Great parting message.
Hey. I’m a boomer, and even my first pistol was double-stack!! (Browning Hi-Power.) 🙂
I love hearing you say "It’s all fine and dandy until you need to get into a Humvee or a striker or a helicopter seat." while I’m hoping gracefully into my truck! Haha! I’m just a normal non-military dude I just love watching these to gain info and learn. Also… you know… for fun! Love the content man, keep it up!
And what about IFAK on the belt?
You go for your multitool more than your pistol mag?
Your tourniquet is sitting the wrong way in the pouch. If you have to pull it with the left arm it wount come out..
I was airsofting today and got caught and they shot me with bbs 5 times so…. It was my first time! Cherry done popped like i bled a bit from a bobo.
Very accurate considerations for kit placement.
Listen here kids…
What shirt is that?
It is 2022. You were right sadly. Mass shootings in Texas and elsewhere. Trump is gone but his poison remains. 18, 19, 20 year olds and crazies with battle belt shooting up schools and now three cops killed in Texas by a suicide.
Protect your lower back! Keep core strong as possible. You do not want disc displacements.
0:07 This past week I was making a frozen pizza in the kitchen while breaking in a new vest in. Roomates gf walks in stops and looks at me,
Her: Ya making pizza?
Me: Yup.
Her. Leave the oven on, I’m gonna make one too after you.
Me: 10-4
She’s used to it.
Damn called tf out within the first minute 😂
T REX arms has a good vid on belts as well.
I’ve been out of the game for quite a few years now and am putting my kit back together. Love your videos. There’s so much good gear out there it’s overwhelming trying to sift through the stuff and get down to the legit good stuff. Especially when you have to pay out of pocket and it’s not issued. This is the last time I hope to re do my kit, I’ve had my personal kit stolen 2 times. Last time was 7? Years ago so I’m thankful someone has saved me some footwork and money I don’t have lol
How about mounting all the stuff
I have to keep unsubscribing to subscribe with these intros!
What tourniquet pouch is that
I bought a $60 dollar battle belt from a company called tacticon and so far it’s pretty great.
what do you have your tourniquet in?
Great job explaining how to use a combat belt. I agree that we need to be nicer to each other. I tend to believe that I can learn from everyone and I always take away a nuget from videos I watch. I know it takes a lot of work to put these videos on and I appreciate it. Thank yoy!
1:01 "pretty bitchen" fucken christ XD
Hey Thumb, quick question… do you know of a safariland ALS holster like yours that will support the 1911 platform? Been looking, but can’t tell if they have the release or not.

Could you do a review on the defense mechanism mech belt?
I thought you were my father
What type (name) of mag pouches he use?
What Carabiner is that?
Thank you, it was a great class
I love your videos, but why do so many of the people that like your videos or follow you seem genuinely stupid? Its just an awkward bedfellows situation. I mean they are paying you so i get it… but jesus they seem dumb af
I haven’t been to the shooting range in over 15 years but recently decided to start going again. Already have my Glock 22 (would have preferred a CZ P10F) and most of my gear. I was just gonna wear my OWB EDC holster to the gun range. But from a safety perspective i like the idea of a dedicated range belt like this one. UBL mid plus QLS to lower it a bit and to space it away from my body. And even though i wasn’t planning on it i ended up deciding to get a CAT (fitted same way as shown here) and medkit too since accidents do happen at public ranges. Only thing that sucks is that i’m overweight and have a big gut so i look rediculous wearing it, but safety comes first.
What type of attachment type does he have for his pistol pouches, that’s my question.
Where so you biy your flannel Shirts?
Great video. I’m an old 10th Grouper and loved working with you guys!
I am getting the bison belt soon I am really excited to get it thank you Garand Thumb for the information😄😄
Can you compare it against the HSP battle belt??
hey thumb, polyester or cotton undershirts?
I at least had to benefit of my uncle who was Army, Navy, and PD walk in he looked at me and was like "The fits off. Let me help with that."
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight
How well do esstac retain multi tools?
@garandthumb Are you aware that Ferro is very specific about the D ring on the Bison belt not being rated nor intended for use as a helo retention device?
Thank you for taking the time to make your videos. I sincerely appreciate you sharing the information so that we can [learn]. My battle belt is setup a little different, but as you said we need to set it up for how [we] intend to use it.
Great break down, bro. As Recon, I have never thought about a dump pouch. Obviously that is something I need but it’s never hit the brain cells to say "hey! I need that!" I appreciate the thought process. I’ll need to snag one for my kit!
Thanks for the video
I actually found running an ifak 2.0 on my ass end of the belt to give my back support In vehicles, it kept my lower bacl from sagging with the gap u der the plate
Fanny pack… You’re probably right, but man, I’m not trying to admit to myself that I’m an old fud. I don’t even sport New Balance, yet.
What exact model of holster?
Excellent presentation!
I am building my Alaska hike belt
