading this comp mag thing

  4. Jonathas Castro on May 10, 2023 at 3:15 am

    What about just the mag?

  5. Eric on May 10, 2023 at 3:17 am

How has somebody not made a design like this that integrally accepts stripper clips?

  6. John. R on May 10, 2023 at 3:17 am

Yea but the doj n CA will not allow this magazine

  7. Ed Horn on May 10, 2023 at 3:18 am

Pack all of your rifles in a secure case and move out of California. 🤣🇺🇸

What’s up with the gun obsession holy shit, havnt enough people been killed by this specific gun to just let it go, find another hobby man

  13. Cal Wallace on May 10, 2023 at 3:26 am

Does this open up the door to use like a vertical fore grip aswell?

  14. XSKINMANX on May 10, 2023 at 3:27 am

Am I missing something? So with this item you have to break the upper from the lower and then use a pin to remove the magazine? I believe all California requires is the separation of upper and lower to remove magazine and that is it. This item seems to ad an extra step. Can anybody clarify this? Unless something has changed that I do not know about just breaking upper from lower to remove magazine is legal in Cali.

  15. scream2749 on May 10, 2023 at 3:28 am

Wait, does this work for CT too?

  16. bugalaman on May 10, 2023 at 3:28 am

Craziness. The 2nd amendment states every AR and magazine, regardless of capacity, is California legal. I mean, the Constitution applies to all 50 US states, right?

  17. spoke1183 on May 10, 2023 at 3:29 am

Need a bill to abolish CA. Give it back to mexicans or aliens who gives a fuck at this point.

  18. Colin Cline on May 10, 2023 at 3:31 am

The easiest way to make any AR legal in California is to stay out of California… 🇺🇲💪

  19. Jonathan Cruz on May 10, 2023 at 3:33 am

Don’t do this!! Just built a SOLGW from scratch and added an @ar_maglock (fix mag) it’s faster for reloading! Link up with them

  20. Jorge Pulido Valadez on May 10, 2023 at 3:33 am

  25. b566t on May 10, 2023 at 3:35 am

Now I need another AR this time I want to build mine with the thordsen two stock

  26. Recon0x7F on May 10, 2023 at 3:37 am

to make things clear i wouldnt have to pull a lever on every shot right?

  27. Lou Sassle on May 10, 2023 at 3:39 am

For the ateef agent looking through the comments. You’re a lame

  28. Ryan Rothford on May 10, 2023 at 3:39 am

This seems like a very difficult way to reload and get back into the fight if necessary. The fixed magazine AR Maglock with kingpin is a much better option in my opinion for California gun owners such as myself that want all the normal rifle features.

  29. Jon on May 10, 2023 at 3:39 am

It’s like a man that was castrated and turned into some weak-freak queer bate POS!!!
    😂

  31. Dusty 805 on May 10, 2023 at 3:42 am

I run a filed down hogue freedom fighter and ar MAGLOCK kingpin. Yes I wish I didn’t have to but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying my AR. And it’s far superior to this mag. You tube it.

  32. 85RChester on May 10, 2023 at 3:43 am

AR mag lock is way better then that, not even close.

  33. Music Snob on May 10, 2023 at 3:43 am

One state over you still get 30 rds and don’t have to rebuild a carburetor to changer mags.

  34. America First Paleocon on May 10, 2023 at 3:44 am

This will go the way of the brace and you’ll be out of a gun.

  35. The Professor on May 10, 2023 at 3:44 am

Can you make a step by step guide on how to own an AR in california? I’m currently 20 years old in the army and thinking of buying a gun for myself. Thanks for the vid💯🇺🇸

  36. Hold the Line Patriots on May 10, 2023 at 3:48 am

Sons of Liberty are creating products to comply with tyranny.

  37. Kyle Woytasczyk on May 10, 2023 at 3:48 am

California logic: flash hider makes the weapons flash not loud and the collapsible stock makes the gun fit into your pocket by your phone ….

  38. Andrew Johnson on May 10, 2023 at 3:53 am

    HA! GAEEEEEEE!

  39. Corn flaek on May 10, 2023 at 3:55 am

How to make your gun California compliant

Don’t go to a better state that has affordable housing as well

  40. William Subjack on May 10, 2023 at 3:57 am

These have been an absolute godsend for us here in NY, hoping to see more compmag products in the future!

  41. EightChips on May 10, 2023 at 3:59 am

Or just leave and be free

  42. Richard Vail on May 10, 2023 at 4:01 am

Why would I want to make my rifle "CA Compliant"? That would be likesticking my dick in a fan. Just not gonna do it…

  43. Anthony on May 10, 2023 at 4:02 am

Can someone explain to me what difference a removable vs fixed mag makes in terms of the way California politicians see it? How is it "safer" to have a fixed mag as opposed to a traditional removable mag?

  44. I own a computer at home on May 10, 2023 at 4:02 am

I still don’t understand how this is supposed to stop gun violence lol how does this do anything seriously how does limiting magazines do anything?

  45. ThirdAct Warrior on May 10, 2023 at 4:02 am

A paraphrase of an old Sam Kinson joke: "They don’t need a device for their ARs, they need a U-Haul brochure!"

  46. David Sanchez on May 10, 2023 at 4:03 am

Had two of these . Double feed problems for me . Ended up going with AR maglock to be CA compliant . Compmag is a great idea but flawed if you needed reliability.

  47. J M on May 10, 2023 at 4:03 am

Thank you for making this I’m looking to buy a rifle soon but California sure likes to make it hard to exercise my constitutional rights….I gotta get outta here lol.

  48. R C on May 10, 2023 at 4:07 am

Ar gonna have 10+1 specs now 😂

  49. Stevey Jay on May 10, 2023 at 4:08 am

So can you still "normal" mag release button on the receiver?

  50. john gomez on May 10, 2023 at 4:11 am
