H&R .58 Cal Black Powder Rifle ( harrington & Richardson )

H&R .58 Cal Black Powder Rifle ( harrington & Richardson )

This firearm was gifted to me by the white haired man at the end of the video. I didn’t touch the table, the percussion made my phone jump. The rifle is pretty accurate for shooting a round bullet and it’s one of my favorite rifles. I believe it was made in the late 70’s

I have one of these too but I haven’t shot it yet.I also have one in .45 cal. with a faster twist rate for conicals. From what I’ve read most of these guns were made in 1971.H&R still makes the Huntsman but now they only come in .50 cal. and they use a 209 shotgun primer.

What kind of load are you using?

Hey I know this video is old, but where is your rear sight adjusted and what is your load? I’m using 80 grains ffg and a 277 grain .570 patch and ball.
